Standing at the door in front of her, Amber carelessly pushed the 4 digit password to unlock it. Punching the numbers, it took her a lot of time just to get the right password. It also didn't help her for being drunk and being so wobbly all the time. 

After a few a minutes, she heard a beep, notifying her, that the door is already unlocked. She flew the door open, and let herself in. After she closed the door behind, she heard footsteps coming towards her direction. She didn't have a chance to look at the person, because her head is already spinning. 

"Amber? Where have you---- oh my god!" She heard the person say. She was about to fall on the ground, but she felt the person, prevent her from coming. Then suddenly, she passed out.











 

Soon, she felt that there's someone shaking her body. She slowly open her eyes, and that was when she realised, that she passed out on the arms of the person. She lift her head from the latter's shoulder, and stared at the person's face - eyes were half closed. A few seconds, she took a good look at the person.

"Jessica ..." She thought.

"Jessica ..." She mumbled in her mind again.
 

In Amber's vision and mind, the person in front of her is Jessica - her girlfriend; the one she loved. 

So after the 'staring game', Amber planted a soft kiss on the temple at the person, she thought Jessica. Amber felt that 'Jessica' stiffened, and she heard a gasp, but it didn't stop her from what she's doing to 'Jessica'. She proceeded down to her cheek, and to her jawline. After that she move her way to 'Jessica's' neck.

While Amber is busy tasting her neck, she heard 'Jessica' spoke.

"A-Amber .. S-stop .. We can't do this .. A-Amber .. A-aaaahhh .." Amber didn't listen to her, but instead she the girl's sweet spot, to shut her up.

Amber thought that 'Jessica' is already melted by her touches until she felt, that the girl is pushing her. Amber thought, that the last 'secret weapon' will be useful to her. So without hesitations, Amber crashed her lips onto 'Jessica's'. She mentally smiled, when Amber felt that 'Jessica' quickly responded.






 

Its so fast, Amber just realized that she already pinned 'Jessica' onto the wall, while she was busy 'Jessica's' neck, and her hands traveling around her body.

But one thing, she noticed, when she tasted the girl's lips, she felt ... Nothing. Her heart will definitely jumping, and she will feel butterflies in her stomach every time they will share a kiss. But today ... Its different - pure nothing. But nevertheless, she didn't stop.

Then all of a sudden, Amber heard some whimpering sounds. She quickly stops her movements, and stared at her with worried looks.

"A-are you crying?" Amber whispered. She didn't want to see her girlfriend at this state. It hurts her. Amber placed a hand on the girl's cheek, as she brushed away the tears. The girl, held Amber's hand wherein on her cheek.

"I love you ... Amber." The girl whispered, but then again, Amber felt nothing. Instead of pure joy - nothing. Then the next thing she knew, she was pulled for a passionate kiss again.

I was awaken by the sound of my phone on the nightstand. I opened my eyes, adjusting from the light first, before setting my eyes on the phone. It was moving, because of the vibration. I couldn't answer it because, my body is somewhat like frozen; I couldn't even move my arms. After a few rings, it suddenly stopped. I heaved out a deep sigh, shutting my eyes closed just for a few seconds. 

Opening my eyes again, I lift my body, but I groaned when my hang-over finally hit me. I held my head, just to ease the pain, leaning my back against the headboard. I closed my eyes, just waiting for the pain subsided.

"That's what you get for drinking too much, Amber." I mumbled to myself. 

After a few minutes, I felt the pain is almost gone, but I can still feel a little bit pang in my head. I swallowed the dry lump in my throat, as I focus my attention on my phone. I tried moving, and settled as I sat on the other side of the bed. I grabbed my phone on the nightstand, and push the top button to light it up.

25 missed calls.

I unlocked my phone and went to my call history. Scrolling, those calls were from Jessica; including the one earlier. I feel guilty for not answering her calls, but it still hurts - it hurts to hear that from her.

How can she even say that to me? Is she doubting my love to her? That's pathetic. I can't do that to her. If I were to choose, I will just sacrifice my career just to be with her.

"Jessica .." It still hurts.

Taking a deep breath, I slowly stood up from the bed, and I realized, that I'm still wearing the clothes from last night; well, aside from my shoes, maybe I removed it when I got here. I dragged my feet towards the bathroom; I reeked of alcohol, I should get rid of the smell immediately.

After a few minutes of washing up, I stepped out from the bathroom, and headed towards the cabinet to grab some fresh clothes - tank top and basketball shorts, I just want to relax here for awhile.

As I swung the door open, I was welcomed by an aromatic fragrance coming from the kitchen. Why is it that, its not bacon, eggs and pancakes that I smell? I glanced at the digiclock on the nightstand - oh, that explains. 

12:30 PM

I wonder, who's cooking? Walking towards the kitchen, I saw a woman's back wearing a blue tank top and pajamas - Soojung.

"Soojung." I called. Her humming stopped and she quickly turned her head to look at me.

"Amber! Its good that you're awake. Sit there, the food is ready." She showed me a sweet smile, pointing to an empty seat at the dining table.

Heading towards the dining table, I noticed that we're alone."Where is everybody?" I asked, as I took a sit on the chair.

"Huh? Oh, the three of them already left earlier, while you were sleeping. They were really busy, since last night."

"Aahh .. Did they already had their breakfast?" I watched her turning off the stove, before lifting the pot. I was supposed to help her, but she told me just to stick my on the chair.

"Yeah, they did. Its actually just a quick breakfast, they were in a hurry." After placing the pot on the center of the table, she removed her apron and then grabbed a mug and a kettle on the counter island.

"*sigh* they must be pretty exhausted. Its a good thing, that I can relax today." I said, while staring at the sumptuous meal in-front of me.

"Yeah you are right - here, drink this." I looked at the mug she's shoving me.

"What is that?" I asked, glancing up at her as I quirked an eyebrow.

"Honey water. Drink this, it will help you to feel better." She was just waiting for me to take the mug.

"Amber, don't worry, I didn't put any poison in this. Drink this up, so we can eat." I didn't have a choice, but to take the mug from her hands. Drinking the contents, it tastes like tea and she was actually right, I feel a bit better.

"So .. Did you die after you drink it?" She question in sarcasm. I just stuck my tongue out as a reply. Chuckling, she rolled her eyes, as she sat on the chair across from me.

"Okay, I'm starving. What did you cook, Soojung?" She was already lifting up the lid from the pot, and i think I heard my stomach grumbling. She really knows how to cook - just like ... Jessica.

"Beef stew." She simply stated, while scooping some of it and pouring it on my bowl.

"Beef stew." I repeated."It looks delicious, though."

I grabbed the spoon on the side of my bowl, as I took a taste of it."Hmm! Its tasty and delicious!" She formed a bright smile on her face, and I also smiled in return.

As I was popping the meat inside my mouth, I noticed that there's a red mark on her neck. What is that?

"Soojung? What's on your neck?" After what she heard, she quickly swung her hair over the right side of her neck, just to cover it up. I also, noticed that her face is turning red. I raised my eyebrows, what's wrong with her?

"Uh .. I-I don't know. When I woke up .. I .. I just saw it there. U-uhm .. Maybe .. Mosquito bites. Yeah .. Mosquito bites." 

Is there something wrong with my question? She looks like a bit nervous and surprised, when I ask her. Why am I even bothered? Oh, well.

Shrugging my shoulders, I focused my attention at the food in front of me.

"Amber?" I heard her called me. I looked up at her.

"Uhm, you were so drunk last night. Is there something wrong? Did .. You and unnie fought?"

I stopped. She caught me off guard on that question. I blew out a sigh. I miss her already, but I can't get stop thinking about our fight last night. 

"Amber?" I snapped back to reality, as I heard her voice. Even though, that her sister is my girlfriend; I think, she doesn't have to know about it. Soojung has nothing to do with our fight - she was out of it. We must fix this just by the two of us.

I put up my brightest smile, so it will not be too obvious."No. Why? If a person is drunk, does it mean also, that he has a problem?"

She shook her head in response."You don't have to worry about anything, Soojung. The boys and I just had fun last night. So, I just got drunk a little bit." I smiled.

Its true, I was with them, but except with the 'fun' part. I drank last night, because I wanted to forget about our fight. I told them, but of course not all the details and they comforted me until the end.

After that, neither of us spoke. We just ate our lunch in silence. I don't know, its just that I'm tired to open my mouth.

But, sometimes, I can feel her gaze on me. Well, okay .. I caught her staring at me once. Okay, twice or thrice? Oh, whatever. I don't know, maybe she wants to say something to me. I'll just wait for her to speak.

"Yah, Soojung .. What are you doing?" We were just finished eating, and I watched her putting the plates in the sink.

"Uhm, washing the dishes?" She said, holding the pot, as she was ready to put it also in the sink. I chuckled, shaking my head left and right.

"Yah, gimme that." I stood up, from my seat and walk towards her, snatching the pot from her hands.

"You already did everything. Now, I will be the one, who will wash the dishes. You just stay there." I puckered my lips, pointing at the couch in the living room.

"But you were----"

"Sshhh .. Okay, you can just throw the cans in the trash bin." I said, glancing at the cans on the counter island. She was giving me an 'are-you-serious' look, and I rolled my eyes on that.

"What? You said you wanted to help. There it is, you can relax on the couch, after that." Wiggling my eyebrows, I walked towards the sink, and placed the pot in it. 

As I was rinsing the dishes, I suddenly heard her squeal which made me startle."What?! What happened?!" I turned my head to take a look at Soojung, and saw her holding her index finger. The cans was already on the table. I washed my hands first, before approaching her.

"I was cut by a can." I sighed, wiping my hands in my hips.

I grabbed her index finger that was wounded, before popping it in my mouth. it, I look up at her and I think, I shocked her of my action. Her eyes widen and was halfway open.

That was when I realized, what I did, that I shouldn't have done. Flicking my tongue against her index finger, we were just standing, while staring at each other's eyes and .... Lips. Her breathing is starting to get ragged as she moved closer to me.
