"So guys, how's Soojung right now? Is she doing fine?"

"Yes, Taeyeon-unnie.. She's actually doing great right now."

Jessica told me on the last minute, before we could even get to her place that she will just stay at their dorm for awhile, since they will have a performance tomorrow. At first, I was hesitant to agree if she will be able to perform because of what was happening a few days ago, but in the end I gave in, after a lot of convincing.

"That is a great news, then.." I heard Hyoyeon said, when I saw her coming back from the kitchen, holding a tea cup."Here, have a tea first, Amber." She handed me the cup she was holding, which I gladly accept. Then she sat beside Taeyeon on the couch, across from us.

"Thank you, Hyo-unnie." Taking a sip first, before putting it on the center table in-front of me.

"So, you said Taemin found her? But when and how? -- and I thought, Jessica -- you are going to sleep here next week? What made you change your mind?" Hyoyeon asked as she looked at Jessica at her last question.

"Yes, and he said that he found.. Her.. At.. The.. Park.." I slowed and mumbled my sentence on the last four words, when I realized what she asked.I thought, they will have a performance tomorrow? That's why she's staying here, right?

"U-uhmm.. W-we will have a performance tomorrow, right? Did you already forget it, girls?" I glanced at Jessica, which is beside me, and she's looking at the two.. Intently? But, why?

"A-ah!" I snapped my head at the person who exclaimed - Taeyeon."J-Jessica is right! H-how can we forget such an important schedule?! Yah! H-Hyoyeon-ah! Did you forget already? Aigoo.."

And it seems Hyoyeon is a bit in daze, but when she recieved a slap on her back from Taeyeon."O-omo! H-how could I forget that? H-haha! Gosh, I think my brain is getting rusty nowadays.. I'm getting old.. I'm sorry, Amber.."

Maybe, I am just thinking too much...

I smiled."No, its okay Hyo-unnie. You didn't do anything bad, and I do that a lot sometimes. I would sometimes forget that we have a schedule. So, its okay." I shifted my attention on Jessica, and I caught her staring at me. I don't know, but I got a feeling that she's telling me something in those eyes, but I can't tell what it is, but nevertheless I just smiled at her, as I reached out my arm to hold her hand. A small smile just crept onto her lips in-return, and its enough for me. Maybe, she's already tired.

"U-uhm, sorry to interupt you guys, but I think Amber should go." I looked at Taeyeon confusingly, when she said that. Hyoyeon was staring at her, with the same expression as me.

"Its not that, we don't want you here, Amber.. But I think we need time alone - the nine of us to talk about the.." Then she avert her eyes on Jessica."Performance she's telling us, because you know, Amber.." Then at me for a few seconds, then back at Jessica.

"She have to do a lot of /preparations - I mean a lot on this performance, so if its okay with you?"

I nodded, glancing at Jessica which I found her looking at our attached hands on her lap."Sure, its okay with me, and if this preparation will do her great, then its fine. Just don't make her tire so much, she won't listen, though."

She smiled warmly."We will, Amber."

Jessica and I stood up from the couch, followed by the two of them as well."Thank you, again and thank you Hyo-unnie for the tea, by the way."

"Aigoo.. Don't mention it, Amber. Hihi!" 

"I will just walk with her to the door.." I heard Jessica say in a low voice, causing me to glanced at her.

"Okay, thank you for visiting here, Amber. Have a safe drive on your way home." I smiled and nodded at Taeyeon-unnie, and bid my last goodbye to them before we dragged our feet to the doorway.

"I know that,I asked you this for so many times while we were in the car, but are you really sure that you're ready to perform tomorrow? I am just worried of you baby and I will be more worried if something might happen to you. Why don't you tell it to your manager? I'm sure that he--"

Then I was cut off by her lips. I was still caught off guard that's why my eyes were still wide open - blinking. Maybe she felt that, I'm not responding because she's pulling me closer by putting her arms around my neck. Soon, I started to close my eyes, and responds to the kiss. I placed both of my hands onto her sides, pulling her body closer to me as we deepen the kiss.

It felt like.. The kiss we are having right now, is different from the other ones that we shared before. I feel like.. This kiss has a deeper meaning, and at the same time.. Suddenly, I feel scared, but I don't know why.

"I love you, Amber." She said in the crook of my neck, once we broke from the kiss. Her voice - I noticed that it so.. Sad.

"Jessica, baby.. Are you--"

"Just tell me that you love me too.." I felt that, she gently tighten her grip around my neck.

"I love you too.. So much, and it will never change that.." I then wrapped my arm around her waist, hugging her tightly.

After a few moments of silence, I decided to broke it off."Baby, are you okay? Did something, happen? Did the doctor said, something about Soojung?" And with that, she slowly remove her arms around my neck, slightly backing away from me.

"N-no.. There's nothing wrong. I'm just tired. Maybe, a little bit of sleep will help." She whispered, flashing a small smile.

I admit, I'm still doubting that there's nothing wrong with her, but maybe she just really tired, and not to mention that she's also stress - its very evident when you look at her face, actually.

I sighed, planting a soft kiss on her forehead."Okay then.. Make sure to take a rest, okay? - I think I have to go. I have to wake up early tomorrow, because I have a photo shoot and a recording for Show Champion."

She merely nodded, placing a hand on my cheek."Amber, call me when you get home, okay?"

I peck her on the lips as a response."I will, ma'am.." I plant a soft kiss on her forehead as a signal of my goodbye, before turning the knob and walking out of their dorm.

"Manager-hyung, did you recieve any calls from Jessica while I was on stage?"

Show Champion's recording is now done, but ever since my day started, I didn't receive any calls from her. I told her last night, to give me a call before their performance, but still - even I finished recording, I didn't receive any calls from her. 

"None, Amber. Didn't you say that she has a performance right now? Maybe she's just busy. Don't worry, too much. Come on, get in the van, before you might crush because of your fangirls."

I looked over my shoulder and he's right. They are just a few meters away from me, and it scared me because they stared to run towards my direction. So, I quickly hopped inside the van, and manager-hyung immediately closed the door. When hyung stepped inside, and all of our f(x)'s team, the driver started the engine and drove away at once.











 

During the ride, my head was just leaning onto the car window, not uttering any word. Maybe because, I was just tired or worried of Jessica? But in the end, I realized that I am just overreacting. This kind of situation happen sometimes, before, but why do I feel so.. Worried?

I didn't even notice that the car suddenly stop, because we caught the red traffic light. I slumped my back against the seat, heaving out a deep sigh.

Still waiting for the light turn green, I turned my head to the left to look outside, then suddenly my brows started to curl slowly. I blink my eyes a few times, thinking that my eyes were just deceiving me, but.. What am I seeing right now is real.

There I saw Jessica coming out from the passenger seat, and from the driver's... Ok Taecyeon..

My chest started to feel heavy, while I was watching them closely to each other - side by side, and it seems that they're heading to a fine dining restaurant.

I decided to give her a call, maybe its just a misunderstanding..

Waiting for her to answer it, I'm still watching them, as she stopped on her tracks which cause Taecyeon to stop also. She fished out her phone in her bag, staring it for a few seconds. I can see that, Taecyeon's mouth is moving, maybe asking her who's the caller. I didn't know what she said, but she answered him while.. Smiling.

"Hello?"

I swallowed the lump in my throat, feeling myself getting nervous."J-Jessica.. Where are you?" I didn't hear her answer immediately. I saw that she glanced at Taecyeon for a few seconds, which is staring at her then Jessica distance slightly away from him.

"Um.. I'm at the place right now, that we're going to perform and in any minute by now, we will be on stage.."

I'm speechless.. All of a sudden.. My energy drained of what she said..

"W-wha--"

"Um, Amber the stage manager is already calling us, I need to hang-up.. Bye." And she really hung-up, glancing at him with a small smile. Then all of a sudden, the van started to move.

My last picture of them was entering inside the restaurant, with a smile on both of their faces..

I can't imagine that she did that.. So he's the /performance she was talking about.. 

She.. Lied..

How could she do that to me?

Why did she have to make up stories? Why did she lie? 

My head.. My chest.. It hurts..

Why did she do that to me? Am I not enough to her?

A/N: *sigh* i dunno.. maybe this story will be on hiatus for awhile, because I am preparing for second sem, but before i put this on hiatus maybe i will update this again for another chapter if i have time..
