"Do you know, what is happening to her these past few days?" A worried Jessica asked her lover, which is just right beside her. Amber looked at her - the same expression as Jessica's.

"I don't know baby. She's been pretty well lately, and if she has problems, she never once told us about it."

Jessica sighed, as she gazed back at the sleeping figure on the bed. She leaned her head on Amber's shoulder, while the tomboy wrapped her arm, around the older girl's waist, as they were both staring at Krystal's sleeping figure.

They were at the hospital, and the parents were also there, staring at their youngest daughter with worries filled in their minds. The 4 of them were thinking, what could be a definite reason, since the doctor said that she's okay, and he didn't see any abnormalities in her body. He just thought, that maybe she was just stress.

And because of that, as if they were solving a very mysterious case in Krystal's situation.

"Jessica .." Her dad spoke. Jessica retrieved her head on Amber's shoulder to look at her dad, which is sitting on the couch with her mom.

"Did you already tell to anybody, about what happened to your sister?" He asked.

"I told my manager before we came here, daddy. Maybe the others knew about it already, since Amber and I are not there."

He nodded."Okay, then."

Amber's arm went up to the older girl's shoulder, as she leaned her face forward."Everything will be alright baby. Trust me. I will be here for you, and I will never leave you alone." Amber whispered onto Jessica's ear. The words of wisdom, came from Amber made Jessica smile, and it grew wider when she felt a soft kiss on her temple from the latter. Jessica turned her head to look at Amber, and gave her a peck on the lips. Amber smiled, and placed a kiss on Jessica's forehead in return. The older girl wrapped her arm around the younger's waist, as she buried her face onto the tomboy's neck.

Little did they know, that Krystal is already awake, and she witnessed the sweet scene between Amber and Jessica. As if, someone is killing her - slowly while watching the lovely scene. Her tears are starting to form, while staring at the young couple.

"Soojung! Oh, thank god you are awake!" Mrs. Jung exclaimed, and she caught the attention of the three. Jessica hastily released her arm around the younger's waist, as she immediately approached her sister. The old couple strolled towards their youngest daughter, while Amber following behind Jessica.

"Soojungie, you made us worried! Tell us what happened. Are you feeling sick? Tell us, honey." Mrs. Jung started, while holding Krystal's left hand. Soojung didn't utter a word, and this made them even more worried. She was just only looking at the ceiling, and when she blinked twice, a tear just escaped from her eyes, and they all noticed it.

"S-Soojung .. Why? Is there something wrong? Did someone hurt you again? Tell me, Soojung." This time it was Jessica, who is now rubbing her sister's right arm.

When Krystal heard that from her sister, she suddenly felt like someone is squeezing her heart - really tight. The scenes earlier, and the truth behind the intimate moment that she shared with Amber were kept on replaying in her head. She tried to prevent her tears from falling, but failed when she's looking intently into Amber's eyes. She wanted to say her true feelings to her, but she can't - she really can't.

'I love you, but I can't have you. It hurts to see that you are with my sister instead of me. It hurts, that you love her than me.'

Amber noticed, that Krystal is staring at her. She was feeling a bit odd about it, but nevertheless she didn't broke it off.

Unbeknownst to them, Mrs. Jung also noticed the way she's looking at Amber. She frowned. And because of that, she already knew the real reason why Krystal is acting like that.

Krystal immediately, broke her gaze at Amber so that nobody will notice it."I want to be alone .." Krystal said.

They were kind of shocked, and at the same confused at Krystal's statement."Soojung why?" Jessica carefully asked.

"Please .. I wanted to be alone .. I want to be alone .." 

"But, Soojung --"

"Just please!" She raised her voice a little bit, and they were taken aback at her sudden action.

"Please ... I wanted to be alone .. Leave me alone ..." This time, it came out as a whisper. Jessica wanted to protest, but she also thinks that her younger sister will need it. Jessica sighed; she eyed her mom and dad. Nodding their heads, this is a signal for them to leave. They reluctantly strutted towards the door, and Jessica took one last glance before they left.

Once, they left the room, Krystal lift her half body, leaning her back against the headboard. She just can't take it anymore .. She don't want to pretend anymore, and because of that, suddenly she started to cry out loud.

Sitting at the waiting area, near Krystal's room, Amber was just staring blankly at the floor, while thinking about what just happened earlier.

'Why did she stare at me like that, as if she wants to tell me something. But what could it be?'

It was disturbing her, because she felt like, Krystal is hinting her on something with the younger's stare. She was consumed in her own thoughts, she didn't notice, that someone sat beside her. She doesn't have to turn her head to look at the person, because just by smelling of that person's scent, she already know who it is.

"Baby .. What are you thinking?" Jessica asked, eyeing the tomboy. Amber turned her head to look at her, and just smile.

"Nothing, baby." She doesn't know why, she didn't tell to Jessica, what is bothering her. She just felt - she can't tell it to anyone, especially to Jessica.

"So, where's Auntie and Uncle?" Amber changed the subject.

"They're on their way home, but they went to Krystal's room first, before they left."

Amber hummed in response. They're already waiting for 5 hours straight, and Jessica decided to let her parents to leave first, since Krystal will be discharged tomorrow.

"So, where are they?" Amber said, she was talking about their label mates, who got there earlier to check on Krystal.

"Hmm .. They're downstairs. I told them to stay there, until Krystal is ready to talk to us."

"Do you think she's ready to talk to us?" Amber stared at the older girl.

Jessica sighed, looking at Amber also."I don't know. Do you think I can check up on her right now?"

Amber looked at the direction of Krystal's room, then back at the older girl."Yeah, I think so. Maybe, this is the right time."

Jessica sighed once again, nodding her head."Okay, then. Wait me up here, arrasseo?" Amber nodded as she rubbed Jessica's lower back. The older Jung stood up, as she was ready to go to Krystal's room. Amber eyed her girlfriend, until she went inside Krystal's room.

Inside the room, there she saw Krystal who is still on the bed, in a sitting position with her legs folded over her chest, and her arms wrapped around her knees. Krystal was not looking at her sister, instead she was staring blankly outside the window.

Jessica called the younger girl's attention while approaching her."Krystal?" Krystal didn't dare to turn her head, still staring at the window.

Jessica knew that Krystal can heard her, and when she was just an inch apart to the bed, she stopped."Krystal .." She called her again, but the younger girl didn't budge.

Jessica took a deep breath. She really felt bad for her sister; if she can just take her problems away, she will do it, just to see the happy and energetic aura of her sister, again.

"Krystal .. Did someone hurt you again? Is that jerk bugging you? Krystal, come on tell unnie what is bothering you."

Still no response. 

Jessica's chest is clenching, looking at her sister in that state. She don't want to see her like that; it hurts her. She's afraid, that something bad will happen to her. Because, of that her tears are starting to form in her eyes. 

"Soojung .." Jessica whispered, slowly reaching out her arm, as she rubbed the younger's back. Fortunately, Krystal didn't mind.

Tears were slowly falling from her beautiful eyes, while staring at her younger sister. Gently squeezing her arm, Jessica tried to suppress her whimpers so that Krystal can't notice it. She doesn't want to show her weak side to Krystal. She wants to be strong for her younger sister, so that she can protect her from any person who will hurt her.

"S-Soojung .. Please .. Talk to me .. To us .. I-I will do anything for you .. Just please .. Talk to us .." Jessica can't take the pain anymore, that's why she gave-in. She looked down, as she don't want to show herself to Soojung that she's crying. She don't want to be weak for her, at this situation.

When the younger girl heard every word, that slipped from her sister's lips, she slowly turned her head to look at her - eyeing her, for a moment."Anything?"

Jessica shot her head up, when she heard her sister finally spoke. Her breathing became fast, staring at her sister's blank face. She wiped the tears using her hand, while nodding."Yes, Soojung. Anything - I will do anything. Just tell me, what happened to you. What is bothering you."

Blinking her eyes, Krystal stared at her sister for a second."Then, can I have a favor?"

She slightly curled her eyebrows in curiosity; it was confusing her, but nevertheless, she nodded."Yes, anything. You are my sister. I will do it. What is it, Soojung?" 



 

Krystal sighed."I want Amber. I want to be with her, unnie."
