Her reaction was actually amusing! - well, at least for me..

You see, after I finished talking, blabbering about my plans for tonight, her response.. Well, she actually didn't respond, but she just stared at me for a few minutes, and her face was like: You're ing kidding me, right?

I tried to suppress my laughter as I watched her expressionless face, but when time goes by, it already seems uncomfortable. Thankfully, Victoria reminded us - of course, by the means of shouting, to pack our things. Soojung was brought back to reality because of that. "A-ah.. W-wh.. I-i.." She was struggling to say something, but in the end no words slipped into . I found it cute, actually.

I smiled, showing off my eye smile as I did so. "Okay.. Okay, Soojung. I can't  understand what're you trying to say but we have to go. Time is running." I didn't give her a chance to open again, cause I grabbed her wrist and pulled ourselves up.

She was ecstatic, honestly. I could see the happiness on her smile as we were preparing our things to leave the dance studio. I couldn't help but to crack a smile, also. I am glad that I'm making her happy, even just for the tiniest things.

"Amber, I will just head home first so that I can prepare. Then I will go to your place, okay?" She said, before we parted ways.

"Sounds cool for me, Soojung. I want you to dress comfortably, okay. Uhm, casual is great. I just want you to be comfortable tonight, okay?" And of course, she didn't fail to make me smile because of her blush on her cheeks. And, after that we parted ways.

And now, I'm just waiting for her to come. I am just wearing a black leather jacket with a v-neck t-shirt inside; baggy but slightly tight blue jeans and my Adidas sneakers - simple but elegant .

Ding Dong..

I took one last glance at the mirror, before walking out from the bathroom to open the front door. "Hi, Amber!" She greeted with a smile plastered on her face, as I swung the door open.

Speaking of simplicity, Soojung was wearing a pink blazer and a white vest inside; a simple tight blue jeans; a crossbow bag that was hanged over her shoulder and a pink Vans trainers.

But the most beautiful thing that caught my eyes, was her hair - it was pulled up into a ponytail, and it made her so pretty, honestly. I admit I was fascinated.

"Gorgeous.."

"U-uhm.. Thank you, Amber.."

"Huh?" I didn't realize that I thought it out loud. "Oh.. Your welcome!"

Then silence. Suddenly, it went all awkward after that. "You too, Amber.."

Dumbfounded, I asked. "Huh? What about me?"

"I mean.. " She lowered her head, avoiding my eyes again."You're beautiful and handsome.." She whispered. Seeing her blush made me smile again.

I bit my lower lip, before looking at my wristwatch. "Let's go? I still have so many places to go together with you.."

She looked up and smiled. "Okay! I'm so excited, Amber!" I chuckled before locking the door and left.

The night with her was actually wonderful! While I was driving using my car to our first destination, she couldn't stop saying about how excited she is - I mean, I admit, I was also excited because it's been a long time that I had fun, because of our busy schedules.

Our first stop, was Trickeye Museum at Mopo-go. I already went there together with my friends, and I thought that maybe, Soojung  would like to visit there and I was totally right! She actually enjoyed it!

We didn't put our disguises on since it was weekend and it wasn't crowded earlier. 

We were like kids, especially Soojung, every time she would try to take a picture on some paintings that would caught her eyes or amazes her - and of course, I would just follow her lead and take some pictures of her.

"I never saw you this happy before, Soojung." I suddenly told her, while she was admiring the painting that was in front of us.

Her eyes blinked. The corner of her lips curved into a small smile - a sad one, I could tell. Then she didn't, answer me. She just walked away, instead.

Iwas confused. I didn't know, if I told her something bad. It was all true. She was really happy, from the moment I told her that I wanted to take her out - I can see it through her eyes.

She stopped on her tracks, and then turned around to look at me with a sweet smile - it was already genuine. "Come on, Amber! I'm hungry. Ddudongie wanted to eat!" That moment, I knew that she was back at herself again - of being happy.

Our second destination was Apgujeong Rodeo Street at Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu. Since we know, that people were packed on weekends, that time we already wore our disguises,  that both of us wearing a cap and a mask.

We ended up eating in an Italian restaurant, since she told me that she was craving for pasta and Tiramisu.

During our dinner, we kept on talking about our visit at Trickeye Museum - about how much we enjoyed staying there; how amusing those painting are, and etc; and sometimes I would about her actions when we were  there and of course, she would just slap me by the arm or worse glared at me.

It was a fun dinner, indeed. "So,  what's our last destination?" She asked, while we were ready to leave the place.

"I want to go to Namsan Park, Soojung."

5 years of living in Seoul, South Korea, I never got a chance to go to N Seoul tower or Namsan Park, and I told her that. I didn't know, maybe because of being an idol? Busy schedules and other stuff..

And now, here inside the cable car with just the two of us, witnessing the beauty of Seoul..

I was surprised that she didn't laugh at me. "Omo! Hyung! Chincha?! Aigoo.."

"Aigoo.. Amber-unnie.. Such a poor llama.."

"Chincha, daebak Hyung!!"

Those were the few responses I got when I told Luna and Sulli about that thing. Instead of suggesting to accompany me to go there, instead I got those answers!

Sulli even said, that it was daebak.. Come on, what was daebak on that?

But it was different when it comes to Soojung. "I know that.. I was actually planning before to go there with you, since you told me before that you never got a chance to go there. Now it's your chance!" She said with a smile.

I look at her. She was beside me, staring outside the window, also the admiring the scenery. Again, I remember the good deeds she did for me for the past 5 years. "Thank you, Soojung."

She turned her head and looked at me. She was bewildered, but then, it faded and smiled at me. "Your welcome, Amber. If you want to come here again, I would always be free to go with you."

"Really?" I asked, surprised. "Even if you're busy or tired?" She answered with a nod, before looking back at the window.

I couldn't help but to wonder - why is she doing this? "Then, why didn't you ask me before if you really want to accompany me to come here?"

She didn't answer. She lowered her head a bit, releasing a sigh. I tried to read her eyes, even though she's not looking at me, and I was shocked with a mix of curiosity when I saw her eyes are glowing of pure sadness. "Because, every time you have a free schedule, you would always spend it with.. Jessica-unnie."

My eyes blinked. Honestly, I didn't know what to say - I am speechless. Hearing her name once again, after a year and a half made my heart twitch for a second. It is also surprising that it has no effect on me - well I admit just a bit, but it doesn't already concern me at all.

But, what surprised me the most is this sudden feeling that I am having. I didn't know, but I feel so sad when I see her like that. All of a sudden, I have this feeling to protect her - to comfort her - to made her happy..

And lastly, all of a sudden, I have this strong urge to.. Kiss her..

I didn't know what happened to me, but suddenly I kissed her temple. And when, she turned her head, I didn't  notice that I already kissed her nose, and her left cheek. She was stunned of my action, and either do I.

"This is the final stop of Namsan cable car. I hope you enjoy the trip and please come again, soon. Good evening."





















 

When we left at Namsan Park, and even right now as we're already on our way to her house - neither of us spoke. I didn't dare to look at her, because I am afraid  at her reaction. But somehow, I admit it felt.. Amazing - the kiss, I meant.

"Here we are.." I started, before turning the engine off. I glanced at her, and she seemed to shake herself out of daze.

And silence.

The awkward tension is already building up, and it kind of uncomfortable. "U-uhm.. I-I have to go.. I think mom and dad is already waiting for me." She said, not looking at me.

I nodded, releasing an awkward laugh. "O-okay.. Good night."

She smiled, and nodded. She was about to open the door, but she looked back at me. "What is it, Soojung? Did you forget something?"

Instead of words, she suddenly lean forward placing a hand on my left cheek as she placed a long kiss on my other cheek. Then, she leaned back and, I felt her thumb brushing against my cheek, smiling at me. "I really enjoyed the night, Amber. Thank you.. Good night and sweet dreams." And with that, she hastily stepped out, not forgetting to close the car door, leaving me utterly shocked.

As it all registered in my mind, suddenly, I thought.. Is it wrong, that I did that?

Maybe some of you miss our Jessica already.. But, unfortunately she will not appear on the later chapters, YET.. But,  of course she's also part of the story, so all of you have to wait.. :)
