PREVIEW: Kim Hyo Jin's Pov

I was walking down the street on my way home after school alone because my best friend Han Soo Mi just abandoned me for meeting a guy she chatted on the internet. I was reading a book which i held on my hand and the title reads " How to cook the tastiest chicken in just 10mins.' My mouth starts to water just by reading the tltle of the book.

I was so engrossed in the book until someone threw a stone at the back of my head. I wish i can kill whoever it is who threw it. I turned back and stared with my blazing fiery eyes at the 2 unruly boys standing before me. I recognised their faces, aren't they the ones in our neighbourhood who called themselves "The three musketeers"?? But why are they missing 1 of them.

"My boss ordered me to snatch... i mean steal...ouch. WHAT?" One of them said to me but he got punched in the stomach by his fellow musketeer.

"My boss said it is to borrow a book from you. OH. I think it is the book you are carrying now in your hands right? i think the title is... is... "Chicken is the tastiest if you cook in just 10mins"  that!!!! YES THAT!!!! ", he said.

I don't know, they looked like they was joking so i turned my body back and continue my way home.

"You !" One of them proceed to pull my ponytail and i screamed in agony.

"Pleaseeeee, our boss will kill us if i didnt get this book by today." the slightly kinder musketeer begged me.

"STOP RIGHT THERE both of you. Don't you dare touch my wife!!!" another guy came and bellowed at them, it looks like he came to rescue me.

But wait? Did he say "my wife?" I AM HIS WIFEEEEE???

"We're sorry boss, we didn't bully your wife on purpose" one of them said.

Then, both of them realised something was wrong and the two musketeers said in unison with their mouth agape in shock.,"WHAT did you say!? Your wife??" They started giving me weird glances.

"Both of you go to headquaters no. 3 NOWW before i dismiss your title." their 'boss' said.

The 2 musketeers scurried in the north east direction of the town and was no where to be seen in just a few seconds.

I flickered my eyelids and stared at that man standing infront of me. He was posing? That man released his index finger and his thumb and place them below his chin. eww... but some how he looked familiar to me. I think i saw him before. OH RIGHT. His poster is everywhere in the street because he was famous for being the head musketeer in the neighbourhood. I looked at him, he was still looking at me with his silly smile.

Aren't I suppose to confront him for allegedly calling me his wife? "Who are you to call me your wife? Can't you see  that i am still a innocent pure nerdy young childish schooling college girl? Excuse me i am not married, and neither does i have a boyfriend yet. I am really grateful that you saved me but please do not call anyone on the street your wife. Lesson learnt? Ok BYE!"

I strutted quickly down the street. Please don't call me, please don't call me....

Suddenly he blocked my path and gave me a serious look. " My name is Onew, Lee Jin ki. How can you forget me!!!!!!!! We used to play together when we were a kid. Our home town is Gwangmyeong remember?and yes, we love to eat chicken together too! And did you forget our promise? HOW COULD YOU? you said that you will always remember it!!! i heard that you just moved in to our neighbourhood and i am so jubilant!", he kept on blabber non stop.

How does this guy know my hometown? and i think i did used to eat chicken together with a boy last time.... Don't tell me it is really him...PROMISE? what promise...

-Flashback-

When onew and i were 6 years old,

In a chicken shop~

"Ahjumma!! Give us more chicken!!!" Onew called out.

"Wait! Onew... i don't have enough money already...", I said anxiously.

Onew touched his pocket to realise he only left with 2000 won. He pouted. Awww~ kiddy onew pouting, i can't stand it, so i suggest we combine our remaining money to buy 1 more fried chicken drumstick.

"Since we share our money, let's share this last drumstick together!!!" Onew said happily. So we happily ate our last drumstick together.

Onew said incoherently with his mouth filled with chicken," I don't usually like to share chicken with anyone else... but today i did with you. So from now onwards let's be best friend together!!!! let's come here often to eat our favourite chicken!!!"

I blushed because i didn't have anyone wanting to be my best friend yet. "I....ok... PINKY PROMISE?" I said.

"PINKY PROMISE!!!", Onew smiled and i could see some chicken stuck in between his teeth.

"Awwww.... such a cute couple here. Onew... you are only 6 years old and you already know how to pick up a girl huh? Both of you look like a perfect kiddy husband and wife kekeke" shop owner ahjumma laughed.

Why does ahjumma always like to make fun of us whenever we come here. I was so embarrassed that i could not lift up my head to look at onew.

 "Hahaha. Ahjumma you really think we makes a perfect fit? I thought i am the only one who thought of that!!!" Onew chortled.

END of flashback~

WHAT!!!! so this is how i end up being his "wife'? It's been 13 years ago.

'Sorry... I... d..on.'t.. remember any of this. I think you have caught the wrong person." I said to onew while looking at the floor beneath me.

"You are lying because i can sense it." Onew said.

All of a sudden, a group of highschool girls walked past us giggling as they each held a chicken coupon in their hands. "Let's go there and eat! I heard they are having 30% discount there!!" the girls giggled.

Onew and I stared at them as they walked past us, and we shouted almost in sync, "CHICKEN!!"
