“Boss, it’s me…Junho.” He said in a whisper.

“Ah, Milky Way’s very own Junho. What do I have the pleasure to talk to you about?”

“I would like to make a request.”

“….That’s odd. You ask for something like this. What is your wish?” the boss on the other end asked, impatience in his tone.

“Will you grant it? Can you promise me?”

“It depends on what it is. What is your wish, boy?”

Junho gripped the phone and sighed deeply. “Please, can we drop the mission…Let’s not assassinate Nichkhun.”

The other end paused in a while. Junho could hear a hiss of fury. “What did you just say?” he said through gritted teeth.

“Let’s…not assassinate him.”

“LEE JUNHO. HOW DARE YOU DEFY ME! YOUR LIFE IS IN MY HANDS.”

Junho winced at his boss’s cold tone. “But what if something happened? What if we couldn’t kill him? And if we did, it would lead to huge trouble…maybe even an internal war.”

“What are you talking about? Are you threatening me?” the other end seemed to be on the verge of losing it.

“Ani…I’m just saying what if when we kill him, it would disastrous.” He trailed off and looked out the window.

Flashback

“Hold on girls, I need to hand something to the teacher,” Junho yelled as he jogged to the teachers’ office. He slid open the door, but no one seemed to be there. Usually all the teachers were chatting away or too busy grading papers. Apparently not today.

“Huh, must be a coffee break or something.” Junho shrugged it off and walked to his teacher’s desk by the window, tossing his papers on it.

He turned to leave, but something caught his attention outside.

“Khunnie~!” A girl called out below, near the school’s entrance. Junho slowly turned around to find the famous “Khunnie” and a girl conversing. By the looks of it, they looked like an item. Junho crossed his arms and leaned against the window frame. Something about that voice seemed familiar.

Nichkhun smiled and wrapped his arm around her. The girl, in return, turned her head towards him and gave her a giant smile before pecking his cheek. Junho was lost in his thoughts while staring down at him. Something about her seemed strangely…familiar. He tapped his chin, thinking hard about it.

“JUNHO HURRY UP!” Jessica was already getting impatient. “COMING!” he yelled back and turned back out the window, but the couple was already gone.

“That’s weird. I’m sure I know her from somewhere…” he scratched his head. “Eh, probably just a stranger,” he didn’t give another glance before exiting the room. He also hadn’t told the girls about that time.

“Well Junho? I’m waiting…” the boss was getting agitated.
