( 31st December)

The night was here which half of the students were waiting eagerly, the night of the event and New year eve. You also knew but being the lazy human being you are, couldn't get up from your comfy bed, and definitely not when you were watching your favorite Kdrama.

After that day, you were worried about the video getting viral but to your surprise, it was disappeared from the blog. You were a little confused by this but still were relieved and thankful to whoever did it. Lauren wasn't seen anywhere near to you or Baekhyun or his friends which you were having a thought if your little warning had worked or there was something else behind. 

Jae went back to Scotland for his training Job but not before joining with Daniel and Ria about teasing you with Baekhyun which you were surprised as how your both brothers have liked him instantly after meeting him only once.

Suddenly, the door of your room burst opened revealing your mom and Ria who was already ready for the party. The off-shoulder red dress fitted perfectly on her figure with high heels which clicked as she walked in wirh her curled up hair bouncing. 

All you could say was amazing.

Ignoring your lying figure on the bed, they straight went to your wardrobe and started searching for something. 

Frowning, you instantly sat up and stared at them confused. "What are you two doing?"

"Looking for a dress for you to wear tonight." Your mom replied not even glancing at you before she fished out a black dress and showed it to Ria with a smile.

"Go change into this." She held out the dress to you and instead of taking it, you looked at your bestfriend behind her. "I said, I'll think about it."

"Yeah, and I said you will go." She smiled mischievously and you narrowed your eyes at her, realizing that was her plan before looking at your mom.

"Mum, you know I don't go to parties."

"I know, but you're going tonight. Look y/n, I don't mind you being lying here all day but sometimes you should go out and enjoy and make memories." She spoke and you immediately thought of Baekhyun as he also said the same words. 

"Not to mention, even your bed wants you to leave it for a while." She added sighing.

"My bed loves me."

"Okay, whatever, get up before I kick you out."

You smiled confidently. "You won't do that."

"Then, no Wi-Fi." She placed her hands on her hips and you frowned. "Mum!"

Taking the dress with a grumpy face, you made your way to the bathroom. "Am I adopted or what?"

Your mom didn't even denied which caused you look at her in disbelief before Daniel came in laughing. "I told you, you are."

"Shut up before I tell mom about Jieun." You threatened showing your big eyes and his cheeks turned pink instantly.

"Who is Jieun?" Ria asked confused.

"You got a girlfriend?" Your mom asked him casually and he immediately shook his head stuttering before walking out.

You were laughing at his face but stopped when you noticed your mom's expression saying 'why are you still standing here', and with that you went to the washroom not before slapping your bestfriend for dragging you into this.

"It's done."

You opened your eyes to see your reflection in the mirror and gasped at how much different you looked but in a good way. Standing up, you eyed yourself up to down, wearing a black fullsleeved, knee-length dress with heels while you had three braids on one side, where you put all hair on your one shoulder with your makeup, which was done perfect for your liking.

"Y/n, you look gorgeous." Ria breathed out staring at you amazed and you smiled looking at her through the mirror.

"Baekhyun Sunbae's mind gonna blow off." She muttered smiling being the biggest shipper she was of you two. You gave a confused look as you couldn't catch what she said before your mom stepped in. 

"OMG!" 

She exclaimed spun you around by your shoulder to look at you properly while smiling brightly. 

"Mum, I'm not going on a date. Why are you staring at me like that?" 

"I know, but I hope you find a date for yourself." She smiled squishing your cheeks. 

"Sorry to disappoint you but that's not gonna happen." 

"Expected answer, but you look really beautiful." 

"Thank you." 

Going downstairs, you spotted your dad in the living room seated on the couch as his attention was on the TV but soon he turned to you when he saw you.

"Who are you? What did you do to my daughter?" Your dad joked faking a gasp and you shook your head smiling at him.

"Okay! You'll get late now go!"

Your mum shooed you both towards the front door before making you both girls wore a coat since it's cold outside.

"Have fun!

"Not too much fun!"

You both arrived at your college and you were in awe to see your college looked so amazing in the night with the lightning. You straight were to gym hall where the event was organized and when you stepped in, you were shook on your spot to see the decorations.

The lights were dim blue and there was a big stage in the center where some students were gathered around. Looking around you spotted Baekhyun with his friends laughing. 

He was wearing a black jeans paired up with black turtleneck and a black jacket where a silver chain was hanging around his neck while his hair were styled upwards showing his forehead giving him the badboy look.

"Done checking him out?"

You snapped out turning towards your bestfriend who was smirking and your cheeks heat up embarrassed.

"I wasn't." You looked away taking off your coat and that's when she nudged you to follow her gaze to see Baekhyun approaching you while walking like a model.

Ugh..I really need to snap out.

Just as Baekhyun stood in front you, his smile faded as an amaze expression appeared on his face. He has always seen you without makeup or dressed up and always found you beautiful but seeing you all dressed up, his mind stopped working.

You felt heat rushing to your face by the way he was staring at you but then Ria cleared and he snapped out.

"You look really beautiful." His words were out softly before he could think and you were red as strawberry but thanks to the dim light it wasn't apparent.

He realized what he said and immediately changed the subject as he chuckled. "You made it."
