Chapter 3
Rhythm InsideCHAEYEON
“Hey! Lee Chaeyeon!”
I turn around to look at the person who shamelessly shouted my name and saw a running duck. I rolled my eyes at her, “What is it this time, Choi?” I asked her before walking again.
She looks at me before grinning, “Chaewon saw you last night.” I raised my eyebrow at her, waiting for her to continue whatever she has to say, “You’re with a girl in which I assume to be your fiancée.” Oh right, Chaewon's living in the same building with Eunbi.
I’m thinking of denying it but then I realized there’s no point of denying it anyway. They are going to meet her sooner or later so instead of telling her no, I just gave her a nod confirming what she assumed.
She looked at me with wide eyes, “So you met her?”
“Yeah, I met her last night.”
“I thought you don’t know when you'll meet her!”
I nodded, “Yeah,” we stopped in front of our room, “I was about to go home when my Dad messaged me to meet them then happened.”
She gave me a small nod before taking our seat, “Anyway, we have a deal.” I furrowed my eyebrows before looking at her. I honestly don’t remember any deal I made with this dumb duck. She sighed before looking at me, “You don’t remember it, don’t you?”
I gave her a nod, “You know how forgetful I am sometimes.”
“Yeah, but let me correct you, its most of the time.” she says nodding her head, “Anyways, you agreed on bringing your fiancée on our beach escapade.”
I looked at her, “Are you serious?” she only gave me a nod and a smirk. Ugh, how can I forget that? I mean, I got no problem bringing Eunbi there but I’m worried about her because my friends tend to be just really dumb, especially this duck.
After our class the whole afternoon, I went straight to Seoul University to pick up Eunbi. I messaged her last night that instead of just meeting I would just go and pick her up. I actually don’t have any plan for us to do tonight. I’ll just pray for this night to go smoothly. When I reached her school, I went down on my car for her to see me easier and just stood beside it waiting for her. I looked at my phone checking if she sends me any message but seeing none, I just keep on looking around hoping to take a glimpse of my fiancée.
I honestly have short patience so after 10 minutes of waiting, I just decided to go and look for her. This campus is really big just like our university, having no idea of where she is I just decided to go to the cafeteria trying my luck.
I was busy looking around when I heard my name being called, “Chaeyeon!” so I looked at where that voice came from, “Come here!” I let out a small smile seeing that adorable girl waving at me.
When I reached their table, she’s seated with her friends, they all looked at me with curiosity, “Hi, I’m Lee Chaeyeon.” I introduced myself.
“Chaeyeon?” I turn around to see that person who called me, “Why are you here?”
She walks towards we before engulfing me into a hug, “Uhm I actually,” I looked at Eunbi who’s looking at us confusedly so I quickly pull out from the hug, “I’m here to pick up Eunbi.”
Minju then looked at Eunbi, “You know her?”
Eunbi nodded, “Yes, she’s my fiancée.” I almost smile when I heard that tiny bit of jealousy lacing her words.
Minju glanced at me, “I thought you’re in a relationship with Sakura?”
I scoffed hearing that name, “She cheated on me.” I can feel Eunbi’s eyes staring at me, “So, I ended things with her.” I said.
She nodded, “Where’s Chaewon, anyway? Aren’t you with her?”
“Nah, I told you I came here for Eunbi.” She rolled her eyes at me before smiling, “You can just text her. Stop being a coward, Minju.”
“Hyewon said the same thing.”
“We’re going to the beach on our term break.”
“Hyewon told me about it.” She says with
