Joohyun watched their training attentively, even though she had absolutely no idea what they were doing. She only knew Joy and Seulgi always passed the ball to Seungwan and Seungwan would hit the ball to the next court, she assumed Seungwan was the player who in charged of attacking, meanwhile Seulgi and Joy were assisting her.

They were playing badminton among themselves. Seungwan loved sports, not that she was really great to be a representative of a team but her skill was better as compared to the rest of them. Seungwan exercised constantly, hence better stamina. She wanted to continue but seeing her friends panting so hard, so she decided to take it break. There were a group of boys playing in the same court, approaching them to asked or a match.

Seungwan arched up her eyebrow at the sudden invitation, figured they must be interested in one of them. Joy and Seulgi declined it politely, as they were still panting from the exercise they just did. Seungwan originally didn't have much interest toward boys, and now with their clear intention, she was even more displeased to even talk to them, but she needed to be polite, so she turned to Joohyun and asked, "Do you want to play with them?"

Joohyun shrugged, "I don't mind."

Seungwan was hoping Joohyun to say no, because Joohyun wasn't that kind of person who would readily accept stranger's invitation.

Seungwan shifted her gaze back to the boys, squeezed a smile, "Sure."

Before the match, Seungwan knew they were gonna lose to the boys anyway, since their skill was definitely not as good as them. But, the dynamics between them was visible during the match. Seungwan would remain at the back, while Joohyun would get the badminton in the front. Joy and Seulgi watched as the match was carried out. Even though Seungwan and Joohyun was losing, Seulgi exclaimed about the teamwork between the two.

"Did they play together before? How come their teamwork is so dynamic?"

Joy replied nothing to that, though acknowledging the dynamic.

Of course, Seungwan felt it too and she wondered if Joohyun felt what she felt too.

A badminton was landed in the middle of the court, both of them being too competitive, wanting to get the badminton themselves. Seungwan ended up hitting Joohyun's head by her racket.

The badminton ended up dropping on the court as Seungwan retrieved the racket immediately.

She rushed forward to check Joohyun's head.

", are you okay? Does it hurt?" Seungwan tiptoed to check any injuries in Joohyun's head.

"I'm fine, Seungwan." Joohyun assured Seungwan while Seungwan was busy ruffling Joohyun's hair to inspect clearly.

Joohyun lifted her head up, insisted she was absolultely fine. Instead, Joohyun's gesture caused her head to hit Seungwan's jaw. Both of them hissed at the pain, Joohyun rubbed her head to ease the pain while Seungwan rubbed her jaw. When their eyes met each other, they couldn't help but burst out laughing.

The pain vanished while they laughed.

They were too fixated in their own world, the surrounding around them just faded away.

Watching Seungwan being immersed in playing volleyball, jumping high from the ground and smacked the ball hard to the other side, her pride was all shown in her face with a proud smile. She felt like she was getting closer to the new Seungwan, learning that Seungwan found a new habit in these two years, though she couldn't help but to yearn to participate in the past two chapters of Seungwan's life.

Despite Wendy was physically focused on her training, she was mentally distracted as she was busy stealing glances toward her own cheerleader who was there to watch her playing volleyball. She noticed Joohyun would smirk whenever Joy or Seulgi passed the ball to her, assisting for the attack. When the ball hit the ground, Joohyun would acknowledge it by nodding her head with a proud smile.

Having someone to support her while she was playing, even though it was just a practice, she was more energetic than usual.

Less mistakes were made, her attacks were more precise.

Despite her usual good stamina, Wendy was unstoppable, she wasn't even panting after 30 minutes of practice.

This didn't go unnoticed by Seulgi and Joy. They secretly thanked the sudden appearance of Wendy's cheerleader, confirming Joohyun's compulsory attendance to the upcoming competition.

Finally, it was already 6.30pm, the co-captain ended the training, not forget to praise Wendy for her performance today.

"Woah, Wendy, great job today, you were unstoppable."

"Nah, I can do better." Wendy being humble as usual, waving her hand to dimiss the praise.

"We all know the reason why." Joy teased with a smirk, tilted her head to direct the gaze to Wendy's seated cheerleader.

Wendy ignored her, pulling her towel from bag, started to wipe her sweats. She, then, turned around to walk toward her cheerleader.

"Why are you here?" She asked Irene with a fond smile, though she already knew the answer.

As Seungwan was walking toward Joohyun, she stood up from her seat and walked toward Seungwan. She heard Seungwan's question, knowing Seungwan already told her about her schedule, she was dying to say "I miss you". 

The three words could wait when they were alone. 

"I had nothing to do, and I wanted to see you guys practise." Joohyun shrugged to be nonchalant, but her gaze gave it away.

"How are you going back?" Wendy asked.

"I can take the bus." Joohyun knew Seungwan was worried, not forgetting to praise Seungwan's performance, "You were great today, even though I had no idea what you guys were doing."

"Nah, it was nothing, it was just a practice anyway." Wendy dismissed it again, but with a shy smile.

Wendy was delightedly proud to herself for some reasons, maybe it was given by Irene, only Wendy knew.

"No! You did great!" Joohyun scrunched her eyebrows while hearing that from Wendy, clearly a bit upset at Seungwan's reaction.

"Ok, woah, I did great, I am so proud for myself." Wendy raised her fists up to mock a celebratory action. She slightly widened her eyes and squeezed a smile wide enough to see her teeth.

Joohyun rolled her eyes at Seungwan's fake enthusiasm, hitting Seungwan's arm with a grin on her face.

"I can't hit them, can I?'

"You.... You betrayer!"

Wendy recalled the memory where they spent time with Joohyun's uncles in her uncle's house.

Joohyun noticed the lack of response from Seungwan, got worried of her strength might hurt Seungwan.

"Did I hit too hard?" Joohyun quickly reached out to the area she hit, hoping it would soothe the pain.

Wendy was pulled back to reality, quickly responded, "N-no, it's just that I recalled something just now, when you hit me in the arm."

"What did you recall?"

"We were in your uncle's house, we were laughing at something, but you slapped me in my arm."

Joohyun smiled while reminiscing the memory. She filled in the lacking details.

"You guys were teasing me, I couldn't fight back, because there were three of you." Joohyun pouted while recalling that.

Watching Joohyun's iris slightly dilated while she was reminiscing, her eyebrows arched up following the dilation, and then the soothing melody was created along with Joohyun's whining, her lips ing out as she pouted. Seungwan thought it was really mesmerising, keeping the comment to herself. She chuckled at the cuteness.

This old information was something new to Wendy, but something more was added.

Wendy's phone was ringing,

"6.40pm : Caller: Devil Yerm"

Wendy picked up the phone, "What do you want?"

"My friend asked me for dinner later, she will fetch me back or I will crash on her house if it's too late, don't wait for me." Yerim's voice screeched through the phone.

Joohyun overheard it, she didn't wanna to overhear it, just that Seungwan's phone volume was set to a high volume. It was inevitable to hear it since they were standing quite close together.

Her ears perked up involuntarily after hearing that wonderful news, her heart couldn't contain the excitement. It meant they could have dinner together, hoping just the two of them, they could have a proper talk after the kiss. She saw Seulgi and Joy waving her over, hence she walked away to give Seungwan privacy.

"Do you have the key with you?" Wendy asked Yerim as she got one with her now.

"Yup, you have someone to have dinner with you?" Yerim asked as she felt bad to call off their date suddenly.

Wendy looked toward Irene who was talking to Seulgi and Joy now. She was, indeed, very pleased to hear Yerim to cancel their plan.

She drew back her attention and answered, "Yup, of course."

"Okay, bye."

"Okay, be careful." Wendy was always naggy to ask Yerim to be cautious for her safety.

"Mmmm" Yerim hummed and ended the call.

When Wendy walked toward them, Irene just found out they were having dinner with their family, as a couple.

"I'm very nervous, unnie, what if Joy's parents don't like me." Seulgi exclaimed, forming fists with both hands.

Joy cooed her girlfriend, "They will not. I only told them good things about you."

"Joy, it's different. You are in love with me. Now, I have to talk to them in person. God, what if they hate me in the first sight?" The bear started to voice out her irrational fears, her eyebrows crinkled together.

"I think the person whom I fall into wouldn't be that disapproving to my family." Joy turned her girlfriend to face her, and used her finger to away the crease on her girlfriend's eyebrow.

"Seulgi, I think Joy is right, you two will be fine, don't worry too much, be yourself." Joohyun chimed in, assuring the anxious bear.

"I believed Joy's taste, though you were unbearable, sometimes." Wendy said that while walking toward them.

Seulgi rolled her eyes at her best friend's peculiar way to show her support and deadpanned.

"Woah, thanks for that, really helpful."

"Don't worry about it, you seemed like you needed it." Wendy shrugged with a smirk.

The couple, then, left the other two alone, as they still went back to the dorm for shower and their dinner was at 8pm.

"So, I guess you heard it, where are we having dinner?" Wendy gathered her belongings, she was still extremely sweaty after the training.

"Any craving?" Joohyun couldn't particularly think of any now.

"First, mind if I go home and shower? I couldn't stand my body being this sweaty." Wendy gestured her whole body. 

They, then, walked to the changing room as Seungwan wanted to change the sweaty cloth before entering the car. 

Joohyun, on the other hand, waited outside. She recalled back that one incident when she first drove to Seungwan's house to pick Seungwan up for dinner.

"Where were you? Are you lost?" Seungwan quickly asked when she accepted the
