Tons of Luck
Paraproia
Months passed and everything was getting warmer. The ice has slowly melted. Jessica focused on her work as she should, Krystal did some solo traveling after some counseling sessions with the psychologist and surprisingly it made her feel better, and me? I'm still the manager Kim, working hard day-to-day. I was sitting on the corner of a coffee shop that night, was looking straight to nothing, letting my mind floating away uncontrollably. I really enjoyed the silence there. I was sitting alone on the second floor when most of the visitors were come and go quickly as it was getting late already. I kept on enjoying the moment when I smell that familiar fragrance and its warm voice near to my ears.
"I love you..."
I turned back and smiled.
"How could you find me here?"
"You are so rude. You know that, Kim Manager?"
"And why is that?"
"I told you I love you, you didn't even reply that. Ugh!" She pouted.
I grinned. How can I not?
"I thought you knew..."
"What?"
"That I love you more than words."
"SURE I KNOW!" She turned to be energetic now.
"Now you haven't replied mine."
"Oh. I asked Seohyun! I couldn't find you at the office."
"You were looking for me? Why didn't text m...."
"YAH! Check it by yourself. I couldn't reach you." She cut it all the way. I knew there was something wrong.
"Sica, I'm sorry. I forgot. The battery died."
"As usual..."
"I'm sorry." I smiled a little.
She came closer and sat beside me while my hair.
"This gonna be a tough week for you, babe..."
"Yeah..." I smiled again. "There are some changes we need to prepare recently. But I really don't wanna talk about it now."
"Why?"
"Because I miss you. I miss... us."
Jessica looked a bit shock but then smiled a little.
"Baby I'm sorry..."
"I got it. You needed time. We are all busy. Not your fault."
"I feel like I made you involve to my problems... a little deeper than it should be."
"Please don't say that."
"But that's true."
"The thing is I'm happy. I'm here for you, anytime."
"I'm so lucky to have you..."
"Sica, I just miss you... a lot."
I felt like I wanted to cry, without any proper reason. I just miss it to be with her closely -physically lately. I was so weak, even too weak to admit that I needed my girlfriend so I could lean on her too. I'm too weak to admit that I could be... a weak person too. But with everything happened, again... I feel like I have such an obligation to keep her away for a while, giving her space so that she could spare her time more to take care of Krystal.
Jessica suddenly handed me a white envelop, the one I see every day since it has the logo of the company I work for.
"What is this?" I received it.
"That's an approval letter to take a sudden casual leave from Mr. Hwang."
"How could you???"
"That's a secret." She posed while smirking cutely.
"Sica... But..."
"A-a! No but! We're going to have good days soon. Right after your latest project done! Hang on, babe..."
"Jung Soo Yeon-ah..."
"Yahhh why did you call me that?"
I laughed. Lord, I love her so much.
"Kim Taeyeon-ah..."
"Hah?"
"Please give me a chance to be a good girlfriend for you this time. Let's spend our 2 weeks to travel like you always want to do. Let's be together, and run away from these all. Will you go with me, please?"
"Even if you asked me to spend 2 weeks just to lock down ourselves in your apartment, I would say yes."
"Hahaha... Why would you think I'd do it."
"Anywhere with you, Sica. I just wanna be with you at this point."
"So, does the coffee you drink right now taste so bitter?"
"Why? Eh?"
"I would like to taste it if so cause that was too sweet, your mouth, Kim Taeyeon-ah!"
"You're blushing. That's so cute." I really wanted to kiss, if it's not because we were in a cafe.
"Make sure to pack yourself, then."
"Where will we go? Busan? Jeju?"
"Aniyo..."
"Hmmm?"
"Let's go home, Tae... It's getting a bit too la
