Ending Scene
Paraproia
I woke up from my sleep with some kind of dizziness. I heard the bell ring and immediately stood closer to the door while holding my aching head.
"Good morning, Taeyeon!" The tall young woman stood in front of me. "How's your condition? I worried. I rang a bell this morning but you didn't budge. I thought you're dead."
"Hi, Sue... I'm good, not dead yet, I guess." We chuckled a little. "What time is it?"
"1 PM."
"What? I slept that long?"
"Yeah... I guess so. However, I passed by to give you some food and medicine. When you were sleeping, you complained about how the headache hits you every day. Does it really hurt?"
"Yeah... Please come and eat together."
"Sure."
Sue is a friendly person. Even though she's 5 years younger than me, when I talked to her I could see that she has that maturity in her personality. She's also a funny one. She opened up a lot about her life, her family and also threw me a lot of questions like a tourist. Well, she is. After finished the lunch, she insisted to wash all the plates by herself and asked me to take medicine and rest.
She walked near to the window then looked around a shelf there.
"Taeyeon..."
"Yeah?" I replied but didn't look at her. I was busy with my phone as I haven't informed my secretary that I had to take a sudden sick leave.
"Is this Jessica? She's so beautiful."
I dropped my phone and stared at her deeply. She pointed to a frame over the table.
"How do you know?"
"I'm just guessing. I don't know."
"I mean, how do you know about Jessica?"
"Oh. Pardon me..." She put back the frame. "I heard that from you when you sleep. Last night you were delirious loud enough and occasionally said that name. Jessica. Sica. I'm sorry I didn't mean to..."
"Did I?"
"Yeah, you did."
"Ah ya. Got it. No worries about that."
Later my focus switched to my phone back. There was a call from Tiffany.
"Hello..."
"WHAT? HOW COME?"
"Have you called the emergency?"
"Okay... Please remain calm for now."
"Which hospital you're going to?"
"Okay. I'll be there soon."
"Don't worry. Everything's gonna be okay."
"Don't cry... Be strong... Hey..."
"I'll be there soon."
"What happened?" Sue questioned me.
"I have to go now. To the hospital. This is urgent."
"Oh. Sure. Are you okay?"
"I am. It's my friend. She needs me."
I hurried to go and reached the car key on the table.
"OH NO. ." I murmured.
"What's wrong?"
"I forgot... I got an accident last night. My car is being repaired now."
"Let me take you? I rent a car to accompany me here in Seoul."
"Okay. Let's go, Sue."
"Sure. Just guide me."
I arrived shortly and rushed to the receptionist, asking where did they put Mr. Hwang. Tiffany told me she found her father unconsciously lied on the floor. She was too scared while explaining the situation but what she knew was his body was cold when she touched him. She's too afraid that she might lose him, the way she lost her mother too. Received the information, followed by Sue, I walked faster to the ICU room.
I saw Tiffany was talking to a doctor. Even from behind, I could see that she was trembling.
I moved closer to tap her shoulder. She turned her face back while crying out loud.
She sobbed while covered her mouth. I didn't understand what was happening, or about what I should do. She looked at me softly, but in a few seconds, her eyes widened at the figure beside me. They fell silent staring at each other.
"Sooyoung..."
"Tiffany..."
"What are you doing here in Seoul?"
"I didn't know you're here as well."
What on earth. Sue is Sooyoung? I mean, that must b
