I was nothing special
But thanks to the breakup you gave me
I became the main character
in a sad love story
In this sad love story

It's March again. A month passed since then, and I never seen her anymore, not even a bit. I came back as who I am, before meeting her, the woman in white. That was also marked a month since my voicemail message sent to Tiffany, but I got no reply at all. I talked to Seohyun at the office but then decided not to interfere with this father-daughter relationship cause I believe it was a private thing, and since I wasn't close enough to Tiffany, I don't have any right to do anything about it.

I walked around in the Gangnam area that night to relieve the fatigue. Alone and starving. I looked at the servant of the Chinese restaurant I used to eat there so many times. She looked at me warmly, welcoming me, but then I smiled back just to give her a sign that I wasn't going to eat there. Not tonight, or maybe never again. I tighten my coat as the weather was getting colder. I walked faster to reach a Sujebi restaurant nearby.

"Annyeonghaseo... Welcome to our restaurant!"

I smiled warmly to the servant then followed her to go to the seat prepared. She handed me the menu book which I selected 1-2 menus from it and handed the book back to the young girl with a red ribbon on her hair. Her smiling eyes kinda reminded me of Tiffany.

"Is there anything you want to order?"
"No. But does the guy name Kai still working here?"
"Kai?"
"I mean, Kim Jongin."
"Oh! Jongin!" She looked back, checking on something. "I think his shift time is over."
"Oh... Okay."
"But he's still here. Do you want to meet him? Are you his friend?"
"Yes, please. Just tell him Taeyeon wants to meet."
"Sure!"
"And also, please make the menu double. I will have dinner with a friend."

I sat for around 10 minutes, playing with my phone. I opened Instagram, finally after a while. I scrolled the timeline I passed by and gave some likes to the closest ones. With a little reluctance in me that beaten by the curiosity I searched for her name. I couldn't find anything. Did she deactivate her account? I tried once again, I thought I might do a typo, but I couldn't find her at all. I stopped then closed it, letting my mind floating away. It was a bad idea to actually find out.

Kai came to my seat. She looked skinnier than the last time I met him.
"Taeyeon noona? Are you looking for me?"
"Yes. Sit please. Let's have dinner together."
"Uhh... But I work here... I can't..."
"I'm the guest, and you have to serve me then." I smiled warmly.
"Okay if you say so."

He looked more comfortable then. Later we started to eat and talked.
"So, Kai. How are you here?"
"I'm doing good. Why are you here?"
"To eat. To find somebody to talk." I smiled.
"Why didn't you ask Jessica unnie?"
"We're no longer together..."
"What do you mean? Did you break up wi-"
"Did I break up with her? Yes."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about that. I guess she's happier now, with Taylor Kwon." I smiled a little, tried to hold the pain inside. "I walked around here and wondering what to eat, and who to accompany. Then I remember about you."
"Taylor hyung? What happened?"
"Let's just eat and not talking about him at all."
"You can always ask me for dinner. But maybe not here, cause it's quite expensive."

We shared laughter. It was somehow funny to hear from a rich kid who grew up in the US like him, but since that's the life he chose to live on, I should pay him respect and not mentioning about his past life. I just couldn't get it how he would like to sacrifice everything for someone he loves. I was a bit curious to know how's his relationship with Krystal in the end, but I decided to just keep the conversation casually.

"My father wanted me to come back home, to the US. He's sick."
"You're going to do it?"
"I think I will." He looked at me deeply. "I can't ru

Chapter 44: Finally finished reading this! It's such a great story.. i love that you wrote Sica's side of the story in one of the chapters and it made things clearer.. there was a time i felt frustrated on taeyeon, even on jessica on the first part of the story.. they both made mistakes, tried to move on, but eventually find their way to be together..

Thank you for writing this author! Looking forward for more of your works! ^^

Chapter 44: I'm soooooo glad taengsic ended up together (AS THEY SHOULD). I also happy that you put a detailed context in 1-2 chapters that Taeng helped Sica to heal her wound first before both could completely reconnect their long-lost-love-story.. Thanks for writing this. See u on the next one(s)!!! (:
