Random thought#1 - It's actually my first time the other day that I decided to google the English translation of SNSD's Baby Baby. I don't know if this is a bad translation or something but I freaking lol'ed on this one. The first two lines of the chorus really cracked me up. lololololol

It has been two weeks passed since my last date with my girlfriend, Jessica, our sixth monthiversary specifically. We were supposed to see each other during the weekdays but they always get canceled. There are actually three reasons why...

One: it's because of mine, Sooyoung and Yuri's encounter of the stranger who wants to kill the latter

Two: it's because Jessica has been busy herself due to family affairs

Three: it's also because I am not yet 'fully equipped' for the... you know

Anyway, it's a late afternoon on Saturday. Jessica and I decided to meet, finally, at our favorite park.

She's already there when I arrived. She has one of the picnic tables there set up with food. One major change on her, I guess, is her hair. She changed it from blonde to brown. Yes, here I go again, spazzing over how pretty she is in brown hair. She can pull off any hairstyle and hair color perfectly, really.

I sighed deeply. I am falling more and more into her... with or without change.

As soon as she saw me, she jumped from her seat and ran towards me. She threw me a hug which I almost lost my balance. Then, she kissed me all over my face and finally on the lips. "I miss you so much, Taengoo."

"I miss you so much too."

She settled her arms wrapped around my neck. I held her on the waist. She looked at me, pouting, "I'm sorry I've been very busy at home."

"No, no. It's okay. I've been busy too."

She looked down, "You know... Ever since we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend, it's like we fell apart."

I chuckled, "What are you talking about? We constantly have phone calls at night."

"But, still, we're not seeing each other!"

I kissed her pouty lips. "You are just being paranoid, my sweet love. This happens in relationships, okay? We can't exactly be together all the time."

She then looked and smirked at me mischievously, "Will you look at that? My Taengoo baby sounded soooooo matured. You're grown up now."

I chuckled, "Yah. You're making it sound like I am the immature one between the two of us."

She suddenly got mad and slapped me on the chest. "Hmf!" She stomped her way back to the table.

"See? Now, who's being cute, huh?" I asked and she didn't respond. She pouted her lips in return. I went to take a seat next to her. I hugged her from the side. "Tell me, Sica, who is constantly whining and whining about why we don't see each other all the time since the start of summer?"

"Sounds like you never wanted to be with me at all!"

"What? What makes you say that?"

"This is our first summer together and you've been ignoring me. I am still mad that you had us spent our sixth monthsary here in the park. And now, you still insisted for us to meet here? AGAIN?"

I chuckled, "Now, you're mad at me because I always want our date to be here in the park... Why do I feel like you're mad at me for everything?"

"Shut up!"

"You always complain and complain why we're always here and yet, whenever we see each other here, you seem to be fine with it. Look at you now. You even set up a picnic here." I took a dumpling and ate it.  "Wow. This tastes so good."

"What do you expect me to do then? To not prepare anything on our dates?!"

"It's not like that... It's just that.." I chuckled then kissed her on the cheek, "...I kind of find it inconsistent."

"First, you call me immature. Then, you call me whiney. Now, inconsistent?!"

"I didn't say those were bad things. I find it cute, actually. So cute I want to bite you."

"Hmf."

"Okay, come on. Tell me, what are you really mad about."

"I feel like you don't..." She lowered her head. "You don't make an effort for me anymore."

"I'm sorry if you feel that way... It's just that..."
 
"It's just that what? You don't know how dating works again?"

"No. It's just that you are an hour early for our date today."

She then glared at me, "Great. Now, it's my fault." Then, she said in a sarcastic tone. "I am so sorry Mister Kim Taeyeon. I didn't mean to rain on your parade that I decided to be a responsible girlfriend and be early on our date today."

I sighed deeply. "That's not what I meant. You are just too early that I didn't get to set up my surprise for you."

"You are just saying that but the reality is, you don't really have a surprise for me!"

"Okay." I broke away from hugging her. "You got me. I really have no surprise."

I sent a message to the crew I hired and after a few moments, they have arrived and started to fix up the place. I rented a large white pavilion gazebo and have its poles decorated with light pink balloons and laces. I also rented a violinist and he has started to play romantic and slow music.

Jessica looked so astonished on what is she witnessing. Her cheeks blushed profoundly. One of my crew handed me the large bouquet of pink tulips that I bought. "For you, my sweet love." I said as I forwarded the bouquet to my girlfriend.

"T-Taeyeon, I-- I don't know what to say--"

"I think the words 'I love you' will be enough?"

She smiled warmly. "I love you so much, Taengoo."

"I love you so much too." I stood up and offered my hand. "Would you like to dance, my Sooyeon?"

She giggled first then accepted my hand. The violinist then started to play a slow version of the song 'Baby Baby' by the new rookie girl group, Girls' Generation. We cherished our dance as we whispered sweet nothings to each other. I softly sang along with the music too. With that, though, Jessica has showered me nothing but soft kisses as she enjoyed listening to me.

Afterwards, we headed back to our table and ate the food she prepared. Well... I gotta say, at least, Sica's good on making dumplings. But, for the other dishes? Errr.... the sandwich is also good. And she's pretty. I think that's enough.

"So..." she smiled at me mysteriously. "Notice a change on me?"

"Hmmmm... Did you pluck your eyebrows?"

"No! Silly. I am serious."

I chuckled, "You dyed your hair brown. I see."

"So? Do you like it?"

"I do. Actually, I wouldn't mind if you want to go bald or something. I will still fall for you more and more." 

"Aissshh..." she pinched my nose. "You are really sooooo cheesy!~~"

"It's the truth, okay."

"Anyway, what happened with you for the past two weeks?" she asked. "You didn't really share anything during our phone calls."

"Who do you think is at fault with that?"

She looked at me boringly, "What now?"

"Whenever I'm about to start on my story, you always sneak in your frustration about your dad and your half-sister, Krystal-noona. Those topics kind of consumes two hours of our talk, you know."

"Yah! They are really, really frustrating, okay! I never actually thought that my dad would want us to go for a summer outing somewhere out of the country and even with Krystal-unnie too! Oh. He's also the one to blame why I am in brown hair now. He hated the blonde me, as what he said, and even threatened to cut my hair short if I didn't dye it back to a darker color. And, you know what that Krystal-unnie told me?! She said I looked like a clown with my blonde hair! Arrrghhhh- both of them are so annoying!"

"Yup. I know they are really both annoying as you always share on our nightly calls."
