Chaeyoung looked outside at their van watching the lazy fall of snow as Christmas is now just around the corner for everyone to celebrate. She sighed sadly knowing that she can’t spend it with her own family but…

A warm hand touched hers and she quickly looked at the source who was giving her a small smile filled with encouragement.

“I’m really excited for you to finally meet my family…and even spend Christmas with us!” Jisoo said giddily that Chaeyoung even forgot her own sadness momentarily to smile back at her just as excitedly

“Yeah…I get to finally meet your whole family!” Chaeyoung exclaimed but then her face turned nervous

“B-but wait! Will they like me?” Chaeyoung said worriedly

Jisoo laughed and nuzzled her face to the crook of Chaeyoung’s neck “You’ll be fine Chaeyoungie…you’ve met most of them before, just not in a complete way.” Chaeyoung visibly calmed down and closed her eyes to take in Jisoo’s overall warmth and comfort to her nervous beating heart. It’s time like this that she really loves Jisoo to be around her at all times, especially in her darkest days.

After a moment of comfort and feeling Chaeyoung relax under her touch, she leaned away to give her a reassuring smile and a pat on Chaeyoung’s cheek

“And let me just say to you…that they absolutely adore you. More than you know”

“Chaeyoung dear!”

Jisoo watched in amusement watching her mom launch herself to Chaeyoung as if she was her own daughter instead of well…her

“Um mom, real daughter just standing beside here” Jisoo said jokingly but her eyes crinkled in happiness seeing the bashful look of her love and the sweet blush painted on her face.

“Let me just finish hugging Chaeyoung first” Her own mother grinned mischievously at first and the girls heard a chuckle from behind them

“Leave it to your mom to hug Chaeyoung first instead of her own daughter” Jisoo’s father smiled widely seeing his youngest and opened his arms wide

“Come here you big baby”

Jisoo rolled her eyes but went ahead and hugged her dad tightly, feeling the sense of home invading her feelings. It’s times like this which made her miss the simple life before she went famous along with the girls.

“Yah, I’m the unnie in our group you know” Jisoo pouted and her dad bonked her nose lightly in affection

“Yet you aren’t acting like one” he said in amusement

“Uhm…Mrs. Kim” Chaeyoung whispered as she was still in the warm hold of Jisoo’s mother

“Yes dear?” Mrs. Kim said and her own husband replied to help Chaeyoung’s predicament.

“You can let go of her now and hug your real daughter”

“Oh alright” Chaeyoung felt Mrs. Kim let go of her but sporting a pout pretty similar to her own daughter which made Chaeyoung finally relax and let out a small smile. She watched Jisoo hugged her own mother and she could see the happiness and love radiating off from the family as Chaeyoung let out a thought

“Looks like I will be able to enjoy Christmas after all…”

Night came in quick and Chaesoo is just finishing taking out their clothes from their luggage. They spent the whole day catching and apparently Jisoo’s siblings will arrive soon for dinner and will stay until the day after Christmas.

Which leaves Chaeyoung having to share a room with Jisoo since her siblings will be occupying their old bedrooms with their respective partners plus family on her sister’s side.

“Thank you really unnie, for agreeing to let me sleep at your room.” Chaeyoung said quietly before looking down sadly “I didn’t want to be a burden by occupying your sibling’s room especially since they’re arriving soon.”

Jisoo quickly walked up to her and placed an arm around her in an attempt to comfort the younger girl “Aw Chaeyoungie, you know you’re always welcome to sleep with me”

Chaeyoung snapped her head at her unnie with wide eyes, mouth open in shock, and a blush blooming on her face

“W-What?”

Jisoo was also startled at the action before quickly realizing what she said as she stuttered “I-I mean sleep next to me in the same bed! Y-you know like we always do when we were trainees up to now?”

Chaeyoung blinked before laughing out loud due to her unnie’s red face and waving hands as she tried to explain what she meant in an innocent way

“Yah stop laughing!” Jisoo pouted

Chaeyoung did stop but her giggles still came out from and that’s when Jisoo lunged at her playfully

“Stop it Chaeyoungie!”

“Yah unnie! You’re the one who tackled me to your bed!”

Jisoo shrieked and giggled when Chaeyoung’s hands went sneaky and decided to tickle her at her sides.

“YAH PARK CHAEYOUNG!”
 

Chaeyoung giggled and replied playfully “I’ll accept you calling me that since you’re older than me”

Jisoo can’t stop yelping and laughing from Chaeyoung’s insistent hands before she finally had the strength to grab her wrists and pin them above Chaeyoung’s head. She took a deep breath and released it with a puff of relief

“Wow unnie, you’re quite strong” Chaeyoung let out a breathy laugh but stayed in her position as her unnie recomposed herself

“That’s what you get for assaulting me” Jisoo chuckled and looked at her with mirth in her eyes

“I’m sorry~” Chaeyoung pouted and gave her the sad puppy dog eyes

Jisoo kept on chuckling before finally realizing their…improper position. When her family sees this, she is sure to take picture of their comical expression, especially her dad.

“Um unnie?”

Jisoo snapped out of her thoughts and realized her grip on Chaeyoung’s wrists is still tight and the trapped girl is looking at her questioningly

“Yes Chaeyoungie?”

Chaeyoung averted her eyes from Jisoo’s sudden piercing eyes “Umm…you can let go of me now? I promise not to tickle you.”

Jisoo giggled and leaned her face closer making Chaeyoung gulp at the close proximity and the ache in her head is starting to make itself known.

“W-why do I feel like this happened before?”

“Do you remember our game?” Jisoo smiled “Our game of kissing?”

Chaeyoung blushed profusely “I-I uh”

Jisoo kissed her nose, lingering it there and relishing the warm blush that she felt from the younger girl. Her effect on the main vocalist is still clearly seen blindly in front of her.

“Do you want a rematch?” Jisoo smirked and Chaeyoung finally looked at her stunned

“Wow unnie…”

Jisoo watched Chaeyoung’s shy nature morphed into a bolder one, her eyes narrowed ily and her lips quirking up.

“You’re getting braver lately…”

Jisoo chuckled at the younger girl, getting quite used of her ever-changing moods because of the pill. Her eyes crinkled with mischievousness and whispered

“You should know by now…” Jisoo whispered to Chaeyoung’s lips

“That I’m serious with my feelings”

Chaeyoung expected a passionate kiss from the way Jisoo spoke to her but her narrowed eyes slowly widens when Jisoo gave her a very soft and delicate kiss that sent shivers through her spine feeling the sweet curve of Jisoo’s lips.

They stayed in that position for a while and Jisoo pulled away with a soft smile and seeing Chaeyoung’s mood returning to her earlier one.

“Unnie…”

Jisoo didn’t let go of her smile and finally let go of Chaeyoung’s wrists to cup her cheeks “You make me feel so many things Chaeyoung…” She husked out and Chaeyoung shivered again from the soft touch

“So many things…”

Jisoo narrowed eyes filled with love and desire met Chaeyoung’s warm eyes, she could see the conflict within it and decided to reassure her

“It will be alright Chaeyoungie…” Jisoo watched the conflict in her eyes slowly calm down as she continues to soothe her

“It will be alright…I’m here, I’ll be your shield.”

Arms wrapped around Jisoo’s waist and gently pushed her towards the preparator. Jisoo smiled and closed her eyes, enjoying the warm hug of the younger and feeling her heart beat in synch with hers.

“Jichu…” Chaeyoung whispered “I…”

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

“Jisoo honey? Chaeyoung dear? Dinner is ready, your siblings are already downstairs.”

Jisoo wants to curse the God of timing but alas, the excitement of seeing her siblings as well as their children slowly rise up to her body. She relished Chaeyoung’s hug for a moment before finally feeling Chaeyoung release her arms around her.

“We’re on our way mom!”

Chaeyoung smiled watching Jisoo stand up and a giddy smile on her face. The older girl turned to her and offered her hand

“Shall we?” Jisoo grinned cheekily and Chaeyoung could hear herself giggling at her dorky unnie as she accepted the offered hand with grace and a grin of her own.

“We shall”

“Dalgomie!”

Chaeyoung watched with a smile seeing Jisoo finally reunite with her dog after her brother decided to take him to the veterinary clinic as he is feeling sick the past few days.

“How are you, my son?” Jisoo cooed at her dog who just barked happily at her and kept on her face.

“Wow, Dalgom must have really missed you for him to kiss you like that” Jisoo’s brother, Kim Jung Hun,

“Shut up” Jisoo said and not looking at her brother to hug her son

Looks like Dalgom is more important than her own sibling

Chaeyoung giggled and bowed to Jisoo’s siblings “Good evening, I hope I’m not intruding to your family dinner and traditions.” She said respectfully

Jung Hun and Jisoo’s sister, Ji-yoon, laughed lightly at her as Ji-yoon gave Chaeyoung a warm and tight hug

“You know you’re always welcome here Chaeyoung” She smiled

“Yeah, we’re excited to get to know you better especially since Christmas is a special tradition for families to spend, and you are family to us for you have taken care of our sister very much” Jung Hun said with a smile

Chaeyoung got a bit teary-eyed at that and just smiled widely in response and could only say

“Thank you for such a warm welcome”

 After a hearty dinner, the family decided to finally start decorating the house since Christmas is just around the corner.

Chaeyoung blinked, eyes going to the standing Jisoo’s eyes since she was sitting at the living room looking through their family album. Her hand reached up on what is put on her head and felt warm cotton, a smile quirking in her lips seeing Jisoo wearing a santa hat.

“What is this for?” Chaeyoung said lightly, her own santa hat that Jisoo has put on her head

Jisoo grinned widely and gestured her own family who are starting to wear their own santa hat as she exclaimed

“It’s time for decorations!”

The whole family cheered and Chaeyoung was a bit taken aback seeing just how lively and cheery this family is; it was so infectious that Chaeyoung closed the family album and stood up with a wide smile of her own.

“Let’s do this!” She said excitedly

Jisoo opened up their Bluetooth speaker and called Chaeyoung “Hey Chaeyoungie, connect your phone and play some Christmas music to start” She smiled, having full faith on Chaeyoung’s playlist.

“Yeah Chaeyoung!” Ji-yoon exclaimed “I heard from my sister over here that you got a great taste in music”

Chaeyoung blushed shyly before walking over and opening her phone. Her eyes blinked slightly in surprise that Jisoo came up to her wondering what made her stop.

“What’s wrong Chaeyoungie?”

“It’s just that…Jennie-unnie texted me.”

Jisoo slightly narrowed her eyes and glimpsed at Chaeyoung’s phone

My Wifey: Chaeyoung-ah…can you call?

Chaeyoung looks worried, that’s one thing that Jisoo noticed and she has an inkling feeling that it’s because Jennie texted it in a way that spelled trouble.

“I’ll be right back unnie…” Chaeyoung mumbled, smiling at the family before hastily walking at a vacant hallway.

“Well,” Jung Hun said “We should clean up first before we decorate” He grinned and the family immediately cheered and started cleaning up first whereas Jisoo looked at the hallway where Chaeyoung is right now.

“So…” Ji-yoon suddenly popped up beside her with a raised eyebrow “When are you going to tell the family about your not-so obvious feelings to a girl that is a member of your band no less?”

Jisoo dropped in shock, looking at her sister with wide eyes

“W-What?!”

She shrieked so loud that the family turned to them with curious eyes

“Is there something the matter Jisoo?” Mrs. Kim said worriedly

“Is your sister bullying you again?” Mr. Kim chuckled

Ji-yoon smirked mischievously, something very similar on how Jisoo smirks as well

“Our little baby girl has something to tell us while a certain someone is busy” Ji-yoon winked at Jisoo who was stuttering nonsense with her cheeks so red that the whole family immediately knows what it’s all about since Jisoo is not the one who loses her composure.

“Who is it?!” Mr. Kim yelled dramatically in which Mrs. Kim hit him with her pyongbong

“Should I ready my brother talk?” Jung Hun teased and took in great enjoyment at the rare red face of her baby sister.

Jisoo groaned and covered her flaming face with her hands, knowing that she has to tell them or else they will grill her with Chaeyoung later.

“So, it goes like this…”

Chaeyoung ringed Jennie and at the first ring, Jennie immediately answered; her breathing a bit shaky but if Chaeyoung could hear more…

She can hear relief as well

“C-Chaeyoung-ah” Jennie smiled, her hand clutching her phone tightly

“Jennie-unnie…”

Jennie could feel her heart starts to calm down hearing the younger girl’s voice once again. It’s been a while since they talked and Jennie is really happy that Chaeyoung made time for her in Christmas Eve.

“I’m so glad you called…you don’t know how much it means to me to hear your voice right now” Jennie whispered but Chaeyoung could hear it quite well

“Did something happen my wifey?”

Jennie’s heart flutter hearing their iconic nickname to each other. Her mind and heart fighting at each other whether to tell Chaeyoung what’s really wrong with her right now.

“I…” Jennie hesitated, she couldn’t possibly ruin Chaeyoung’s Christmas when she saw Jisoo sending them pictures of her own family plus Chaeyoung having a great time with each other, followed by Lisa’s pout and then the Manoban family plus some of Lisa’s friends in one frame.

“Wifey?”

Jennie heard Chaeyoung’s sad whisper, probably sensing there’s something bothering her.          

“Hubby…” Jennie took a deep breath and whispered longingly “I just…miss you so much.”

“I do too wifey, I miss you too” Chaeyoung answered softly

Jennie finally let out a true smile and the weight in her shoulders lifted at that

“How are you doing wifey?” Chaeyoung leaned back at the wall, talking to Jennie

Jennie stiffened “I…hey Rosie…”

Chaeyoung blinked, it’s been a while since Jennie call her that nickname…

“What is it?”

“You love me, right? No matter what?” Jennie said vulnerably “If I…made a mistake? You won’t stop loving me, right?”

“Of course I love you…” Chaeyoung breathed “Not everyone’s perfect my wifey…we make mistakes because we all are flawed people. It’s just up to us to learn and overcome that flaw.”

Jennie smiled and let a tear fall down her cheek, slightly thankful that Chaeyoung can’t see it or else she might panic.

She didn’t want to ruin her Christmas after all

“Thank you hubby…I can’t wait to see you soon.” Jennie said

“Me too…” Chaeyoung smiled and gripped her phone, her heart pulsing quick at the thought of something bothering Jennie.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Chaeyoung asked worriedly

“I…” Jennie closed her eyes “I better go hubby…I’ll talk to you soon okay? I love you…so much”

Before Chaeyoung could say anything, Jennie hanged up the call. She tried to call the older girl again but it immediately went to voice message.

Chaeyoung furrowed her eyebrows and thought

“What’s wrong with you wifey…there’s something you’re not telling me”

Whatever it is, Chaeyoung better return to Jisoo’s family. She’ll find out what’s bothering Jennie after Christmas. A wave of sadness claim her heart and she could only shake her head to try and forget about it for a while.

She needs to focus on the present

Chaeyoung went back to the living room and saw Jisoo with a very red blush and her family looking at her in shock that then morphed into teasing ones though you can see the acceptance and happiness in their eyes

“I’m glad to see you don’t have a stone heart after all” Jung Hun winked

“Just don’t lock your bedroom you got it?” Mrs. Kim warned Jisoo who couldn’t possibly get any redder

“Mom!/Honey!” Jisoo yelled and Mr. Kim laughed at his wife, hugging her sideways.

“Am…I interrupting something?” Chaeyoung quietly said and all eyes turned to her making her slightly regret speaking up.

“N-no Chaeyoungie all is well!” Jisoo shakily smiled at her and her blush is beginning to recede

“Are you okay Jisoo-unnie?” Chaeyoung asked, walking towards her with concerned eyes. “You look a bit red…” Chaeyoung gently place her hand to Jisoo’s forehead

“You aren’t sick right?”

“N-No I’m not!” Jisoo exclaimed, not taking the teasing in her family’s look any long though she is secretly grateful that they accepted her

“Will you please play your playlist now and we can start decorating?” Jisoo hastily said making Ji-yoon stifle her laughter, it was once in a blue moon to see Jisoo so flustered and panicky.

“Yeah Chaeyoungie, you should play some Christmas love songs” Ji-yoon sang “I’m sure someone would appreciate it” She winked at Jisoo and began whistling out of their way to decorate the hallway.”

“She must be referring to their parents” Chaeyoung softly smiled and started playing her Christmas playlist, picking one about love

Jisoo’s parents were decorating the outside of the house while her siblings were decorating the living room and the hallway.

Jisoo has experienced the best of Christmas with her family for years, but this particular year is undoubtedly the best of them all as not only that Chaeyoung is here, but now her whole family knows about her feelings to the girl she’s standing next to me.

Jisoo hummed the song while placing Christmas balls to the tree, eyes twinkling seeing the white Christmas tree slowly being filled by black and pink Christmas balls. All that’s left is the star on top on which she can’t quite reach.

“Here, let me lift you”

Jisoo turned and saw Chaeyoung opening her arms at her with a shy grin. Jisoo grinned back and accepted Chaeyoung’s almost-hug.

Chaeyoung hugged Jisoo’s waist tightly and with a small grunt, lifted her high enough for Jisoo to reach the top and place the star

“Almost…there”

Jisoo concentrate at putting that star on top and exclaimed loudly when she finally inserted it “Alright!” She cheered and moved around

“U-unnie don’t move too much!”

Jisoo laughed and Chaeyoung managed to put her down, though their position stayed for a while as they laugh at what just happened and they panted slightly out of breath.

“This was fun” Jisoo grinned “Are you having fun as well Chaeyoungie?”

Chaeyoung’s eyes twinkled “I sure am unnie…thank you again for inviting me. At least I’m not alone and sad this Christmas” She whispered softly

“Chaeyoungie…”

Jisoo placed a palm on Chaeyoung’s cheek, it lightly “You’re always welcome here…and my heart” She smiled softly

Chaeyoung slightly teared up and touched her forehead to Jisoo’s

“Jichu…I…”

“Boo!”

Chaeyoung yelped and let go of her hold to Jisoo while Jisoo pouted at her sister who was laughing out loud

“HAHAHAHHAH You should have seen the look on your faces!” Ji-yoon laughed

“Stop it!” Jisoo shouted jokingly and Chaeyoung blushed, finally realizing their position earlier “What made you interrupt us anyways?” Jisoo rolled her eyes

Ji-yoon snickered and slang an arm around Chaeyoung’s shoulders “We’re about to take a family picture”

“Oh, let me take a picture of you all” Chaeyoung smiled kindly

Ji-yoon shook her head and gave Chaeyoung a squeeze on her shoulder “No silly, you’re with us.” Chaeyoung’s eyes slightly widen

“B-but you said it’s a family picture…?”

Ji-yoon nodded and Jung Hun also appeared beside her, apparently overhearing what they were talking about

“Yeah…and you’re part of the family Chaeyoung” Jung Hun grinned at her “Think of it also as a thank you for taking care of my little sister here even though she’s supposed to be the unnie between the four of you.”

“Yah!”

Chaeyoung giggled hearing Jisoo protest at that and grabbed Jisoo’s hand, squeezing it “It’s actually quite the opposite…Jisoo-unnie here have become my rock from way before our trainee days. When I need advice, it’s her I come to.” Chaeyoung said softly “In fact, I want to thank you all for raising such a great daughter and sibling…and now, my…”

Ji-yoon’s eyes widened and Jung Hun raised his eyebrows

Jisoo felt her heart skipped a beat and nudged Chaeyoung

“Your…what?” Jisoo whispered

Chaeyoung seemed to squint her eyes in confusion and her head even throbbed lightly

“…someone who is very dear to me” She finally finished and was finally able to feel normal again

“Someone like your first girl crush?” Ji-yoon said mischievously and that elicit a blush from Chaeyoung

“I-I yeah…s-she is” She stuttered

Jung Hun laughed and softly patted Chaeyoung’s head “Even if she did become someone more to you, just know that we all approve it” He grinned mysteriously

Chaeyoung’s mouth dropped making Jisoo punch her brother at the shoulder “Yah stop teasing her! Let’s go take the picture already” Jisoo pouted

Jung Hun chuckled and raised his hands up in surrender “Alright alright, just telling your girlfriend that we approve of you two” He teased “We’ll leave you two alone at the ferris wheel tomorrow at Everland. I’ve heard it’s a really romantic spot”

“Oppa!”

Soon, a picture of the whole family plus with red-faced Chaesoo is developed…it may be embarrassing for the two of them getting teased especially Jisoo, but Jisoo knows this is one unforgettable Christmas Eve moment ever.

“We’re here!”

Everyone watched in amazed excitement seeing the grand entrance of Everland; it’s crowded with people seeing that today is Christmas!

“Wow…”  Chaeyoung whispered in awe “I’ve heard this is one of the top attractions during Christmas in Korea; I still couldn’t believe we are here!”

Jisoo locked her arm around Chaeyoung’s and said giddily “I can’t wait to explore the park! I’ve heard they’re going to have fireworks later at night”

“Yeah…it would be amazing to see the fireworks while at the ferris wheel” Chaeyoung smiled

“So, where should we go first?” Jisoo asked her family and her father grinned excitedly

“We’re going to the Snow Busters”

“Unnie?”

Jisoo hid her blushing face by hiding her face further on Chaeyoung’s neck

“What is it Chaeyoungie?” She asked though she already knows what Chaeyoung is going to ask

“Why are we separated from your family?”

Jisoo looked over her family and saw that they are giving her teasing looks as the instructor strapped them to their float.

“They said that it’s for four people only so…”

Chaeyoung took on upon a look of realization and giggled “Oh, I get it. I just thought they don’t want to go together”

Knowing Chaeyoung’s mood, Jisoo immediately cupped Chaeyoung’s cheeks with both hands and gave the younger girl a warm smile

“They absolutely want to but you know we got to follow the rules” Jisoo said softly and Chaeyoung returned her smile

“Then…” Chaeyoung touched Jisoo’s hand on her right cheek

“I’m glad I’m taking this ride with you…it’s actually my first-time riding this.”

“Are you two lovers ready?”

An instructor came up to them with an open smile, looking like a foreigner and probably doesn’t recognize Jisoo and Chaeyoung…

There’s also a fact that the two are well covered up and with so many people in Everland, it’s hard to really keep an eye on them.

Chaeyoung blushed at the term while Jisoo chuckled, taking off her hands on Chaeyoung’s cheek and intertwining her one hand to Chaeyoung’s

“Yes, we are.”

Jisoo finally gave a glance down and gulped

“…This is safe right?”

The instructor laughed freely and finished strapping up Chaeyoung and Jisoo “it will be a blast” She winked at them before going away with a salute

“She didn’t answer my question” Jisoo gulped “This is kind of scary…”

Chaeyoung giggled “I got you Jichu…” She whispered, putting her free arm around Jisoo’s shoulder and pulling her closer. Jisoo felt Chaeyoung’s warmth and snuggled to her comfortably, sighing in contentment.

“You really got me Chaeyoungie…” Jisoo smiled in which Chaeyoung didn’t see and soon…

They were pushed off the snow hill

“AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!”

Both girls screamed as gravity did its work to pull them to the bottom of the hill. The cold wind hitting their face and if it was even possible, they held each other even closer than before.

“Yah lovebirds! We’re in public!”

Ji-yoon yelled at them as they close in with each other with Jisoo’s brother laughing hysterically at the ride and the look on Jisoo’s face

“Take a picture quick!”

“Yah stop it!” Jisoo shouted back at them before closing her eyes tightly feeling the cold wind hit them. She could feel a laugh vibrating beside her and could only just laugh along with Chaeyoung as the ride slowly dwindled down and soon, they reached the bottom.

“Well…” Chaeyoung said breathlessly and looked at Jisoo with disheveled hair but eyes shining in happiness

“That was fun!”

Jisoo finally stopped laughing and looked back at Chaeyoung with her own wide smile before it turned mischievous, grabbing a handful of snow and launching it at Chaeyoung as she pulled away from the hug.

“Yah Jichu!”

Jisoo laughed out loud and ducked when Chaeyoung tried to get revenge on her “Jeez you got bad aim” She teased, grabbing another handful of snow before unexpectedly dumping it on herself

“I should look like this Chaeyoungie!”

Chaeyoung let out a loud laughter as well “You’re so weird Jichu” She exclaimed in affection before bopping her nose playfully

Jisoo just grinned and they continued on throwing snow at each other until the instructor finally let them go. She watched them bicker and laugh as they move on to their next destination.

“They sure look good together…ah young love” The instructor shook her head with a smile before going back to her job.

“Wow”

Chaesoo looked on in amazement at the gold decorations of the Magic Garden; There’s a large Christmas Tree or also known as Tower Tree where you can say your wish for the next year. Golden lights and shimmering Christmas balls entered their eyes as a golden deer statue greeted them by the sides when they entered the large glittering star.

“It’s so beautiful” Chaeyoung muttered and scrunched her nose when snow began to softly fall from above.

Jisoo giggled and poked Chaeyoung’s nose “You look so cute Chaengie” She smiled and the grip on their intertwined hands tightened as they began to start taking pictures.

“Let’s take a selfie!” Ji-yoon exclaimed happily and soon, the whole Kim family plus Chaeyoung huddled together as Ji-yoon her front camera. They all smiled happily as the background of the Magic Garden glistened and its beauty seen from Ji-yoon’s multi shot.

“Daebak! Even if your faces are covered you two are still gorgeous” Ji-yoon rolled her eyes playfully before becking her parents and brother to give the two some pictures underneath the Tower Tree

“Some couple pictures for the two lovebirds should be a perfect shot underneath the Tower Tree” Jung Hun teased and was quite enjoying Jisoo’s pouting red face, much like when they were younger and having fun in life.

Chaeyoung laughed and just pulled Jisoo closer by the waist and laid her head at the side of Jisoo’s head, their height complements each other perfectly

“Perfect!”

A flash and soon, Ji-yoon glanced at the taken picture and could only let out a small smile filled with sincerity

“I hope you two will be the one in the end…love absolutely looks perfect on my sister” Ji-yoon returned her gaze to Chaesoo who are now closing their eyes to make a wish

“I hope you reciprocate her feelings Chaeyoung”

Chaeyoung finished her wish with a small smile “I hope Jennie-unnie is fine…and that Lisa is having fun on her own holiday back home. My family better be enjoying the holiday also….Blinks are always there for us and I’m absolutely thankful for them. I hope for more memories with them for the next year and finally…” Chaeyoung looked at Jisoo’s beautiful side profile and could only exhale a puff of cold air in awe

“I’m grateful for this girl next to me for being there for me at all times…even when I’m lonely, she just knows how to cheer me up”

Chaeyoung grabbed Jisoo’s hand who is now laying by her side and intertwined them

“I hope she finds happiness in her life because she deserves the best”

Jisoo finally finished her wish and glanced at Chaeyoung who was already looking at her with a soft smile and a bit of a flushed face

“What did you wish for?” Jisoo smiled back at her and cherished the warmth from Chaeyoung’s hold. She likes how happy she made Chaeyoung feel since they went to Jisoo’s home. She finally gets to hold her while sleeping and even spend the whole day with her with no interruptions!

It was absolutely blissful for Jisoo and she almost wants to never return back to their idol life and enjoy this feeling forever.

“I wished…” Chaeyoung’s quiet but gentle voice echoed in Jisoo’s ear “that everyone will be happy this Christmas. Our members, blinks, family, and friends”

Chaeyoung looked up at the tall Tower Tree “That’s all I ever wanted…for everyone to be happy”

Jisoo’s heart melted at the selflessness of the younger girl “How about you? Are you happy?”

Chaeyoung giggled “Of course I’m happy…” Chaeyoung cupped Jisoo’s cheek and caressed it sweetly, and if it was even possible, Jisoo’s heart would have exploded of high emotions as Chaeyoung whispered to her in such utter honesty and adoration.

“Because you’re here beside me”

Night soon came, and the whole family plus Chaeyoung are having the joy of their lives. But before they could go for dinner, the Kim family has a little plan on their sleeves…

“Doesn’t the Ferris Wheel look nice right sis?” Jung Hun nudged Ji-yoon who nodded with enthusiasm

“Yeah! It would be really romantic don’t you think bro?”

“I bet Jisoo here would love to ride in one” Jung Hun smirked while their parents laughed quietly at their youngest’s blush on her cheeks, hiding further to Chaeyoung’s embrace since she’s being hugged by the younger girl ever since she started shivering abit from the cold.

“I bet it’s warm there too”

Jisoo doesn’t know whether to be happy that they’re so supportive or be embarrassed for being so oblivious.

Jisoo felt Chaeyoung lean away a bit for her to see the chipmunk smile at her warmly

“You want to go there?” Chaeyoung asked

Jisoo beamed “Yeah!”

Chaeyoung then tilted her head and said “Oh yeah! We were supposed to have dinner right now” She frowned, worried that they might take a while.

“No, it’s fine dear” Mrs. Kim smiled at them warmly “We’ll just wait for you at the exit and maybe buy some souvenirs for the house so you should enjoy your time here.”

Jisoo squeezed Chaeyoung’s hand and gave her a nod of encouragement with a smile filled with adoration in which Chaeyoung returned with her own.

“Let’s go then Jichu”

Soon, a guide was guiding them towards their own cart and closed the door securely. Jisoo laughed a bit seeing her gush about them, probably recognizing the two girls.

“Chaesoo hwaiting!”

Jisoo could actually hear the parted words of the guide before she closed the door. Jisoo shook her head in amusement and gave the girl a winning smile which probably made her blush tomato red.

“You’re really beautiful unnie”

Chaeyoung whispered, can’t help but rain Jisoo with sincere compliments. Really, it’s like hanging out with an angel and Chaeyoung can’t help but be magnetized towards her.

Jisoo giggled, of all the people who called her that so many times, Chaeyoung’s version is her most favorite.

“You make me feel beautiful Chaengie”

Jisoo snuggled with Chaeyoung and together, stared in awe and contentment at their surroundings. It was so beautiful; seeing all those Christmas decorations come to life and the stars above twinkling at the birth of Christ. Laughs and smiles can be seen all over the place that made everyone realize…

That in life, happiness can still be attained no matter what your status are. Whether you’re an idol or an average person, happiness can still find its way to you. Christmas is one of those holidays that made everyone be excited and spend the day or even week with their loved ones

“My loved one…”

Jisoo thought and leaned back until her face is a few inches from Chaeyoung

“Unnie?”

“Chaeyoung…”

Jisoo exhaled, a small puff of cold air escaping from and grazing Chaeyoung’s lips.

“I could never be thankful enough on how you spend this holiday with me…with my family. You got to know them personally as they see how gold of a heart you are and how you took care me as Blackpink” Jisoo took a deep breath

“They saw how happy you have made me feel and they also saw a side of me where no person could ever believe they see me in…”

Jisoo opened her eyes, not knowing she closed them as she started speaking. Her eyes immediately gazed at the deep brown eyes filled with warm emotions that made her heart skip a beat or two.

“They saw me in love…”

Chaeyoung’s eyes widen in a slight fraction

“Jichu…who you were in love with?”

Jisoo chuckled exasperatedly, couldn’t believe if the Mood Pill is making Chaeyoung denser than a brick or she’s just that slow.

“Chaengie…it’s y-“

A loud sound interrupted them and they looked forward seeing fireworks in display for them. Timingly, they were also at the highest altitude of the Ferris Wheel which made the explosion of colors more visible to your eyes.

“Wow…”

Jisoo looked at Chaeyoung’s amazed face, and with a leap of courage;

Grabbed her chipmunk cheeks gently and softly kissed Chaeyoung at the lips

The kiss was just like the fireworks outside; exploding in passion and love that Jisoo has for the younger girl. The kiss made them shiver and closed their eyes in contentment and warmth; that warmth entered their hearts and spread all over them making them sigh in pleasure.

Jisoo let go of the kiss with a tearful smile; that feeling…she would never forget how Chaeyoung responded so readily and filled with emotions the same as hers.

Jisoo knew at that moment, she has truly fallen for the girl.

“I just need this Mood Pill to just go away…and maybe just maybe I’ll believe what I felt during that kiss”

Jisoo is a cautious person unlike Jennie and Lisa; she threads her feelings carefully and observed Chaeyoung as each mood passes by. She is still protecting her heart but at the same time…she is only opening them to Chaeyoung only. Jisoo knew feelings can’t lie, and they appear through our eyes and actions.

So Jisoo knew Chaeyoung is feeling something for her as well

It just takes a matter of time until…

Jisoo shook her head and let out a small soft smile as she bought out something from her pocket.

“Jichu?”

Chaeyoung looked confused as Jisoo opened Chaeyoung’s palm and placed something small. Chaeyoung looked down and her heart melted seeing a small chipmunk keychain wearing a santa hat.

“It reminded me of you” Jisoo said sheepishly “I never would have thought I will see a store selling a chipmunk Christmas version but hey,”

“It looks cute right?”

Chaeyoung giggled and nodded, inspecting the keychain with admiration. She turned the back and saw the word ‘Chaesoo’

“Our ship name…” Chaeyoung’s eyes teared up and hugged the keychain tightly making Jisoo somehow get a bit teary at how she appreciated such small gift.

“Oh Jichu…I never got you anything” Chaeyoung looked at Jisoo tearfully but Jisoo knows it’s from gratitude.

Jisoo kissed Chaeyoung’s forehead and felt the Ferris Wheel going down now meaning that their time is almost up.

“No worries Chaengie…”

Jisoo hugged Chaeyoung tightly and placed a palm on Chaeyoung’s chest where her heart is beating quite rapidly

“All I want for Christmas…is you”

Happy Holidays everyone! It is so timing that I posted this chapter in Christmas. I want to update by New Year also but we'll see if I can have the time to do so. Expect a short chapter on New Year nonetheless, I'll make it a priority along with a chapter on my other story. Thank you all for your never-ending support and I am so happy that we have come so far in this story. A few more moods left and we're done! Time flies so fast huh.
