"Subin" Jaehwan called as Subin walked out the school gate.   "Jaehwan hyungnim?" Subin said. He didn't expect Jaehwan, of all the people, would talk to him all of a sudden.   Jaehwan gave him a smile.
"I need to ask you a favour. Can we grab something to eat and talk?"  Jaehwan asked.   "Favour?" Subin started pointing a finger at himself.
"From me?"   "Don't freak out" Jaehwan said laughing a little.
"You'd even love doing it."   Subin smiled nervously. he didn't even know what to think of the whole thing.     "First, let's go to a coffee shop, shall we?" Jaehwan said as he gestured Subin to follow him.        
They were seated in a coffee shop.  
"So, how is your grades going?" Jaehwan asked, putting both elbows on the table.   "Well, I don't know. I would say it's not too bad. I am still in the third position. I would just get one or two marks short everytime and fail climb up to the second position. Its really frustratinng." Subin said sipping on his coffee after. "I just hope I don't get down to 4th rank when the mini-exam results come out"     Too much sidetracked. Jaehwan thought.   "So, I heard that you are like the only guy in your class that Nancy properly talks to," Jaehwan said.     "What?" Subin asked, a little embarrassed. "Who told you that?"     "I just heard. I just wanted to confirm if that is true." Jaehwan replied.   Subin laughed awkwardly.
"It's just.. Its just, Nancy and I have been lab partners a couple of times. And I am like, one of the very few guys that haven't proposed to her in our class. So, I think she is comfortable with me because she thinks that I don't have a crush on her." "And maybe, she talks to me sometimes because I am smart?" Subin added.     "So, you do have a crush on her, right?" Jaehwan asked.   "I don't know," Subin said, looking away.   "really? You don't know?" Jaehwan pushed.   "God! alright, I do. Can we please now talk about the favour you wanted from me instead of making me all embarrassed here?     "I am getting to it," Jaehwan said. "So, I want you to make her fall for you. And I am going to help you do that."     Subin laughed out loud at that. "You've got a magic love potion or something? I mean, really, she has rejected all the handsome and cute guys I know. how the hell is she gonna like me?" Subin asked.
"why do you even need me to do that?"     "You gotta know the trick if you really want a girl. Looks aren't everything a girl is after. It won't be that hard to get Nancy to like you. For instance, do you like chocolates?" Jaehwan asked.   "I don't hate chocolates."   "Great, so, the trick is, you never propose a girl you like. you make her like you a little first." "You can tell Nancy that you love chocolates and pretend you didn't know she likes chocolates. And then, you bring  chocolate bars of different flavours to school every day and share that with her. All you have to do is make it look friendly. This is how you get closer to a girl. Pretend you like everything she likes. She'll eventually start to actually like you."     Subin listened very carefully.     "You mean, I just walk up to her and say ' hey Nancy, i love chocolates. I brought chocolates. try this new flavour with me?' That sounds so wrong on so many levels to me, not to mention ridiculous." Subin air quoted.     "don't worry about that. I have already planned a conducive setting for you to say those things to her." Right after the mini-exam results are out, I am making you guys stay at your class after school for group studies. groups of two. And I will pair you two up."     "How exactly are you going to make that happen?"     "Subin na, you have no idea what I am capable of doing in this school. All I have to do is talk to your teacher." Jaehwan replied with a smirk.     "Can you now tell me why I need to do all this? I mean what is in it for you? Why are you doing this?"     "I just want to distract her. Just consider this a good luck for you. And its not always wise to question good luck, right? I will consider you're in for this.
