The sight of the children blowing bubbles, teenagers playing at the game stalls and couples roaming around the carnival also, having their own dates.

"You took me to the right place." Yoona had a wide grin on her face, while Taecyeon smiled proudly.

"Want to try some games?"

She nodded willingly. "Sure!"

Yoona took his hand as she ran towards the row of stalls, while Taecyeon merely stumbled as the herculean dragged him. They played some games along the way while Taecyeon couldn't help but to marvel at Yoona's cute participation. After a while, they came across a popular stall which was the "High Striker".  It operates by utilizing the lever where one end holds a puck attached to the tower and the other end is struck by the person or contestant using a hammer or mallet.   

"Welcome to the High Striker! Just step right up! Test your strength! And we'll see who is the strongest among the gentlemen!"

The Operator announced as he did a demonstration towards the audience to entice their attention. Dozens of gentlemen lined up along the queue, just to impress the ladies how strong they were.

"Taecyeon! Why don't you join?" Yoona asked him in curiosity.

He flinched as he stared at her in confusion. "What? I'm a Protector not a Hercules."

"The winner will receive this prize for the ladies!" the Operator held out a cute, giant teddy bear which caught the most attention for the ladies. Now, they urged the gentlemen to give it to their fullest and hesitantly agreed.

"Look at that cute teddy bear Taec! Aww~ Just do it for me please?" Yoona's pout just drove him crazy.

Hesitantly, he nodded. "Okay, okay..."

Yoona clapped as she looked at Taecyeon, who was dragging his feet towards the queue. Taecyeon sighed and stared at the other men who stepped right up to the striker and boasted their own strength. He smirked when none of the gentlemen in front of him, haven't hit the bell successfully. As he stepped right in front, the Operator snapped a finger as he recognized the Soldier.

"Oh, look what we have here my audience! It's Ok Taecyeon, the Soldier of the Solitaire!" he announced as the others whispered to each other in excitement.

"Well, show them what you have got my boy. I guess someone will hit the bell right now."

Taecyeon awkwardly grinned at the Operator and the audience. He took a deep breath before he took the hammer. Yoona observed him closely behind as she clasped her fingers. Come on Taec... she prayed that he would hit the bell in one shot. Taecyeon had already been sweating profusely as he looked up to spot the bell. Oh, god it's too high. Depending on luck, he got ready as he raised the hammer high. The audience fell silent as they watched him. Taecyeon swung the hammer down with an immense force as he closed his eyes, praying that the bell would ring. The puck rose up high in a jiffy but eventually, he didn't managed to hit the bell as it dropped back down. Damn it...

"My, my. What a shame it is..." the Operator shook his head. The gentlemen broke out in laughter while they ladies crossed their arms, blankly staring at Taecyeon. Taecyeon felt a heavy feeling inside of him as he broke his first impression, just like that. With his ears turning red, he didn't move as he was stood rooted to the ground.

"YAH!" Everyone stopped and turned to the woman who rushed to Taecyeon's side. Their mouths fell open as they stared at the royal majesty. The Operator and the gentlemen nervously trembled. Yoona turned to face the Operator.

"Excuse me. May I try?" she asked.

He nodded anxiously. "S-S-Sure your highness..."

She grabbed the hammer in her hand and hit the base effortlessly. The puck shot right up and hit the bell, as it rang successfully. She looked up and smiled in triumph. The audience had their mouths open and stood in a daze. The Operator handed her the toy, still astounded. Taecyeon blinked as he dazed at her, when she held his hand.

"Thank you. And please, don't underestimate our Soldiers next time~" she bowed towards the people and skipped away, pulling Taecyeon with her. They sat down on a bench to take a break. Taecyeon awkwardly hung his head low, as Yoona handed him the teddy bear.

"Here you go. The one who won, gives it to the person whom they're on a date with." she winked.

He stayed silent until she grunted. "Yah! Aren't you going to thank me?"

"Alright, t-thank you."

"Aigoo~ You've tried your best anyway. I'm proud of you."

He looked up as he found her smiling at him. "Wait here." He stood up and dashed somewhere. He went back to her with a cotton candy in his hand and gave it to her. Yoona's eyes sparkled when she spotted food.

"Thank you~"

"You're welcome." he smiled.

He placed the bear beside him and fiddled with his fingers. "You're so cool, out there."

She smiled. "It's just to make them gather their senses again. I can't let my partner to feel embarrassed."

"But, you're still cool though."

"What a compliment of the day." she mumbled to herself, but loud enough for Taecyeon to hear. Suddenly Taecyeon noticed Wooyoung who was laughing with Taeyeon as they held hands.

"Yoona, isn't that Wooyoung and Taeyeon?"

She turned to the direction where he was pointing to. "Omo! I see Nichkhun and Yuri too!" She pointed to another direction where Nichkhun and Yuri were sitting on another bench, sharing a drink while romantically staring at each other. Apparently, they have noticed all the royal pairs roaming around the carnival, except for Sungmin and Sunny.  Without hesitation,Taecyeon and Yoona ran up to Wooyoung and Taeyeon first.

"Wooyoung! What are you doing here?" Taecyeon patted his back. He noticed that Wooyoung released his grip on Taeyeon's hand immediately.

"W-what? Oh! Taecyeon hyung! You're with Yoona?" he asked innocently.

Yoona smirked as she could tell that he was acting weirdly. "Taeyeon unnie, why are you acting so weird? Hmm?"

Taeyeon blushed as she bit her tongue. " Nothing. Let's find the others~"

The four of them walked about as they searched for the other pairs. They met up subsequently and gathered in a restaurant. The royal group chattered in excitement as they finally went out for the first time for dinner. They settled down on the longest table. It would be cute if they would take a group picture since the ladies wore sundresses, while the guys were dressed up in their polo and shorts.

"So, who's the smart guy who asked first?" Jay asked while looking at the guys. All of them pointed at Taecyeon and laughed.

"You have to thank me anyway. If it ain't for me, all of us won't be here~"

"Thank you Mr Ok Taecyeon~" All of them slightly bowed with their heads as they said in unison.

"So what did you guys do?" Taeyeon leaned against her chair.

"Games!" they cheered.

"Balloon and Dart game!" Chansung, Sooyoung, Yonghwa and Seohyun shouted.

"Whack-a-mole!" Jay, Jessica, Junho and Hyoyeon high-fived with each other.

"The Bottle Stand." Junsu and Tiffany grinned.

"Kissing Booth?" Nichkhun joked.

"YAH!" Yuri slapped him hard on his shoulder, evoking laughter among the rest.

"Just kidding~"

"We just roamed around." Wooyoung giggled along with Taeyeon. "What about Taecyeon and Yoona?"

"Umm, we played the High-Striker. Taecyeon didn't manage to hit the bell but, I had hit it for him instead~" Yoona blushed while the others cooed softly. Taecyeon felt his ears turning red as Junho and Wooyoung were teasing him.

"That's a cute bear though. Taec, you're a lucky man." Nichkhun teased until Taecyeon poked his head.

10 minutes have passed when they have been chatting and everyone's eyes perked up when they noticed waiters holding onto trays of food. The waiters distributed their dishes swiftly and carefully.

"Let's eat!" Taeyeon picked up her chopsticks as well as the rest. All of them gobbled up on their food, apparently hungry for the whole time.

-At the Palace-

"You should have went with them." Sungmin awkwardly reminded Sunny.

"Nah, you'll be alone here. Besides, I'm not that desperate to go outdoors."

For the first time in his life, Sungmin felt more allured to Sunny as her own beauty attracted him. No Sungmin! Don't fall for her! You can't and you mustn't. If I am, I'm betraying my own brothers.

"Are you okay Sungmin?"

"Hmm? Yeah...I am." he smiled.

"Let's eat at dining room now. Shall we?"

"Sure."

Both of them headed towards the dining room in silence.

-At the Carnival-

"ROLLER COASTER RIDE!!! WOHOOO~!" All of them squealed as the pairs hopped onto the available seats on the roller coaster. They buckled onto their seatbelts and the Operator instructed them shortly. As he closed the gates, he started the engines as the roller coaster began to move.

"AHHHH!!" everyone shouted as they glided down in a quick speed. However, the royal group who were seated behind, cheered in excitement as they were enjoying the ride. The pairs held hands as they raised their hands up high. Taecyeon was caught off-guard when Yoona also, held onto his hand tightly while shouting in glee. A toothy grin was plastered on his face throughout the journey. When the ride has come to an end, they got off the roller coaster and high-fived with each other.

"That was AWESOME!" they screamed in unison. They went to grab some ice-cream before they left. Taeyeon called their chauffeur to pull in with their limousine so that they would go home altogether.

"Would you like to go again guys?" Taeyeon turned behind to face them.

"YES!" they yelled.

"We'll go again, soon enough. Next time, we'll bring a camera. I promise~"

The Soldiers cheered and the Queens clapped in delight. Apparently, the ride was silent since their energies went down the drain. Once they have reached the Palace, they dragged their heavy bodies inside the living room. The Soldiers bid their 'good nights' to the Queens before they headed to their own bedrooms. Taecyeon abruptly bumped into Sungmin.

"Sorry Sungmin."

"It's okay..." he bowed and left. Taecyeon rose an eyebrow since he acted so strange. He shook off the feeling and entered his bedroom. Sungmin looked back as he shut his bedroom door. He bit his lip nervously as he felt anxiety spreading across his mind. The time has come. Forgive me, your highnesses. He sat on his bed, closed his eyes and prayed. He couldn't help but to obey his own brothers but he has this side of him, thinking of rebellion.
