Taecyeon woke up, annoyed by the sunlight that shone through the windows. It was 6 in the morning, the normal timing they would wake up. It's resting day for god's sake! I can sleep all day...then it struck him. He re-called about his thoughts last night of his planned activities today. He actually wanted to ask Yoona out because, he wanted to find the right time to confess his own feelings to her. Confident that she would agree, he stood up and stretched his arms and made his way to the bathroom. He went for a quick shower and took out a dark blue polo and a pair of white shorts. He stared at himself while combing his hair, basically making himself look dashing.

The atmosphere was rather quiet and still than usual. Taecyeon might have guessed that his buddies were still sleeping and snoring. Apparently, he noticed someone walking about in the living room as he went downstairs. He noticed that the servants were rolling the curtains up, sweeping the floor and wiped the windows. He headed to the kitchen as he witnessed Jisoo preparing the dishes.

"Oh, Taecyeon-ssi," he bowed.

Taecyeon smiled at the lad. "I see that you're preparing our breakfast."

"Yes, I am. Would you like me to serve yours first? I have served Yoona-ssi's already."

"Y-Yoona? She's having her breakfast...now?"

Jisoo nodded. "She's the first majesty to wake up."

"Then...serve mine too!" Taecyeon said in glee.

"Sure, Taecyeon-ssi. Wait a moment."

Taecyeon tiptoed towards the dining room and carefully turned the doorknob. He peeked in the gap and saw Yoona reading a book, while eating. He closed the door quietly and mustered up all his courage before going in. Without hesitation, he opened the door and closed it once he came in.

Yoona looked up as she saw Taecyeon coming in. He sat where he usually sits, across from her. Taecyeon awkwardly smiled at her as he got seated.

"Good morning, Yoona."

She looked up and smiled. "Good morning, Taecyeon."

"So...why are you up early?"

"I would always wake up earlier than my sisters. I just like the feeling of being alone at times."

"Oh, then am I disturbing?"

She giggled. "No you aren't. I'm comfortable talking to someone who is alone too."

"That's good then..."

Yoona smiled back as she continued reading. Jisoo walked in as he handed over Taecyeon's plate.

"Here, you go Taecyeon-ssi. Good luck~" he winked at Taecyeon before he left.

Taecyeon couldn't sit or eat still, since he was thinking whether he should ask her, or not. To ask, or not to ask? Oh come on Taec! Make up your mind, for god's sake. *sigh* Here it goes. He placed down his cutleries as he looked up and faced her.

"Yoona..."

She lifted her head up and looked at him. "Yes?"

"Would you...umm...care to, go somewhere...?"

"I'm sorry, I couldn't quite get you."

He nervously laughed. "What I meant was...would you like to go out on a date with me...?"

Yoona closed her book as she stared at him, almost surprised of his words. Noticing that he was hanging his head low, she smiled and got up from her chair, leaning closer to him across the table. Taecyeon's eyes widened once he looked up, gazing over the goddess.

"Where's our date at?" she whispered.

He merely blushed. "Uhh..."

She chuckled as she stood up and grabbed her book. "Be ready in ten minutes at the living room, Mr Protector."

With that, she walked away briskly and Taecyeon felt himself on cloud nine. I've still got my charms, Ok Taecyeon. He smirked and dashed off towards the living room.

He sat on one of the couches, as he played with his fingers. Suddenly, he heard footsteps coming from the flight of stairs.

"I'm ready." Yoona came down, wearing a white sundress, white flats and her hair tied into a ponytail. Taecyeon couldn't help but to admire her natural beauty, as his eyes were glued to her presence. Yoona walked up to him and snapped her fingers.

"Wake up, sleepyhead."

He shook his head and stood up. "Ah, right."

Wooyoung and Nichkhun woke up at the same time as they headed for breakfast. They noticed that most of the Queens were present, as well as, Junho and Sungmin.

"Where's Taec?" Nichkhun looked around the table.

"He's out with Yoona," he turned to Sunny, who took a sip of her coffee.

Wait, what? He's with Yoona? Nichkhun shook off his thoughts as he began to consume his meal. After an hour or so, the guys did their own things but eventually grew bored. Nichkhun strolled along the pathway towards the garden and spotted Yuri writing something, as she sat on a bench. He fixed his blouse and brushed his hair with his hand. Yuri looked up and turned to her left as she felt someone's presence. She glanced at Nichkhun, who was staring at his watch.

"Nichkhun?"

"Yes, your highness?" he turned to his right to face her.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing. I'm just...inhaling the fresh air~"

"Yeah, right. Nice excuse."

He laughed at her statement. "Well, you sure are a mind-reader."

"I'm Ms Speed, remember?" she smiled.

Nichkhun nodded and sighed. What if, I should ask her too? I'll just try my luck then.

"Yuri-ssi."

"What is it Nichkhun?"

"Would you mind, if I would ask you out?"

She dropped her pen and whipped her head, directly staring at him. "What?"

He lifted his head up and gazed at the sky. "Well, let's just take a break for a while. Just a friendly date that is..."

Yuri closed her notebook as she felt a hint of happiness inside her. "Why ever not? I could use the short break."

"So...is it a yes?"

She stood up and began to walk away. Nichkhun catched up with her.

"Tell you what. I'll meet you at the front gates in 5 minutes."

"Yes ma'am!" he saluted and sprinted to the front gates. Yuri giggled at his cute actions. A date...wow. It's been 10 years indeed.

The bustling streets of the town, were filled with random activities. The Solitarians were appalled to see Yoona roaming around in town with the Soldier, Taecyeon. They bowed and greeted the pair as they strolled. Yoona couldn't help but to feel like a normal human being again who's life was just simple and relaxing. Taecyeon, on the other hand, felt as if he was going around in Seoul. He had missed the atmosphere where as there were tons of people doing their own things. After a while, he noticed people wearing comical masks, holding onto cotton candies and balloons.

"Excuse me, where did all of those came from?" he asked a passerby.

The passerby dazed over him and bowed. "Oh, there's a carnival held at the Theme Park."

"Ah, thank you."

Yoona looked around for Taecyeon as she just got back from the restroom. Taecyeon turned around as he spotted Yoona being ready.

"Let's go?"

"Where are we going?"

He smiled cheekily. "You'll see~"

He grabbed her hand and headed towards the Theme Park.

-At the Palace-

"Yah, where's Taec and Khun?" Wooyoung asked Chansung and Junho. The other Soldiers gathered around the living room as they tried to entertain themselves out of boredom.

"Hmm, no idea." Junho sighed.

Chansung had a sudden idea that popped up in his mind. "I think they're out with...you-know-who."

Junho and Wooyoung exchanged witty glances as they grinned. "Why don't we ask the ladies too?"

"Do you think they're busy?"

Junho shrugged his shoulders. "They're probably dying out of boredom as well..."

"Let's give it a try then!" Wooyoung jolted up from his seat, earning some chuckles from the two. The three boys asked the other Soldiers to seek the permission of the Queens themselves.
