Previously: The gang's all here now, but you're barely settling in yet. After some serious musing over what to do with the chicken takeout, you and the BTS boys are finally able to get some dinner. Sitting down like old friends, you feel a little apprehensive, but excited, about what's in store for you here...

A few days had passed since you first arrived at the house in Seongbuk-gu.

Already you could feel yourself beginning to relax around the boys, as the initial euphoria of meeting and living with BTS had gradually began to wore off. Not that it didn't still excite you, no, you were over the moon, and whenever you woke up you half-expected it all to have been a dream.

But no. This was all real. It was all happening. You were beginning to really live your life in this new world...
You'd sleepily take a shower, go through your morning routine and make your way out into the lounge, where some of them would already be gathered. If not downstairs then upstairs. Already they were beginning to settle into their routines.

Typically Jin took forever to get ready in the morning, so he would be doing his billion step routine in his own room for a good hour or so. It was a bit annoying considering (according to Jimin) he was meant to be the best cook. And it appeared that nobody trusted Taehyung with making breakfast, so you ended up taking the job.

Jungkook would usually be exercising with Jimin and Hoseok at that time of day too, so you were typically left to your own devices in the kitchen. Namjoon often insisted on helping you out though, and you had to admit, you liked that he did.

Even now, Suga was still avoiding you, and you barely saw him because of it. You just tried not to let it get to you too much.

On this particular day though, everyone was gathered downstairs on the sofas, including Suga, as you all prepared to hold a sort of...roommate meeting. It was Namjoon's idea, and a wise one too. Set down some casual ground rules, assign different people different chores, create some kind of order in this big house, and everything would go swimmingly.

Hopefully.

“Okay, so-”
Namjoon, playing the leader as always, stood up and read from a sheet he was holding. “-we have a list of chores and things that need doing around the house, which we can assign different people to. I also wrote up some quick rules that should be fair to everyone, but I wanna hear some feedback anyway.”

Jungkook, who was sitting next to you this time as well, nodded.
“Okay, sounds good.”
You were happy to see he was more relaxed now. He even shot you a brief smile before he rested back against the couch again.

“So, if [Y/N] is happy with it, then I think she and I could take care of cooking meals.”
Namjoon glanced at you with those sharp and dark eyes of his, raising his eyebrows, and you nodded in response.
“Sounds good.”

Suga shifted in his seat a little, putting one leg up and resting his cheek against his pale-skinned knuckle. He looked bored.

Coughing, clearly noticing the other rapper's mannerisms, Namjoon just ignored him and continued.
“Aaand...cleaning. We need someone to tidy the ground floor, and someone to do the upper floor too.”

Hoseok immediately put his hand up.
“I can take care of it. I'd do both floors if you wanted.”
“No, I'll help with that.” Jimin offered. “You take the upper floor and I take the ground floor?”
His tangerine-haired friend shrugged and nodded. “Alright.”
