You headed back to the house after that since the ice cream for the others would melt more than it already had if you stayed out too long. The boys were grateful for it when you returned, with Chanyeol and Luhan in tow to boot.

Well, some more grateful than others. It was always pretty clear these days when Yoongi was feeling jealous. He would tend to form this brooding look on his face, the kind that could instill fear into even the strongest of men. Though you felt that lately, he had been trying harder to push down that side of himself, for your sake. For he even forced a slight, wavering smile, and came to join you all outside for some of the sugary treats.

Yes, the ice cream had melted a bit, but Namjoon wisely put it in the freezer for a short while before eating and it was nice and cool by the time you all got around to tucking in. Taehyung was happy regardless, humming softly and rocking a little from side to side while he ate away. How did he manage to be so cute all the time?

Luhan didn't seem too impressed. You couldn't help noticing how he kept glancing up at the boy from his spot next to Chanyeol on the opposite side of the bench, his lips forming a pout after he ate another portion, and finally parting as he spoke:
“So is Taehyung always like this?” Luhan piped up, and Jin glanced at him.
“What is your meaning?” he tilted his head, candy floss hair falling across his face just a tad.

Chanyeol coughed but Luhan just continued, lowering his spoon after it clean and glaring over at Taehyung. The other just looked back at him in utter innocence, and that just served to add to Luhan's frustrations.
“He's in his twenties but he's acting like a little kid...”

Taehyung frowned at that, folding his arms. “I'm not a child!”
You were prepared to jump to his defense too, but Namjoon quickly set about cooling things down before they got heated.
“Okay okay, no more arguments. I think we've all had enough stress for now, right?”
