More Autumns passed by. More letters had been exchanged.

But this time, the hearts did slightly change.

Since that day at the bench, the first Autumn he spent at home, Kyuhyun could not forget the disturbing thought he had about the possibility of him falling out of sibling love and in of the more romantic one with Joohyun.

He was afraid that she would be disgusted with him if she knew about this changing heart. And that he had betrayed her trust and love because of that. Yet he could not forget her beautiful shaped face and her pouty lips. He was even disgusting at himself for thinking about a young girl like that, not to mention his own adopted dongsaeng.

So he tried his best to get him out of such foolish thought. He started to come to parties with Changmin, went to movies with bunch of people, and even agreed to several dates as courtesy of Changmin. He enjoyed these, he did. He even went with an exchange student from the US named Jessica Jung several times.

But every time he went back to his dorm room, he saw the picture his Umma took that Autumn when Joohyunbid goodbye to him. They were hugging and she was crying. And then his own eyes would be teary too, because he knew that whatever he did to forget, he just couldn't deny the feeling anymore.

And he thought his Umma was cruel too, for taking and sending that picture to him. He had a suspicion that their moms kind of secretly made a pact to seal their destiny together. What they didn't know was how he wished that too. But he would not pressure anything to Joohyun. her happiness was important for him.  Even if his own heart bleed. Because she was his everything.

But then, her last letter had made him changed many of his plan. And yes, he might try to be unselfish, but he was still a boy in love.
