Dearest Joohyun,

How have you been? It’s been awhile since our last letter, this is my address for the next 2 years. It’s a bit hard. I think I’m one of the youngest recruit in my division.  Most of them are in their 20’s. We wake up at 5 AM and hit the sack at around 10PM depending on the drill. Food is okay, I mean edible, I’m not complaining. I’m just saying. Hahahaha. It’s already 11 pm. Only a few of my barracks mate are awake and all of us are writing letters. It’s weird, all of a sudden, writing letters is normal here. We can still use phone although it’s pretty much limited, they way they tire us, it’s a miracle if we can still use our phones.

I don’t want to count on days but I’m happy that I somehow am able to go through it unscathed. Hahahaha. I’m getting the hang of it also and as you’ve said, might as well go through this now since sooner or later I really have to  do this anyways. I’m thinking of joining the Army Band, but well it depends if I’ll get a spare time I think I’d have to audition for that also. I’m not sure. Tell me what’s happening with you! I miss you Joohyun. I miss everyone. I hate this feeling
