JIYEON'S POV

It seems like I really don't have a choice to fetch that kid at school.

Hyomin unnie have to stay here till Qri came back and oppa still have a meeting up to 6pm and me?

I'm a CEO but I can leave I've got nothing much to do today.

Omma will be back tomorrow because she goes back to the village to settle some important things there.

"You sure you don't want me to send you there?" I ask Jungie.

She's going to visit her Mom today.

"Yup. You can't make your sister wait. She might get lost." She said.

"Ok. I love you" I said and give her a peck before I get in the car and drove to school.

When I get there Hannah's teacher told me that Hannah didn't show up this afternoon.

She left her things inside the classroom.

Where did that kid go?

"Are you sure you haven't seen her somewhere?" I ask again.

Maybe Hannah just go to the restroom and she didn't notice it.

It could happen because she had a lot of student.

"I'm very sure about that but something happen this lunch and they were called to the guidance office" she said

Guidance office?

On her first day?

That kid is really something.

"Ok...I'll just look for her around. If you saw her can you please send her to the parking so that I could see her?" I said and start to search for Hannah around the school.

The guard says he didn't saw that kid go outside the gate so maybe she was still here in the school grounds.

I hope so.

That kid is getting me into trouble.

I guess I should hire a baby sitter / bodyguard for that kid.

But I wonder what happen.

Why she would be sent to the guidance office?

I look for her in the playground.

Maybe she skip class and decided to play on the playground because her teacher is kinda boring that's very understandable.

Plus she had been wanting to play since she came here to the city.

"Yah! Let go of me! Let go of me!"

Huh?

I heard a someone screaming and that tiny annoying voice is so familiar to me.

I can't be mistaken.

I look around and I found her near the slide.

I frown and it seems like the devil inside me wants to come out.

I don't like what I just saw.

"I need to teach you a lesson!!" a woman was holding Hannah's wrist and looks like she's going to hit her.

Hannah was crying and she looks really scared. Her hair and her uniform were all in mess.

She's totally messy.

What the hell happen to this kid?

I immediately approach them and try to calm myself even though I badly want to kick this ugly woman for hurting my sister.

"Are you a teacher to teach her a lesson?" I ask and they look at me.

"Mind your own business Miss" The ugly woman said to me.

"My business? That kid is my sister and I believe she is my business" I said

"Good. You should take your sister back to the farm where she grow up like trash just like her attitude" She said and push Hannah towards me then leave with her kid.

Did I just heard a bunch of insult from an ugly woman?

She should make sure that we wouldn't meet again.

Coz if I see her again I swear I'm gonna make her pay for everything.

I notice that Hannah was hugging me and cry harder. She's trembling a little too.

I sighed.

"C'mon Hannah let's go home" I said to her and walk to the car.

She's still crying a little.

"Who is that ugly woman?" I ask her while I'm buckling her seatbelt.

She shook her head.

"Is that kid your classmate?" I ask her again and nod.

Did this kid swallowed her tongue?

I didn't ask her anymore and drove home.

It's very obvious that she got bullied that's why she looks like this.

When we reach home I help her change.

"Don't tell Mommy" She said to me while I'm combing her hair.

"Wae?" I ask.

"She will be mad at me" she said.

"No she won't be mad at you. She will just scold you but it doesn't mean she was mad at you" I said to her.

"Why are you being kind to me?" She ask.

"I wasn't being kind to you. I'm just being your unnie." I said.

And she became quiet again.

"Tell me what happen there" I said.

"I don't want to" She said.

"Ok so I guess I'm going to tell Mom" I said and she pout.

"Fine" She said and told me the whole story.

"Hmm. Seems that ugly woman is the one who needs lesson." I said that to myself.

"I'm going to make revenge" She said.

"No no no" I said to her.

"Revenge is not a good thing. Don't do that" I said.

"Wae?" she asks me.

"I just said it. Revenge is not good. Aren't you listening?" I said to her.

This kid somehow have dumbness running in her blood.

"But they will keep bullying me" She complains and cross her arms.

"It's fine to defend yourself when they bully you and when I say defend yourself it doesn't mean that you have to be the first one to launch an attack that means you have to fight back when you have to and when it is worth it. Do you understand me?" I said to her.

I notice that she was look at me intently and nod.

Weird kid.

"Jiyeon unnie." She called out.

"Hmm?" I ask.

I waited for her to speak coz she was taking too long.

"Can we go to the park?" She asks me.

"Really? You wanna be with me in the park?" I ask.

I'm surprised that she want to go out with me.

She nods and look down.

"Ok. Let me change first" I said to her and go to my room to change.

After I change I brought her to the park.

We just walk coz it's not that far.

"Unnie can we stay here till all those lights turn on? I wanna see them" She said.

"Eh? Those are just lights what's so exciting about it?" I ask her.

"Appa usually told me stories about the city when he was alive. He said the city was so bright during the night not like there in the village." She said.

She was on the swing right now and I'm behind her pushing her.

"Really? What happen to your Dad by the way?" I ask her.

"He drowned when a storm hit our village. Appa came from the city that time. The stormy weather came and Appa isn't home yet. The villagers said he still tried to cross the river despite of the stormy weather" she said.

"Sorry for that" I said to her.

"It's ok. Mom said that Appa is always watching over me so I don't have to be sad" She said

"How about you unnie? Where is you Appa?" She asks.

"Our Dad is Soyeon's Dad that's why she became our sister." I said.

"What happen?" she ask again.

"It's a long story" I said
