A few days have passed. Aaron has been spending his times with Guigui a lot lately.

At food court in the mall,

Guigui : Aiyoo, this food is really good.

Aaron : Here, eat more vegetables! (put vegetables on Guigui’s plate)

Guigui : Pai tuo. This is too much.

Aaron : Eat it!

Guigui pouted.

Aaron’s thought : She’s so cute yet so silly. (smiled)

Guigui : What are you smiling for?

Aaron : Nothing.

At the same time, Hebe, Selina, Ella, and Han were going shopping at the mall.

Han : Heb, isn’t that Aaron? (Pointed at the food court)

Hebe took a look at where Han pointed to.

Selina : Who’s that girl, Heb?

Hebe : That’s Guigui, Aaron’s classmate.

Ella : They look so happy together.

Hebe : I heard from Aaron they were close like a brother and sister.

Hebe’s thought : What is he doing here? He told me he was going to be at home.

Han : You better watch them.

Selina : Eh, let’s go to that store.

Hebe : you guys go in first. I’ll come in a minute.

The girls walked into the store.
Hebe hid behind a wall where she could see Aaron clearly then she dialed Aaron’s number.

*Aaron’s POV*
“ So, that’s true?” I asked. We were talking about our friends.

“Yes. Yatou and Ahwei are officially dating now.” Guigui explained.

Just then, my phone rang.

“Wei.” I answered.

“Darling, I miss you. Are you free now?” It’s Hebe.

“Ahem. Uhm, actually no. Do you need something?” I asked.

“I just want to see you.” She said.

“I can’t now.” I told her.

“Where are you? Why is it so crowded there?” She asked.

“Ehm, I’m out with some friends.” I replied nervous. What a good excuse, I thought.

“Oh. Can I come?” She said.

“uhm.. Listen, I’ll call you later alright?” I said.

“Alright.” She said

“Bye.”

“Bye” I hung up the phone.

Hebe’s side.
Hebe’s thought : You’re obviously not with some friends.

Aaron’s side.
Guigui : Aaron?

Aaron : What?

Guigui : Was that Hebe?

Aaron nodded.

Guigui : Why did you tell her you were with some friends? You’re lying to her. You’re only with me.

Aaron : Gui, I.. It’s none of your business. I want to spend some times with you.

Guigui : But you didn’t need to lie.

Aaron : You don’t understand.

Guigui : You know if she saw us right now, she might have a misunderstanding. You know that?

Guigui sat up and started to walk away.
Aaron did the same thing. He followed Guigui from behind.
They were leaving the mall and walked towards a park.
Guigui sat down on the swing, so did Aaron.

Guigui sighed.

Aaron : What was that for?

Guigui : Nothing. I’m just thinking.

Guigui’s thought : I’m happy that he’s with me. I want him to be with me. But in the other hand, I don’t want to destroy someone else’s relationship. After all my relationship with Aaron was just an ambiguous relationship from the start. He’s engaged. Aiyoo, this is so hard. I don’t want to be a third person here.

Guigui sighed.

Aaron : Gui?

Guigui : Yeah?

Aaron : You sighed twice already. What are you thinking about?

Guigui sighed again.

Guigui : stuffs.

Aaron stood up and walked up to Guigui. He kneeled in front of Guigui who was sitting on the swing.
Aaron stared into Guigui’s eyes.

Aaron : Gui, what I said on the day of your accident was real.

Guigui : Uhm. Which one? I don’t remember. I think I have amnesia. (Hit her head)

Aaron : Guigui! Can you be serious?

Guigui giggled.

Aaron touched Guigui’s face.

Aaron : How can you be so silly?

Aaron now held Guigui’s hands, still staring at Guigui.

Aaron : Gui, I.. uhm.. I..

Guigui : WHAT?

Aaron : I really like you. No, I should say I love you.

Guigui : Aaron..

Aaron : I mean it.

Guigui looked into Aaron’s eyes. She knew Aaron wasn’t lying.

Guigui : But you..

Aaron : Listen, it’s not something that I want. You have to trust me, okay?

Guigui : I…

Aaron : I promise you. I’ll settle everything. We’ll be together.

Guigui : Aaron..

Aaron : The day of your accident, I’ve promised you I won’t leave you. I’m sorry.

Tears were flowing down Guigui’s cheeks.
Aaron wiped Guigui’s tears and hugged her.

Aaron : I’m sorry. I’ll never leave you. I promise.

Aaron pulled from the hug. He stared into Guigui’s eyes. Guigui stared back.
Slowly, Aaron came closer to Guigui. Their faces were just an inch far.
Aaron came closer and his lips touched Guigui’s. Guigui kissed him back.
The kiss lasted for about one minute.
Aaron slowly pulled from the kiss.
Guigui put her head down, shy.

Aaron giggled.

Aaron : Why did you put your head down?

Aaron touched Guigui’s chin and lifted it up, wanted to stare into her eyes.
Guigui covered her face with both her hands.

Aaron : I want to see you.

Guigui : I don’t want to.

Aaron : Pumpkin, let me see your face.

Guigui : NO!

Aaron laughed.
Guigui put her hands down and hit Aaron’s head.

Guigui : What are you laughing for?

Aaron : I’m laughing at how cute my girlfriend is.

Guigui : Girlfriend?

Aaron : Yeap. From now on, Guigui Wu is Aaron Yan’s girlfriend. (smiles)

Guigui : I didn’t say anything about being your girlfriend. You didn’t even ask me.

Aaron stared into Guigui’s eyes and held her hands.

Aaron : Guigui, will you be my girlfriend?

Guigui : But you’re…

Aaron : Shh. No but! It’s settled. You’re my girlfriend from now on. I promise you I’ll settle everything.

Guigui nodded.

Aaron : Trust me. Okay?

Guigui nodded again and smiled.

Aaron : That’s my girl.

Aaron’s thought : I promise you, Gui. I’ll settle everything. I really love you.

Guigui's thought : I don't know whether I should be happy or not. I hope this will work out. I trust you, Aaron.
