After a while..

Ring ring

Wangzi : Wei.

Yatou : Wangzi, Have you seen Guigui?

Wangzi : Yatou, she’s in America right now. Pai tuo lah.

Yatou : She came back this morning. She went out in the afternoon. But she hasn’t come back yet. Her grandma is really worried. It’s already 9 in the evening. Where could she be?

Wangzi : Ok I understand. I’ll call the others and help look for Guigui. Meet you in the park later. (hung up)

[Park]
Yatou : Did you find her?

Meimei shook her head.

Xiao Yu : We went around school. No sign of Guigui there.

Meimei : How about you guys? (turn to Ahben and Calvin)

Calvin : Can’t find her either.

Ahben : I called Tongtong, Xiao Xun, and Mini. They are also looking for Guigui right now.

Wangzi : Yatou, did she say where she was going?

Yatou shook her head

Yatou : She called me while I was out with Ahwei, but she didn’t say she was going somewhere.

Meimei : I wasn’t at home either. Grandma was sleeping when she left the house.

Yatou : What to do? What if something happens to her? (worry)

Ahwei : Yatou, she’ll be alright (hugged Yatou)

Aaron came, running.

Aaron : (Panting) Ey, what did you guys call me here for? I was enjoying my sleep. Did you know that?

Wangzi : Aaron.. Guigui’s been missing.

Aaron was not sure about what he had just heard.

Aaron : Guigui what?

Yatou : She’s been missing. She went out this afternoon, but didn’t come back. We’ve been looking for two hours already.

Aaron’s thought : Guigui,’s been missing. She couldn’t have been missing since she left my house, could she?

Wangzi noticed Aaron was spacing out.

Wangzi : Aaron, do you know where she is?

Aaron shook his head

Aaron : I don’t know. Where could she be this late? (Nervous and Worry)

After a while, they still can’t find Guigui. They decided to go to Guigui’s house to check that Guigui might be home already.

Yatou : Grandma, is Guigui home already?

Grandma : She’s not home yet. (Worry) Where is she? (Cry)

Meimei hugged Grandma.

Meimei : She’ll come home grandma. You should go sleep. I’ll wake you up when she got home, okay?

Meimei sent grandma to her room.

Aaron : Guys, let’s go look for her again.

Xiao Yu : AIyo, I’m tired already.

Wangzi : It’s alright if you don’t want to go. I’ll go look for her. Aaron, are you coming?

Aaron nodded.

Wangzi opened the door and about to walk out when he saw Guigui. Guigui looked exhausted and lifeless.

Wangzi : guigui! (ran towards Guigui)

Everybody else got up and ran towards Guigui and Wangzi. Aaron looked at Guigui.
Guigui was so exhausted. She was about to faint.
Guigui looked at Wangzi and smiled.

Guigui : W-wang-zi..

Guigui fainted.

Yatou : GUIGUI!

Good thing Wangzi was already in front of Guigui when Guigui fainted. Wangzi caught Guigui.
Aaron came up to Wangzi.

Aaron : I’ll carry her.

Wangzi : I can manage.

Wangzi carried Guigui to her room. The others were following them to Guigui’s room. Wangzi put Guigui on her bed. Yatou came towards Guigui and sat beside her. Yatou felt the pressure on Guigui’s forehead.

Yatou : So HOT. She’s having a fever.

Aaron came towards Guigui and touched Guigui’s forehead to feel the pressure.

Aaron : I think we should bring her to the hospital.

[Hospital]
Doctor came out after checking Guigui.

Aaron : Doctor, how is she doing?

Doctor : She’s alright. She’s just too tired. It seems like she hasn’t eaten all day long. Her iron level went down.

Yatou : What to do, doctor?

Doctor : Let her rest today. I’ll check on her again tomorrow. She’s asleep right now. You guys can go see her.

Everybody went into the room. Guigui was sleeping silently.

Wangzi : You guys should go home. I’ll stay over tonight.

Yatou : I want to stay too

Meimei : Me too.

Aaron : You guys should rest. I’ll stay. (Turn to Xiao Yu and Ahwei) bring the girls home guys!

Ahwei turned to Yatou.

Ahwei : Yatou, let’s go home. There’s no school tomorrow. We’ll come back tomorrow. Okay?

Yatou : Aaron, Wangzi, call me if anything happens.

Yatou, Meimei, Xiao Yu, and Ahwei went home.
Ahben and Calvin also went home not long after Yatou and the others went home.

Wangzi : Bro, I’m going to get some drinks. You want something?

Aaron : Coke would do. Thanks!

Wangzi : Aight, I’ll be back.

Wangzi left the room, leaving Aaron alone with Guigui in the room.

Guigui cried in her sleep.

Guigui : Aaron.. Aaron..

Tears were rolling down her cheeks.

Aaron kissed Guigui’s forehead then held Guigui’s hand.

Aaron : Gui, I’m sorry.

The next day..

Aaron went home to take shower while Wangzi waited in the hospital. Guigui was still sleeping.
Wangzi was sitting beside Guigui’s bed.

Guigui : Aaron, Aaron.. Nooo! (wake up, sweating)

Wangzi : Guigui, Are you okay?

Guigui : Wangzi.. (Cry)

Wangzi : Don’t cry. Were you having nightmare? (Hugged Guigui)

Guigui : I d-dreamt that Aaron wouldn’t talk to me anymore. He hated me, but then he saved me from getting hit by a car and he... died.(Cry)

Wangzi : It’s alright. It was just a dream. (Wiped Guigui’s tears)

Guigui : Where am I?

Wangzi : You’re in the hospital. You fainted last night. You had fever so we brought you here.

Just then Aaron walked into the room. Guigui smiled when she saw Aaron.
She jumped from the bed and ran towards Aaron. Then a girl came into the room right behind Aaron.
It was Hebe. Guigui stopped. Smile on her face was gone.
Hebe put her arms around Aarons’ body.
Guigui stared into Aaron’s eyes. Aaron also stared back at her.

Aaron : Gui, are you feeling better?

Guigui did not reply. Guigui was still standing there, puzzled.

Wangzi : Who are you? (To Hebe)

Hebe : You must be Wangzi. I’m Hebe, Aaron’s fiancée.

Hebe offered hands shake to Wangzi, but Wangzi didn’t reply.
Wangzi looked at Guigui who was still staring at Aaron.

Aaron’s thought : Gui, please don’t look at me like that.

Guigui ran out of the room. Wangzi followed her.

Wangzi : Guigui..

Wangzi grabbed Guigui’s arm and turned her to face him.

Wangzi : You knew about it, didn’t you?

Tears started rolling down Guigui’s cheeks. Wangzi walked closer to Guigui and hugged her.

Wangzi’s thought : I shouldn’t have given you up, Gui. How could Aaron do this to you?

They did not realize Aaron was watching them from afar.

Aaron’s thought : I’m sorry.
