“Haraboji… Haraboji….” Shin Hye cried. Jeong Seok looked at her from a far as his mother was attending to the girl who he met at the hospital.

‘What is so special about her?’ He wondered. ‘Why is she being brought to their home and being treated as if the real daughter to the house.’  He sighed as he was not used to the situation.

“Dear… Dear…” His mother tried to wake the girl up.

“Haraboji….” She muttered some more.

“Eomma!” Jeong Seok called his mother. “Just let her be.” He insisted.

“Yah… She is not feeling well.” She scolded him. “We are supposed to take good care of her.”

“Fine then… I am going out.” He told her as he walked out of the room.

Shin Hye felt the cool towel being patted on her face. Slowly she opened her eyes and saw a beautiful woman who seemed to be her mother’s age smiling at her.

“W.. Where am I?” As she speculated the room . Jeong Suk’s mother helped her to sit up as she tried to regain her consciousness.

“You’re in our room. I am Jeong Seok’s mother, Kim Hye Jin.” Hye Jin introduced herself to the beautiful girl in front of her. “My father-in-law has asked us to take good care of you.”

“Eo?” Shin Hye looked at Hye Jin a tad confuse, then soon after she remembered.

“I am so happy now that I am not the only woman in this family. It can get too lonely here.” Hye Jin chuckled as she straightened Shin Hye’s blanket. “I hope we can be good friends.” She smiled generously.

Shin Hye replied with nervous smile and nodded slightly. Jong Seok mother left her alone to rest. So many things ran through her mind especially the part where she belonged to that family at that moment.

Shin Hye took out the book that she was reading back when she had to look after her grandfather. She missed him so dearly and at that moment she needed him the most. She took out the family picture and touched her grandfather’s face as if she was caressing his cheek like she always did. “Poshippoyo haraboji… I want to see you…” She whispered and her eyes started to tear up.

She was lost in remembering all of the good moments she had with her one and only loving grandfather when a soft knock can be heard. “Agassi…” Said the voice softly.

Shin Hye quickly put down her book and attended to her door. “Neh…” She answered politely as she opened the door.

A middle age woman with the friendliest smile she had ever seen was at her door, from her uniform-like dress, Shin Hye could have guessed that she would be one of the helpers in the household. She bowed her head.

“Eh.. Agassi… No.. No need for that…” The lady told Shin Hye. “M..Master wants you to come down to eat dinner, Agassi..” She told Shin Hye and bowed her head a little bit then walked away. Shin Hye quickly closed her door and followed the lady. 

As they reached the dining area, Shin Hye suddenly felt extremely conscious as everyone was already seated.

“Come dear, sit next to me.” Jong Seok’s mother called her. Shin Hye bowed to everyone and slowly walked then sat next to Jong Seok’s mother.  Jong Seok was sitting across Shin Hye and tried to look cool as if Shin Hye’s present was not a big deal. Next to Jong Seok w
