Ever since Heejin found out about the supernatural, she was everywhere. She visited Kai's loft after school, she often went to the forest with you, she constantly messaged Suho asking about stuff, and when he was asleep, she'd message you. Sometimes you'd wake in the morning to three or more texts from her waiting for you, some of them sent in some very disturbing hours of the night. She low-key stalked Tao after school, now that the secret was out, waiting for something magical to happen, and you're sure she was on cloud nine when you showed her the library in Kai's and Taemin's gym basement. She was careful not to touch anything without your permission, though, and she was so happy you wouldn't dare to mind her being down there. 

She met Daehyun one day. When she found out that he has powers, she practically clung to him and pleaded him to show her what he can do. You've never seen Daehyun as adorably confused as you did at this moment - he was sincerely shocked and a bit proud of himself for being able to make the girl so excited about his powers. He looked at you with awe in his eyes. It was nice. 

You haven't heard as much from Minjoon as you have from Heejin, but Tao assured you he's alright. 

"He's a bit detached," he admitted one day. "But I think that's just how he is. You know how some people hate parties but their best friends still force them to go? I think he feels like that happened, only, the party is a supernatural storm. It doesn't mean that he's angry or scared about it, just a bit salty and displeased." 

"And Heejin?" you ask. 

"Heejin thinks she's found herself in one of her fantasy books, come on. For her it's like entering Narnia."

You're in the middle of going through Korean law books when your phone buzzes next to you. You unlock it to find a new message from Heejin, which isn't unusual.

You sigh. Knowing Heejin, she won't stop writing unless you turn off messenger, which would be rude. You don't have the heart to tell her to go away, because you can understand the excitement she feels about this whole thing. Hell, once you find a new spell you're capable of talking about it for a week with no end; Kai knows that best. So you go to check who's online from your pack and squint a little at the screen before making a decision.

You nod to yourself, considering the mission complete.

Taemin, on the other hand, searches for Heejin's name on his list of people he've talked to before and realizes he's never talked to the girl on facebook before. He make a face. He clicks the search button and types in her name.

He smiles to himself.

Minjoon is going through video games section in an electronic shop when he feels a pair of eyes on him. He ignores it at first, trying to mind his business, but after fifteen more seconds it starts to get on his nerves. He raises his head, as subtly as he can, and sees a blonde guy staring at him. Oh, he knows him. That's Kai's brother. They've met, briefly, during one of the outings Heejin has forced Minjoon to go on before they both found out about the magic thing. 

Now that Minjoon thinks about it, the guy wasn't there when Kai and you gave Minjoon and Heejin the magic talk. Was he a werewolf, too? 

"Hi," Kai's brother says with a blank face. Minjoon realizes he's been staring at him for the past five seconds without saying anything. "Min...?"

"Minjoon," Minjoon says. 

"Yeah, Minjoon. What's up?" 

He squints a little. Why is he talking to him? 

"I'm looking for a...video game," he replies, waving the newest Witcher at Taemin. The dude approaches him then. He's wearing sport gear and has a big duffel bag thrown over his shoulder. He's quite muscular, Minjoon notes, and feels himself growing nervous. Ugh. Attractive, muscular, intimidating people everywhere. Just yesterday he's met Krystal for the first time and he's really done. 

("Hey, I'm Krystal." 

"Oh, yeah, hi." 

"Did they tell you about me?" 

"Um. I don't think so?" 

"Oh. That's great then." 

"Wait, why?" 

"Nothing. Don't ask."

Later on, after she left, he found out she can read minds. Freaking. Scary. Supernatural. People. And he's pretty sure that at some point into their hanging-out-time he dozed off thinking about Megan Fox.)

He doesn't want to see any more attractive people for the next week. Especially if they can read minds.

"You're a gamer?" Kai's brother asks. Oh no, small talk.

"Yeah," he nods. "You?" 

"I mostly just play on xbox," the dude says. "I'm great at Halo." 

"Oh, cool." 

Cool? Cool? Jesus, Minjoon. Awkward much?

"So, how are you?" the blonde asks, making the whole situation even more awkward. "I mean. The whole magic thing was quite sudden." 

"I'm fine," Minjoon assures, putting the Witcher back onto the shelf. Taemin starts walking alongside him and Minjoon glances at him nervously, but the blonde seems super relaxed and very confident. He walks with a little swag, and usually it'd totally piss Minjoon off, but he has an air about him that says that the swag is totally justified. Reasonable, even. "I was surprised. A bit." 

"A bit?" Kai's brother asks, snorting good-naturedly. His smile is dazzling and honest. "I'd say that's ground-shaking, life-changing news." 

"Uh, sure." 

"I hear sarcasm." 

Minjoon glances at him. The guy is smiling a little. The right corner of his mouth is quirked up and he's looking down at Minjoon with curiosity. 

"I don't want to sound like a ." 

The blone laughs out loud. "Don't worry, there's not much that can offend me," he assures as they follow down the video games section. "Come on. Be frank. Get it all out. Relieve yourself." 

"That sounds inappropriate." 

"This is just the beginning, my friend." 

"See, that's what I'm afraid of." 

Taemin laughs again. Minjoon gets less tense at that.

Minjoon and Taemin hit it off. It's not surprising, but it's quite sudden. One day Kai sees Taemin talking with Minjoon via messanger and laughing like an idiot at something the other one says. And up until then, Kai was pretty sure Minjoon didn't even know Taemin's name. 

"Having fun?" he asks, plopping down onto the couch and leaning over Taemin's shoulder to peek at his screen. Taemin pushes his face away. 

"Jealous?" he asks Kai, smiling a little. Kai slaps his hand. "He's a really funny guy." 

"So Heejin says," Kai admits. Comfortable silence falls between them. Taemin laughs again at something Minjoon says. Then Kai speaks up again, in a bit of a daze, "We've gotten stronger, you know." 

"Hm?" Taemin mutters, looking up at him. "Oh. Yeah. Yeah, I know. I felt it during today's sparring with Xiumin. He almost broke my arm without realizing it. They're all getting stronger." 

"That's because there's more and more of us," Kai says. "The bond is getting stronger." 

"Yeah. I don't even think we're a pack anymore, we're a honest to God clan," he laughs. Kai wonders if that's true. "Is Heejin part of the pack yet?" Taemin asks curiously. "I mean, according to your alpha senses. Or whatever." He never actually understood how that thing worked, but he knows that it's profound and intangible. Something a human would never understand, never feel. He always feels a little jealous because of that. 

"She is," Kai admits. "It's—yeah." 

"That's cool," Taemin says, nodding. "I like Heejin. And Minjoon is really cool, too. Although I have a feeling that he'd rather stay out of the werewolf business." 

"I get that feeling too," Kai says, smiling a little. He eyes Taemin carefully.

"What?" Taemin asks. "You're making a face," he adds with disgust.

"You're happy," Kai states. Taemin scoffs and half-heartedly punches him in the shoulder. 

"I'm always happy, you're the grumpy one," he says, laughing. 

"No, I mean," Kai says quickly, "you're happy that there're more humans in the pack now." 

Taemin feels himself deflate a little. He wonders if that's true. He did approach Minjoon a few days ago on a complete whim. He rarely does that. He likes to keep to himself. He never felt bad, being - practically - the only human in the whole pack. Besides Eun, that is. He grew up in a werewolf family. He never felt worse because of that. Maybe a few times, when he was growing up and all his siblings were better than him at literally everything. But he could handle that. He was strong. Both physically and mentally. He didn't need another human to feel better about himself. 

When he joined Kai's pack, he felt pretty great knowing that Eun, a human, is part of it, too. You were human too, although you had your magic, which kind of still made you a supernatural being. Same goes to the Jung siblings. 

Okay. He does feel nice because of the fact that Heejin has joined the pack, and he does feel great to be able to talk to Minjoon about the supernatural. He didn't even realize that before. 

"Yeah," he says slowly. He looks at Kai, feeling affection creeping under his skin. "Yeah. I am. I mean, that's pretty cool. Being the only human who knows was starting to get pretty boring. Not that you guys are boring. It's just—you know." 

"Yeah," Kai says, stretching his arm out as if wanting to pat Taemin's head. Before he can do that, Taemin throws an arm over Kai's shoulder and gives him a noogie that leaves Kai screaming and practically choking. 

Feels, man.

It's around 6 pm when Heejin's phone buzzes and a known 'ping' comes from it, announcing that someone has texted her on messannger. When she unlocks her phone, she finds a newly formed group chat at the top of her messages that says 'Team Human'. She clicks on it. 

It's a four-people group. Taemin made it and he added her, Eun and Minjoon.

As if feeling that something is going on behind his back, Suho calls her, and Heejin's laughing as she picks up.

BanaWarrior is the one who pointed about (to me of course) that the Moon Pack is now more like a clan XD So Kai's words are essentially her.
