“YOU DID WHAT?” Mark asks Youngjae rather loudly, earning the looks of the other students.

“I confessed to Eunji-noona last week…” The boy says in a whisper.

“So what happened?”

Blushing, Youngjae tells the other male, “W-we are… uhm… we’re dating now…”

Shocked at his friend’s revelation, Mark could only stare in awe. Youngjae has always been awkward with people, even to Eunji, and he never imagined the former to be the first to confess.  “Waaaah~ Congrats, Youngjae-ya!” He pats the other boy’s back. “Congrats…”

Youngjae smiles and thanks Mark before asking, “So… Don’t you have anyone you like? I can help you! I mean, double dates sound fun… I think.”

“S-someone I like?”

“You have one, right? I can tell! You’re thinking about someone right now!” Youngjae teased excitedly. Before Mark could deny these allegations, Minyoung, the president of the school’s dance faculty passes by.

“’Sup, Mark and Youngjae!” She greets but doesn’t bother to stop and talk to the boys.

“Hi noona!” The younger male greets enthusiastically. “She looks like she’s in a rush … What’s up with her?” He turns to Mark only to find that the latter is already arranging his things.

Mark places his planner inside his bag and closes it in a hurry. “Hey, can we talk later? I suddenly remembered something! Bye!” And he disappears into the crowd of students.

Though confused at the other’s sudden change in behavior, Youngjae shrugs it off thinking Mark is probably telling the truth. ‘Must be about their upcoming dance presentation for the school’s founding anniversary…’

‘She walks fast, eh?’ Mark tells himself. It didn’t even take him ten minutes to arrange his things but Minyoung’s already out of his sight. He proceeds to the school’s auditorium thinking that she’s probably going to practice for their school presentation. As expected, he does find her inside, getting ready to rehearse. Mark hides and watches. He’s always done this. He loved watching her dance because to him, Minyoung’s most captivating whenever she dances. The way her body moves with the beat…. Her sleek movements… The spell she puts the audience under…. Minyoung always delivers a stellar performance – regardless if it’s just a rehearsal or the real thing – and this adds to just how attractive and wonderful Mark finds her.

Completely astounded, Mark is frozen on his spot even after Minyoung’s performance. He doesn’t even notice that she’s walking up to him.

“You really like doing this, huh?” Minyoung asks him, sending him back to reality.

“H-huh? Uhh… I can explain…”

She smiles at him, “You know, I always pretend to not notice but I know you always watch me practice…”

Hearing this, Mark could feel his blood rush to his cheeks and he’s so sure he’s as red as a tomato at the moment. “Minyoung…”

“So about the performance that the troupe will be doing for the school’s founding anniversary… I hope you’d join Jaebum and Jackson. I think you’re the best when it comes to martial arts tricking. You look really cool when you do it…”

“R-really?”

Minyoung nods and avoids Mark’s stare. “Uhm, so, why don’t we go practice the routine?”

“Just the two of us?” Oh yeah!

“I’d call the others, of course!”

“Uh, right. Of course.” Mark could only laugh awkwardly in embarrassment.
