“Yugyeom-ah, can you make it tomorrow?”

“Hyung… Aria’s a little shy so she’s having second thoughts.”

“Yugyeom-i, please put me on loudspeaker.” *beep* “Aria-sshi~? Please come next week, okay? There’s nothing to be shy about~”

“Eh? A-alright, then, J-Jaebum oppa~”

Jaebum looks at his wife, Kaycee, and gestures to her that Yugyeom and Aria have finally agreed to coming to their reunion next week. She smiles at him and makes an “OK” sign with her hand before leaving for their children’s room.

“JC, Kay~ Uncle Yugyeom and Auntie Aria are coming here next week~ You’d get to meet Yuri & Gary, too~”

Jaebum smiles as he hears the excited squeals of his children.

Like GOT7, I hope our children will all get along well, too.

Jaebum and the rest of the boys understand why Aria’s feels awkward around them. Yugyeom kept having a girlfriend a secret until the day he announced to them that he’s getting married.

FLASHBACK

“YOU’RE WHAT?!” Jaebum asks, surprised.

“OH MY GOD, DID YOU GET HER PREGNANT OR SOMETHING?!” Jackson comments making the youngest panic and defend himself.

“No, no, no! Nobody’s pregnant!”

“Then why this sudden decision to get married?” Mark calmly asks.

“Well… It’s really not sudden, Mark-hyung… We’ve thought of it for a while now… and…”

“And???” Jinyoung, Bambam and Youngjae all say in unison, all eyes on Yugyeom.

“Aria and I have been together for about five years now so this is definitely planned…”

After working it out, Jackson then confirms, “So you guys started dating around the time Mark got married to Nikka??”

“Yes.”

“Holy! Now that’s what we call ninja moves!”

END OF FLASHBACK

It’s already been more than three years since Yugyeom and Aria got married but the latter still hasn’t fully warmed up with the others. Whenever Yugyeom asks his wife why she’s always shy around his friends, Aria would tell him that aside from the fact that GOT7 members’ families now seldom meet up, it’s because she only got to know the boys on the day of their wedding – that she wasn’t able to get to know them well before becoming a part of their big ‘family’.

“But I don’t blame you. I mean, we had to keep our relationship secret because at that time, Mark and Nikka got bashed by some of your fans.”

“I’m still sorry, my love…”

“It’s okay~ at least we’ve hung out together quite a few times now… Don’t worry, Yugyeomie, sooner or later, I’d finally loosen up and be more comfortable around them. At the reunion, I’ll try.”

“Please. But don’t stress yourself, okay? My hyungs understand you… and just so you know, they really like you,” Yugyeom tells Aria with a smile as he cups her face. “And I love you…”

“I love you too…”

Laughter and cheers fill the room as Jackson and Ana’s triplets and Mark and Nikka’s son danced to one of GOT7’s songs, “Girls, Girls, Girls”.

Jaebum and Mark roll on the floor laughing at how one of the kids, Andrew, seemed to mimic his father.

“YA~! I don’t dance like that!” He pretended to be mad but ends up laughing out loud.

Ana laughs and claps loudly at her husband’s reaction while Kaycee quietly watches as Kay and JC run towards Jaebum and wobbly dance along to the beat.

At the other side of the room, the other girls are all huddled together, chatting. Mark’s wife, Nikka is exchanging prenatal care tips with Bambam’s wife, Cassandra, who is currently pregnant with their first child.

“Oh, so what are you girls gossiping about? Why are you all gathered here?” Jinyoung suddenly appears behind his wife, Mae.

“We’re just talking about how Nikka’s and Cassandra’s pregnancies are going…”

“Mae here said she wants a Jinyoung-junior soon,” Jamie, Youngjae’s fiancée, teases which embarrasses the couple.

“YA!” Mae playfully hits Jamie’s arm. “I never said that!”

For the first time, Aria joins in teasing Jinyoung’s wife, “She said you spend most of your time reading books when you…” she stops then laughs at how Mae has turned red as a tomato.

“Aigoo~ Now I understand why Yugyeom likes you~” Jinyoung pats Aria’s head before turning to his wife and tells her with a smirk, “Wait ‘til we get home, then…”

Dumbfounded and too embarrassed to say anything to her husband, Mae just hides her face.

“Sorry, unnie~” Jamie and Aria hug Mae who then checks if her husband has already left.

She then whispers, “Nah~ I was faking. I really want our own ‘junior’. Good job, girls!”

Most of the afternoon was spent with the little kids showcasing their ‘talents and the grown-ups chatting and catching up. Since they all started to build their own families, the members barely saw each other and this is the first time that they bonded this long since Yugyeom and Aria’s wedding.
