Luhan's greatest enemy had made an appearance again. A plate of steaming pumpkin soup lay in front of the young omega, giving off an unmistakable, vile scent. Scrunching his nose up, the wolf scowled a little. He didn't want to hurt Mrs Oh who had prepared the dish for them with so much care, but he also didn't want to eat any of the orange liquid. His beast was enjoying the little show, howling in laughter in the back of the boy's mind.

Had he been in the mood, the omega would have loved to scold him, but the mere sigh of his meal was enough to chase all his previous bliss away, especially as he had been expecting to eat something much more delicious.

Puffing out his cheeks, Luhan glanced at Sehun who was eating already, a look of complete resignation lingering in his eyes.

"Eat, pretty!" the alpha cooed softly, a small smirk on his lips. Even though he adored his mate, he felt like it was only fair if the both of them suffered. His mother had been sneaky: no one actually expected to be served the odd soup once more. It was maybe even worse than before, droplets of oil glimmering on top between overly soaked pieces of something Sehun guessed to be the pieces of the pumpkin.

Luhan shot a weak glare at the other, sinking his spoon into the soup before raising it to his lips. He smiled at Mrs Oh weakly, trying to pretend that he liked the taste: it was actually okay, but incredibly salty.

"It's good..'" the little omega mouthed to Mrs Oh, his ears perking up when he heard Sehun's father let out a howling laughter. Everyone turned to the man, not quite understand what he was so amused by.

"I'm sorry Luhan, but you look like you've just sold your soul to someone." he sniggered lowly. The moment his wife turned her gaze on the small omega, he quickly poured his soup back in the large bowl swiftly, only leaving a couple spoonfuls in his plate.

Sehun rolled his eyes at his father's antics. Even if the man was an alpha, and not the youngest at that, he could still act like a three-year-old. He was ready to tell his mother what had just happened - given that he wanted to save his mate from being scolded for glaring at his food as if it was going to kill him - but the softest of giggles interrupted him.

Luhan's voice was still quite raspy, especially when now as he hadn't really used it that day before, but his giggling was sweet  and his eyes twin
