Absolute Boyfriend

                “K—Kwangmin?”

                Minwoo’s screws suddenly became rusted tight as he interrupted Doctor Kim Donghyun operating on Kwangmin. He looked to Youngmin, and was equally surprised to find him here too.  This is what he came back for?

                “Leave.” Donghyun gritted out, still painstakingly trying to stich Kwangmin back together.

                “Don’t disturb 01, 04.” K.Will said firmly, leading him back outside.

                Jeongmin and Hyunseong looked at him, trying to get some new information. “This is what I come home to?” Minwoo asked them.

                For a moment, Hyunseong’s eyes flickered like fire. “So all of a sudden this is your home again?”

                “Where’s Seh Lyung?” Minwoo avoided the question and asked one of his own.

                “Where’s Ji Eun?” Hyunseong retorted, acting so unlike himself.

                It looked dangerous playing a verbal fight. Jeongmin stepped in-between the two, his face just as hard and serious as them. He never thought to break up a fight, especially between someone as well composed as Hyunseong and an innocent maknae like Minwoo. “You would really fight while Seh Lyung’s upstairs?” Jeongmin tried, knowing it would hit the right nerve.

                The first to react was Hyunseong, who backed off two meters and stormed away to his room. Minwoo looked to Jeongmin for comfort. “Is this all my fault?”

                The honey-haired boy shook his head, solemn. “Hyunseong’s just taking it out on you. He’s just mad that Seh Lyungie isn’t happy and it’s out of his hands.”

                “And why is he mad about IU-noona?”

                Jeongmin evaded the question, and Minwoo sensed it was a bad sign. “I’m going to go check on Hyunseong.” Jeongmin mumbled vaguely, running off.

                Professor K.Will, Donghyun, and Youngmin returned upstairs with grim looks on their faces. “Where’s 02 and 03?” K.Will asked, only finding Minwoo. Offhandedly he added, “Oh well, I think I told them earlier. 04, come with me and 01 for repairs. We don’t want any other accidents happening.” He turned to Youngmin. “And you too.”

                “M—me?” Youngmin spluttered, pointing to himself.

                “Of course. Would this be your first tune-up?” A grin slowly spread over Professor K.Will’s face. A little scared, Youngmin nodded his head. “Relax! You’re not going to get hurt or anything! But in that case, it’s best you stay here for a while. Besides, your brother doesn’t seem like he’ll be going anywhere anytime soon.”

                Once again, the blond boy faltered. “L—live here? With you guys?”

                “What? Is there something wrong rooming with robots? We have plenty of room; it’s a big house anyway.” K.Will chuckled, as if everything was normal.  He patted Youngmin’s back. “Welcome to the club.”

```
                Her uncle knocked on her door. All the boyfriends piled behind him, plus Youngmin. Donghyun was in front, almost guarding the younger ones. Seh Lyung had kept herself in her room since last night. She hadn’t locked the door, but everyone knew they shouldn’t be bothering her.
                Jeongmin made a face. “Is she really that influenced by Kwangmin?”
                “Maybe we should leave.” Youngmin mumbled, unsure of their tactics.
                “We need to know that our girlfriend’s okay.” Hyunseong reasoned.
                “Is that why we exist?” he looked back and forth between all the people in the hallway for verification. They all nodded, but Youngmin still couldn’t believe it. “Are Kwangmin and I… Seh Lyung’s girlfriend?”
                “Back off.” Jeongmin butted in, giving a hard look to Youngmin. “And it’s best you don’t tell anyone about this. The four of us and only the four of us were assigned to be her boyfriend.”
                “Hush.” Donghyun said, rolling his eyes. “Two more isn’t going to kill her, she’s already used to it. Besides, she already likes them a lot.”
                “Hyung!” Jeongmin pouted, crossing his arms.
                “Really!?” Bewildred, Youngmin’s jaw dropped twice—one for himself and one for his brother.
                “Don’t touch my girl.” Jeongmin warned once again, his eyes sparked with danger.
                K.Will pressed his ear to the door, hearing the faint footsteps of his niece. “Go downstairs.” He ordered them.
                “But hyungnim—”
                “She won’t come out if you’re here. Go to the lab, prepare for your tune-ups.” Since it was their owner, there were no objections as the five reluctantly filed out. Once they were gone, the door opened to reveal Seh Lyung, who pretty much looked like a hot mess. Her hair was mussed up like she was struck by lightning. With chocolate brown eyes that were glazed with fatigue; at the very least it looked like she didn’t cry herself to sleep. Her uncle slowly stepped inside. “Hey kiddo.”
                “Good morning.” She said, although her morning didn’t sound too good. “How’s Kwangmin?” was the first thing she asked.
                Avoiding the question, Professor K.Will made a bee line for her bed, relaxing himself. “You really care about Kwangmin, don’t you?”
                Her eyebrows furred together. “I guess…”
                “More than 01 through 04?”
                A sad smile etched her face. “Maybe. I thought he was human…”
                “There’s nothing wrong about loving a robot.”
                “But there is.” Her voice was still raspy from just waking up, but she forced herself to talk. “How can I?”
                K.Will leaned over to plant a kiss on her forehead. “Why don’t you think about that? I came up to tell you that I’m going to give everyone some early repairs. Monthly tune-up. It’s best you’re not around for it, and go to school on your own.”
                Numb, she nodded, fishing around the closet for her uniform, which Donghyun had neatly ironed for her. Idle, she stared forlornly at her clothes. She knew that Donghyun wouldn’t be around to teach her the new lesson for today. But half of her didn’t want him around either, she wanted to be alone no matter how much she would miss them.
                Before her uncle left her to change, he said off his shoulder, “Hang out with your girlfriends, okay?”
                Funny, because she wasn’t too sure if she had female friends.
                School was relatively boring for Seh Lyung, seeing as there were no Boyfriend antics for six hours. She hadn’t noticed how significant the six boys made in her life. The substitute that had taken over Donghyun’s place for the day had a voice so high her ears would’ve bled. And she didn’t just have to carry Minwoo, Youngmin, and Kwangmin’s homework home with her, but she was also carrying all of Hyunseong and Jeongmin’s heavy textbooks.
                Once the day was over, she gave herself some time to study in the school courtyard. She was off with her books, all strewn aside. She hiked Youngmin’s yellow scarf higher up her neck; the weather was a little cold but was decent enough for her to stay out. She drew little pictures in her notebook, becoming uninterested in her math sheet. She stared at the six stick figures she doodled, looking awfully familiar. Being reminded of the six boys at her house, she couldn’t help but feel how lonely she was without them.
                “What a cute drawing~” she looked up to find the beautiful Lee Ji Eun gazing at her preschool-skilled drawings. Seh Lyung quickly covered it up with her hands as her sunbae sat down next to her.
                “Hello Ji Eun-sunbae.” Ji Eun gave her a mock look of disapproval. “I—I mean unnie.”
                “I thought I’d find you here.” Ji Eun hugged her knees together. “Hyunseong and Jeongmin were both out today, Minwoo too.”
                Seh Lyung nodded. “They’re all having… check-ups.”
                “Wow.” Ji Eun gasp was so darn cute; any boy passing would’ve fainted. “They do everything together, don’t they? They even book their doctor’s appointments together.”
                “Yeah, it seems like they could’ve been born together.” Her voice was cloudy and dull.
                Ji Eun pouted, and lightly shook the girl’s shoulders. “Yah, stop frowning. It makes you look ugly.” When the younger girl didn’t answer, Ji Eun roughly pulled her off the ground. “Why don’t you hang out with me today?”
                She couldn’t go against her elder, could she? But Seh Lyung had no courage to make that pretty face frown, so she forced herself to follow Ji Eun to the coffee shop.
[Boyfriend Extra #1 – Youngmin’s First Tune-Up]
                “So… how does a tune-up work exactly?” Youngmin asked awkwardly, trying to seem completely calm about this. But of course, he had no idea what was coming to him. He was already wary by the fact that he had to miss school for this, thinking this was something painful or disabling to his body.
                Jeongmin was casually sifting through the pages of a magazine, looking at all the models. Youngmin in fact found that very strange, since Jeongmin was usually never looking so intently at things other than Seh Lyung. “You see, it’s a long process…” he drawled dramatically, flipping another page. “First, hyungnim makes you take off your pants and touches your—”
                In a matter of seconds, the magazine flew of off Jeongmin’s grasp and into Hyunseong’s control, being rolled up in a tube and smacked upside Jeongmin’s head. “Shut up. Don’t make Youngmin listen to your bad jokes.”
                “The head is very sacred in Korean culture, you know.” Jeongmin replied haughtily, snatching away the magazine back to his side.
                “Yeah?” Hyunseong rolled his eyes. He turned to Youngmin, feigning a smile. “Don’t worry about a thing, Youngmin-ah. You basically do nothing for a good few hours.”
                Relieved, Youngmin nodded eagerly. Youngmin was happy to have such a reliable hyung like Hyunseong around. But he couldn’t help but glance around the room towards Minwoo, who was quiet the entire time. He had heard from Jeongmin that Hyunseong and Minwoo got into a little fight, but was still cloudy to the reason why.
                Minwoo shuffles next to the blonde, poking his shoulder. “Nervous?”
                “Not as much as I was before.” Youngmin admitted honestly, shrugging his shoulders. “Is there any reason why Hyunseong-hyung is still mad at you?”
                The little boy quirked his eyebrows at the question, and was half-expecting it. “I don’t know. Apparently he’s pretty mad that I like IU-noona.”
                So much for faithful boyfriend. Youngmin brushed off the thought, and decided to keep his eyes focused on K.Will and Donghyun. They were rushing down the stairs, just like professor and assistant. K.Will stopped as Jeongmin reached out and pointed to a picture in his magazine. “I want hair like this.” He stated, and Youngmin thought that was the most random thing he had heard all day.
                K.Will annoyed him and looked toward Youngmin. “I think we’ll work on Youngmin first, right? Because he seems long overdue.” Donghyun nodded, in reply. K.Will coughed, trying to keep up with the professionalism. “Are you ready, 05?”
                Youngmin could only flinch. The feeling of being referred to by a number was far from pleasant. In a matter of seconds he could feel his body growing weaker and weaker, and he had a hunch K.Will was making him sleepy…
```

                “Wake up, Youngminnie~” sang the voice of Hyunseong.

                He slowly fluttered his eyes open. He was in the same position he was in when K.Will had powered down. Youngmin’s eyes darted to his hands, and everything still seemed intact. Then he looked towards the small window near the ceiling, it was getting to midday. He wasn’t in pain; in fact it was just like taking a little nap. He finally looked up, greeted with the faces of the Boyfriends. “Whoa…”

                “Why are you looking at us like that?” Donghyun asked.

                It was just so weird. It was like everyone went to the salon. Donghyun’s hair was longer, and darker. Hyunseong’s hair was relatively the same, give or take that he put his bangs up. Jeongmin’s hair looked exactly like he depicted in the magazine he had earlier, lighter and volumized. And Minwoo’s hair had been dyed lighter and was waved to the side. He watched Jeongmin full of vanity as he stared at himself through a mini-mirror he held.

                Youngmin’s hand went instinctively to his hair, almost petting it. It was definitely fluffier. He snatched away Jeongmin’s mirror and gaped. His hair was no longer platinum blond, but a dirty brown. “Don’t you dare tell me the reason I’m being repaired was to change my hair style.”

                “Synthetic hair only lasts so long.” K.Will shrugged.

                “I will say one thing,” and Youngmin held up a finger to prove his emphasis. “I look like a freaking poodle.”

So the Boyfriend short wasn't as funny as I wanted it to. Anyways... I was just sad that this chapter was barely 1200 words, so I decided to add something extra. So, almost 80 subscribers... what did you think of Boyfriend W Academy?

When Jeongmin was speaking English I kept thinking about how rude he was to the teacher, or maybe I was just jealous he was smooth-talking her XD Well played, my boy.

Then I totally expected Minwoo to blow the teacher away with his English skills, but of course it was cut off. "Why do you like SHINee?" .

"Uhm...--" THEN I FREAK OUT. Apparently he had facebook and twitter before, so he should be fairly good in the lauguage, at least conversational. But I have no solid proof, so yeah.

And you know that UCC Mission thing for the fans that's on the mnet site? I'm totally thinking of doing that, no joke. I'm already practicing Minwoo's litle 45-second dance. I might win something, and then Boyfriend will notice me XD So if I do upload it, I'm counting on my subscribers to pass it along. Are you guys curious to see what I look like? Hmm? Hmm? No? K.

bluedragon: Ji Eun is definitely a sweetie pie. I feel bad that I'm so jealous of her talent and beauty. I know, about the phone thing... gah, it was so rushed. Bad author. Fighting, one day you shall win one of my contests!

Minkwang_: You just said "I'll hit you." do you mean me or Minwoo :O

ELFyourface: Everyone's turning against Minwoo now XD Ootokeehhhh~

TabzzVee: I would never be able to get mad at Minwoo! He's my bias too (winning narrowly against Jeongmin) it's probably why I tried making him the bad boy in this story, I needed to distance myself from my obsession with him, ahah.

Superdbskjunior: I have bad vision, I wish I got better seats. I could barely see them. But trust me, it doesn't matter as long as they are right there, AHHH!

kimhyunwoos_: Oh Minwoo, what have you/I done. THANK YOUUU. Omo, I loved my Hyunseong one shot this time.

trish_042405: I am a hardcore Minwoo lover, you cannot touch my boy, haha. You ship everyone with Seh Lyung? I don't mind if you do. I really wish to encorporate more Hyunseong in this fic, but everytime I try I'm like "He wouldn't do that," or  "That won't fit in the plot" I love Hyunseong to death but it's just so hard to place him. And thanks, I hope I get featured too :) But to be honest I don't think so. I mean, It's always those "you" fics with the multiple confusing POV's and flashing colors that get featured. No offense to anyone who does write those. Sometimes the ultimate grammar-hugging fanfictions with no character profiles and pretty pictures are terribly underrated. Darn it, I gave a long reply XD

janlauricebautista: Thank you ate!

B-HorromiChan: I love how everyone's hating Minwoo. Even though he's my bias XD I love how I'm able to capture emotion more!

ringgoB: Thank you!

Lilmisschique: Wake up, Kwangmin! Maybe if all 79 subscibers chant Kwangmin's name I'll make him wake up sooner... I hate gossip and mean people, it's happened to me before. I snapped at this bully and she told everyone I was flat and ugly. I mean... I guess I can't give you proof since you don't know how I look like, but... ANYWAYS. Glad you liked the chapter!

Ranvadew: Fan? I have a fan? YAYYY! Thanks!

minwoo: Thank you so much! <3
