Both of us decided not to tell anyone about the engagement yet, no one really questioned the ring and I had managed to convince my dad in keeping it a secret from everyone else until the engagement party. Sehun asked about the ring, but he just assumed it was from my dad considering it didn’t look like an engagement ring, and Sehun was the one I was worried about the most.

                No one really asked Luhan why he had disappeared either; they just assumed that he didn’t want to talk about it. So when the engagement party finally came around, I was beginning to feel the nerves, we had invited all of our friends, well Luhan did, he managed to get away with saying to them it was an event, he didn’t specify either.

                My father played it off to everyone else that we were just invited because Mr Lu was his client and he had to take care of Luhan too.

But once I was in the venue, I felt nerves beyond belief.

Sehun frowned at me, “What is up with you?”

“What?” I stared at him, “Nothing,”

Jimin narrowed his eyes at me, “You’ve been acting weird since we got here,”

D.O came over and smiled, “Luhan wants to talk to us,” he then looked at Jimin, “You too,”

Sehun placed his hand on my back as he moved me towards the group, “We’re not done with this discussion Sara,”

“Oh I think we will be,” I muttered as we reached the others,

Kai smirked at Luhan, “We’re all here now, and so what is it,”

Luhan fidgeted with the ring I gave him for Christmas, “I lied to you,”

“About what?” Xiumin frowned,

Luhan swallowed harshly, “About this event, it’s actually my engagement party,”

“What?” Suho frowned, “But… you seem happy about it,”

Sehun went rigid as he slowly looked down at me, I gave him a pleading look and he rolled his eyes and kept quiet.

“But… who is it?” Chanyeol asked,

Luhan rubbed his neck as he swiped his tongue across his lips, he stepped towards me and grabbed my hand, pulling me to his side, “It’s Sara,”

Kris let out a laugh, “Don’t kid around Luhan it’s not funny,”

“Actually,” I bit my lip, “It’s true,”

Kai’s expression dropped, “But… I… how?”

“My father arranged it,” Luhan told them, “It was Sara’s decision, and if she didn’t marry me I’d have to marry someone else,”

Baekhyun let out a sigh of relief, “Oh so it’s just for show,”

“No,” Luhan shook his head, “I love Sara,”

Lay blinked, “I did not see this coming,”

“How the hell didn’t you?” Amber rolled her eyes; she came up to me and hugged me, “Congrats guys,”

Kris frowned, “You knew?”

“Well she did tell me that Luhan was the guy she dated back in the summer,” Amber muttered,

Jimin widened his eyes, “That was you?!”

“This is just getting weirder by the minute,” Tao shook his head, “I’m living in a weird world,”

I sighed, “At least it’s not Krystal,”
