When I woke up the next day, I was sick but there was no way in hell I was going to miss out on school. After all I still had an image to uphold, I got dressed and almost fell over when I left my bedroom to see Sehun standing there.
His eyes widened at me, “Sara? Are you… are you alright?” he reached out and placed his hand to my forehead, “Oh my god, you’re burning up,”
“I’m fine,” I sniffled as I removed his hand, “Let’s just go,”
“No,” He caught my hand before I moved past him, “If you’re going to school, I’m going to drive you at least,”
I raised an eyebrow at him, “Why?”
“What if you get into an accident because you’re sick?” He sighed, “Come on; let’s go get something healthy for you to eat,”
I scrunched my nose up in protest, “That’s no fun,”
“I don’t know what happened yesterday Sara,” Sehun said as he pulled me down the stairs, “But you got sick because of it, and I don’t care how much you protest, I’ll take care of you,”
I stared at Sehun’s back in awe, “Sehun…”
Luckily for me, Sehun’s idea of a healthy breakfast considered of one piece of fruit and a yogurt with a side of orange juice. He then tucked my lunch into my bag for me and pulled me out of the door.
I was a little sad that I wasn’t going to be driving my car today but I knew he was right, I was sick and maybe it was too dangerous for me to be driving it. The whispers that came with me coming out Sehun’s car was immediately ignored by me, even after I had entered the school and I heard shouts coming from behind me,
“Sara!” Xiumin called out, “Good god you’re walking fast!” he caught up to me and pulled my arm to stop me, “What’s up with your car? It’s not –” he stopped when he noticed how pale I looked, “Sara… you… you look really unwell,”
I sniffled slightly, “Yeah well… that’s what happens when you stand outside for too long with no coat, what’s up Xiumin?”
“Stand outside?...” He frowned, “Uh yeah… where’s your car?”
“Well I’m sick,” I told him, “And…” Damn it what do I say now? “My dad wouldn’t let me drive,”
Xiumin nodded, “Oh I see, but if you’re sick why are you here?”
“I told you,” I rolled my eyes, “I have an image to uphold and my grades are important,”
“Sara,” Xiumin used his actually really nice cold hands to feel my forehead and immediately retracted them with a hiss, “Holy crap you’re burning up something terrible,”
I laughed, “I’m just that hot,” I shrugged, “That and your hands are freezing Xiumin, you need gloves,” I grabbed his hands and rubbed them,
He blushed, “Sara… you should go home,”
“Eh?” I raised an eyebrow at him, “No I don’t, don’t be stupid,” I dropped his hands and patted him on the shoulder, “See you,” I turned around and started walking again, turning sharply into my classroom,
Xiumin followed me of course, “Sara you’re literally burning up, you’re going to over exert yourself,”
“I’m not,” I muttered as I sat down, earning a concerned look from both Amber and Chen,
Chen frowned, “What’s going on?”
“She’s sick,” Xiumin told him as he crouched down next to my desk, “Like literally burning up to the point where she wasn’t allowed to drive her own car this morning,”
Amber swirled around and immediately latched her hand to my forehead, “Oh my go
