The next day even though Sehun was reluctant to drop me off at my school because he didn’t want me anywhere near Luhan after how he reacted the day before, he promised he’d be outside of my school the minute it was released and then drove off.
I moved towards the entrance of the school, tugging my collar up higher to hide the bruises from what Kangin had made the night before, I wasn’t that surprised to see them all waiting for me but I just shoved past them, a part of me wanted to quit racing, but then memories of my brother swarmed my head and I knew it wasn’t that easy.
Driving was my escape from the inevitable truth of my brother’s death, it was my own personal addiction that I craved and no matter what happened, I knew I couldn’t give it up.
“Sara please,” Lay grabbed my wrist just before I moved towards my classroom, forcing me to stop, “We’re so sorry for Luhan’s behaviour last night we –”
“It’s fine,” I said in a monotone voice, “I don’t expect anything from anyone, if he wants to race for me then I don’t care,”
“Don’t join Kai’s team, please,” Kris pleaded, “We need you,”
I looked up at him, “A bet is a bet Kris,”
“Please Sara,” Xiumin frowned,
I shook my head, “See you around,” I shrugged out of Lay’s grip, as I turned around I spotted Luhan looking at me with a shocked expression, I pulled my collar up once more before entering the classroom.

Later that day I was pretty aware of a commotion going on outside of the school, I had heard it all the way from my classroom but when I got outside I didn’t expect it to be Luhan and Kai practically fighting on school grounds.
I ran over to them both and shoved them apart, “This is ing school, don’t do this sort of here,”
“I don’t give a ,” Kai snapped as he walked towards Luhan again, I stood in the way and pushed him back, he jabbed a finger at Luhan, “You’re lucky I don’t murder you,”
