I stayed home sick for the rest of the week, I knew that I couldn’t miss out on the annual and I was already better by the end of Thursday, I just didn’t want to go to school to see Luhan, or anyone else for that matter.
I ignored the calls from my phone; unless it was Sehun or Amber, as much as I got on with D.O, Xiumin and Suho, I just didn’t feel up to talking to anyone else. When Sehun came home from school, he stayed with me to watch films and kept me company considering I had spent the entire day on my home.
But when it came to Friday, he called me to tell me that he had to go straight to the garage and asked for me to cover for him. So I went into his room, locked the door before climbing over his balcony to my own, telling my parents that Sehun was feeling sick, which gave him an extra excuse for the race tomorrow too.
So now I had to go to the annual at the Royals by myself.
Instead of going for shorts, I wore black leather trousers with a pair of biker boots, an off the shoulder long t-shirt with a black leather jacket on top. I tied my hair up and back, choosing the same kind of smoky eye effect that Amber always used before I snuck out of my room, giving my parents the excuse that I wanted to rest and catch up on homework.
I parked my car next to Chen’s car, opting to get as far away from Luhan’s as possible.
Xiumin opened my car door for me and raised an eyebrow, “Well don’t you look great tonight?”
“Thanks,” I slid out of the car and he shut the door for me,
He reached out and pressed his hand to my forehead, “You have no fever,”
“Yeah well I used today to rest so that I could be alright to race tomorrow,” I told him,
He smiled, “Good girl,”
“Sara!” Kai’s voice penetrated my ear drums, he stopped in front of me and whistled, “Well… hello,”
I rolled my eyes, “Put your jaw back in Kai,”
“It’s good to see you looking so well,” D.O said appearing behind him,
“There she is!” Chen said moving from the group, causing them all to notice me and come towards me, “Well if we don’t look beautiful this evening,”
“Thank you Camel,” I muttered, “I’m feeling fine by the way,”
“Did you get here okay?” Lay asked,
I nod
