When I got home, Sehun was waiting for me to open my bedroom door so he could hug me for how successful it all was. He left shortly afterwards, complaining about a dull ache on his scar. When I closed the door and turned back around, I was startled to see Luhan leaning against the now closed balcony doors.
I locked my bedroom and raised an eyebrow, “What are you doing here?”
“I’ve spent two months,” He muttered, “Worrying to the point where I thought my heart was broken,”
I sighed, “I’m sorry,”
“My father called me,” he said as he slowly removed his shoes and jacket, “Do you know what he said to me?”
I blinked, “No?”
He moved towards me with a smirk, “I’m not engaged anymore,” he cupped my face, “I’m free because of you,” he placed his forehead to mine,
“Well you can’t be engaged to someone who’s going to a juvenile detention center for attempted murder on my life,” I laughed,
He caressed my face, bringing his hand up to brush my hair back behind my ear, “If I had known…”
“I know,” I told him, “No one did,”
He brought his thumb up to the scar on my eyebrow, “I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you,”
“It takes more than that to get rid of me Luhan,” I smiled at him, “I think you should know better by now,”
He smiled, “Well I won’t let you go again,” he cupped my face again, “This time I will fight for you,”
I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck; instead of answering him I pulled his face closer to mine, pressing my lips to his, finally. He removed his hands from my face and wrapped them around my waist.
He smiled into the kiss as he lifted me, moving me towards the bed, letting us both fall. He released my lips and laughed to himself.
“I feel… so carefree,” He said as he tucked my hair behind my ear again,
I smiled at him, “Good,”
“I just hope it lasts,” He told me, “My father is sceptical, he said that he can’t trust his own judgement anymore when it comes to his own choices because it seems like no matter how hard he digs, people have a past that he can’t find,”
I shrugged, “That’s a good thing though,”
“I know,” He said, “Even if he does… I’ll tell him no, when… when you went off that barricade, I honestly felt like the world got a little
