Parallel Lines
The rest of that week passed by in a blur and soon enough we were heading back home, I sat on the back row of the bus, wedged between both Luhan and Sehun, D.O and Xiumin sat on either side of them and on the two last seats sat Lay and Suho.
“Christmas is soon,” Kai spoke up from the seat in front, “Did you guys want to do something?”
Baekhyun smirked, “Ice skating,”
“Yes!” A few of them agreed,
There was something I needed to do before Christmas came along, it was only in five days but I needed to head back down south.
“Depends when you guys want to go,” I told them as I concentrated on my own hands,
Kris shrugged, “I’ll go when you guys, how about this Monday? We still have a race to do tomorrow…”
“I can’t make the race tomorrow,” I muttered sullenly, “Sorry,”
Kai turned in his seat to look at me, “What? Really?”
I nodded, “Yeah I have to head out of town tomorrow,”
“That’s abrupt,” Luhan aired,
D.O shrugged, “We can still race, and it’ll be fine,”
“So Wednesday for ice skating?” Lay brought the topic up again,
Out the corner of my eye I could see Sehun giving me a slight frown of confusion, of course he wouldn’t know why I wanted to go back, I didn’t have to go out of town tomorrow but I wanted to… no… I guess a part of me really did need to.

When we got back home, and I put my suitcase away I fiddled with my phone as I compiled a group text together, just as I hit send, Sehun came into my room.
“You didn’t tell me that you were going out of town tomorrow,” he sat down on the bed next to me,
I smiled sheepishly, “I have to go back down south,”
“Why? Is it important?” he questioned,
I sighed, “Every Christmas I go to see my brother’s grave with his friends, it’s been a tradition since he died,”
“What?” Sehun wrapped an arm around my shoulders, “Why didn’t you say anything? I could come with you,”
“Kai would be two racers down,” I told him, “It’ll be fine,”
He sighed, “You’ll call me when you get there okay though right?”
“Of course I will,” I smiled sadly at him, “Win the race for me okay?”
He laughed, “I’ll do my best,”
So the next day I told my parents of my plans and they agreed completely, I hugged Sehun goodbye before I got into my car and left, on my way out of town I managed to drive past not only Amber’s garage, but Kai’s. Of course everyone was in there preparing for the race later on that day; none of them noticed me drive past in my Chrome beauty.
The moment I hit my home town, I stopped off at a flower shop to buy some white lilies, placing them on the passenger seat before I drove towards the graveyard. I already spotted all of the familiar cars, leaning against them were my brothers six cherished friends.
I parked my car and got out with the lilies in hand before I ran straight into the hands of Taecyeon, Junho removed the lilies from my hands just before I flew into his arms.
“Hey now,” Taecyeon rubbed my back soothingly, “It’ll be okay, we
