Parallel Lines
Three days after Christmas, and we all met up at Amber’s garage, I wore my new jewellery with pride and every time one of the guys noticed their gifts, they smiled at me. But my eyes were constantly on Luhan and the fact that he had brought me a Cartier love ring.
“What are you all doing for new year’s?” Amber asked as she checked out my car,
Kris shrugged, “I think my parents are going to some event, but I’m really not sure,”
“Okay let me rephrase that,” Amber rolled her eyes as she stood up straight, “Who is free for New Years?” Everyone raised their hands and Amber sighed, “Then let’s do something together,”
“Sounds good to me,” Chanyeol wrapped an arm around my shoulder, “Especially if my little –”
Kai pulled Chanyeol away from me, “Yours?”
Chanyeol coughed awkwardly, “Uh I meant ours,”
I sighed, “Goodness,”
“So what do you have in mind?” D.O asked Amber,
Amber shrugged, “We could throw a party at one of the garages,”
“I have a better idea,” Suho stood up and smoothed out his shirt, “I have a free house, but you guys can’t make a mess,”
“Well then party at yours,” Chen smirked,
I rolled my eyes as I pulled out my phone which was going off, walking away from them as I answered it, “Hello?”
“Sara!” Jimin’s voice came through the phone, almost deafening me in the process.
I blinked harshly, “Ow, what the hell? You almost deafened me!”
“I-I…” Jimin stuttered,
I went rigid, “You’re beginning to scare me,”
“Sara please… we… we got into a fight and they won’t stop,” Jimin said as he panted down the phone,
My mind went blank, “Where are you?” I moved towards my car, “Tell me where you are right now!”
“The abandoned car park… near –” The line went dead,
Sehun frowned, “Sara what’s wrong?”
“I have to go,” I shoved my phone into my pocket as I opened the car door, “My brother is in trouble,”
“Wait what?” Luhan stared at me in shock, “Wait Sara we could help,”
I wasn’t thinking straight as I grabbed the bat from the other side of the garage and got into my car, shoving the bat into the passenger seat, ignoring the guys completely before I backed out of Amber’s garage.
