Parallel Lines
The next day when I got to school, Luhan text me before I even got into class to tell me where to meet him after school. I had already informed Sehun the night before that I was meeting up with a classmate about a project, okay so it was a lie but Sehun didn’t need to know the absolute truth.
Chen raised an eyebrow as I sat down with a wide smile, “You seem perky,”
“Ah,” I turned to give him a smile, “It’s called happiness Chen,”
He blinked, “You called me Chen,”
“Would you rather I call you Camel?” I teased,
He broke out into a smile, “You have no idea how happy it makes me for you to be teasing me,”
“Well spread the joy and all that,” I laughed,
Amber turned around to look at me in shock, “Well run me over and call me road kill, you’re being civil with him, what’s up with you?”
“I had a movie night,” I then remembered they didn’t know that Sehun lived with me, “With my brother, it’s rare that we bond and do things normal people do,”
Chen smiled, “I’m happy for you,”
“Thanks,” I laughed,
Amber smiled too, “Well as long as you’re happy,”
I had happiness basically radiating from my pours through-out the entire day, so at Lunch when everyone was sat around the table they eyed me with curiosity,
“Wow… I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile so much,” Xiumin blinked,
I shrugged, “Good things do happen,”
“She didn’t call me Camel once today,” Chen said happily,
Luhan laughed, “It’s weird what makes you happy Chen,”
“I want to see how far I can go,” Lay said beside me, “Can I have a hug?”
Tao frowned, “You’re really asking for it aren’t you?”
“Good luck with that,” Kris rolled his eyes,
A part of me just wanted to prove them wrong, but I was genuinely that happy that instead of answering him, I just hugged him, “Thanks, I needed one,”
Lay blinked; slowly he reciprocated, “Well damn,”
