I started packing to leave for Daegu. I was going to leave in 3 hours. I was scared and sad. I really don’t know what to do. I wasn’t going to be in Daegu for long, but I really hadn’t thought about the impact that “seeing” my parents would have for me. Still I knew I had to do it.

“Hi Hyunjae,” A voice said from behind me, as I was packing. I looked over to see Hyunmin.

“Hey… you going to say bye?” I asked. He shrugged.

“I’m wondering if I should say bye or tease you,” He confessed. I rolled my eyes and threw a pillow at him.

“I should’ve figured that much from you,” I commented. He chuckled and sat down on a chair in my room.

“I just wanted to tell you to be careful and comeback safe because if you don’t I won’t have anyone to pick on anymore,” He warned me. I laughed.

“Is that all you ever think about,” I muttered. Then he stood up and walked next to me.

“Actually I do think about more than that,” He replied. I looked at him curiously.

“Oh really? And what exactly do you think about then?” I wondered. He smirked and got dangerously close to me. I was curious as to what he was going to do. My heartbeat shot up 100 beats per minute as he got closer to me. He was literally an inch away from my face when the door creaked open.

“Hey Hyunjae…oh am I interrupting something?” Mika asked, smirking at us. I pulled away and looked over at Mika.

“No not at all… what were you saying?” I asked. Mika chuckled.

“Karam is downstairs. They are ready to leave,” He said. I nodded and closed my suitcase. I smiled over at Hyunmin and walked over to Mika to give him a hug.

“Take good care of yourself okay,” He told me. I nodded.

“Will do bro. Oh and no playa playa things while I’m gone,” I warned him. He laughed and nodded as I walked towards my parents.

“So are you going to tell me you don’t like my sister?” Mika shot at Hyunmin as soon as Hyunjae was out of earshot.

“I’d be a liar if I said I didn’t,” Hyunmin responded, earning a chuckled and a pat on the back as they walked down to see Hyunjae leave.

“I won’t tell her,” He whispered to Hyunmin as they got closer.

“Alrighty, I’ll be back soon,” I announced to everyone. They all waved and I walked away with Karam and his aunt. When I got in his car and watched my house disappear I soon started to feel nervous.

“Are you sure you’re ready for this?” Karam asked me. I nodded.

“Yeah…. I need to do this so I can move on,” I responded. He nodded and we continued on our ride of silence to the airport. Then my phone went off.

Since you’ll be gone I’ll periodically bother you here

 I know you miss me. We’ll continue our conversation

I don’t know why but I smiled. I wanted to ask how he got my number, but I almost didn’t care. I liked the feeling that Hyunmin gave me. Lately, it was the only thing I seemed to take comfort in.

Hyunmin… could it be that I have a crush on you?

So I know it's short but i finally got an idea on what I'm going to do to this story so I hope
