RRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!

The alarm clock nearly breaks my eardrums. I reach for it as I roll on my side. I look at the time.

"Oh shoot," I say under my breath.

I fly off from the bed, grab my school uniforms, and rush into the bathroom. It's weird, no one came to wake me up. Not even XiuMin oppa...

I calmly open the bathroom door after getting ready. I head downstairs, and stop in the middle of the stairs. The boys are talking in an unnaturally serious tone.

"So, that's it? Nothing else?" Kris oppa asks.

"That's all I heard," Kai replies.

"Does that mean we can stay here?" D.O asks.

"I think so," Kai answers.

"Isn't that weird, though? I thought we were going to get punished again," ChanYeol says.

"Awwww.... I don't want to be punished...." BaekHyun comments.

"Yeah... Once is enough..." Chen agrees.

Punished? Again? I don't want to be nosey, but I'm really curious. 

I almost lose my balance. The wooden stair creeks. The boys look this way at once.

"Oh, good morning, _______-ya," SuHo oppa greets, with a smile.

"Good morning," I reply.

"What are you doing there? Come down, you'll be late for school," Lay oppa suggests. I nod and slowly go down the stairs.

"Here's your lunch," XiuMin oppa says, handing me my lunch bag. I thank him. "Alright, time for school, kids!"

"Right! Let's go!!!" ChanYeol exclaims.

The younger ones and I all leave the house.

At school, the boys are back to normal, not in their serious state, but it feels like it's a forced expression.

Still wondering what they were up to, I head to my part-time with BaekHyun, D.O and Chen.

BaekHyun's phone rings. "Yoboseyo~?" he answers. We keep walking.

BaekHyun keeps quiet. His expression turns a bit dark.

"OK.... Yes.... Uhuh, OK. See you," he ends. He turns to me. "_______-ya, I'm sorry, but can you work alone today? We have to go back home first. SuHo hyung says it's important..."

"Um, sure... I'll tell Hyun oppa something came up," I reply.

"Thanks," he says. "Alright, let's go."

As their backs get smaller and smaller, I start to feel fuzzy.

I feel like they're hiding something from me... I mean, I don't have the right to know every single thing in their lives, but still... I'm kind of worried.

Han oppa, you can read my mind, right? Please tell me if anything is wrong... It's... not fun when you guys are so serious...
