"_______-YA! LET'S GO OVER THERE NOW!!!" ChanYeol exclaims happily.

"ChanYeol, wait... Let's rest a bit first," I suggest, my breath slightly heavy.

"Oh! OK!!" he agrees.

We sit down on the soft green grass. I can hear ChanYeol's breath, also slightly heavy.

"Heeeeeeeey, look at that!" he exclaims, pointing at a butterfly. I laugh. He turns to me.

"You really never run out of energy," I say.

"Of course! I am the happy virus! I never run out of energy!!" he announces with a bright smile. We both chuckle.

I take out a water bottle from the bag. I take a sip, and pass it to ChanYeol. He drinks it, and then sighs.

"The river is really pretty..." he comments quietly. I nod.

We sit there silently, staring the sparkling river.

I peek over at ChanYeol's face. He has a calm expression, one he rarely shows, and his eyes are fixed on the water.

He suddenly bursts into laughter. Surprised, I blink.

"_______-YA! DON'T STARE AT ME LIKE THAT~!!" he says.

"What?" I ask.

"It makes me shy~" he answers, hiding his face with his hands. I chuckle.

"Sorry," I apologize.

He peeks through his fingers. "Why did you stare at me??" he asks.

"I don't know..." I shrug. "Maybe because I wanted to see another side of you," I answer honestly.

"Another side of me...?" he asks.

"Yeah. Like, your serious face, instead of your dorky smile that you usually have," I explain.

He pulls his hands down. His face is very serious.

"Like this?" he asks.

"Ye-yeah, like that," I answer.

We stare at each other's eyes for few seconds.

Then we both start laughing.

"OMG CANNOT!!!! YOUR FACE!!!!! JUST CANNOT!!!!!" I exclaim as I laugh.

Just as I am calming down, ChanYeol looks at me with a mysterious smile.

"_______-ya, I have something to give you," he says. I look at him curiously.

"JAJJANG~~~" he sings, pulling his hand from behind his back.

He opens his hand, revealing a small ring, made from flowers.

"Whoa.....!" I exclaim quietly. He smiles brightly.

ChanYeol takes my left hand, and slides the ring onto my pinky.

"There, yeah, it looks very beautiful," he says, satisfied. I chuckle.

"Thank you," I say, smiling warmly.

"Anything for you, ______," he says.

"That's so cheesy," I chuckle. He chuckles too.

He pulls me into a tight hug.

"I love you~" he says cheerfully.

I feel his heart skipping few beats.

"I love you too, our happy virus..." I reply, hugging him back.

His heartbeat speeds up as we hug, laughing.
