"_______-YA!!!!! COME DOWN HERE!!!! I HAVE A SURPRISE~~!!!!" Lay oppa exclaims from downstairs.

"OOOOOO WHAT IS IT?!" I reply, flying down the stairs.

He smiles. "THIS!!!!!" he says, pulling a pencil from behind his back.

"Is this.... the pencil I lost a week ago...?" I ask, carefully taking it in my hands.

"Well, not exactly...." he says sadly. "I've been looking for that pencil, but I couldn't find it, so I went and bought one from the store." His expression darkens.

"Did you look for it this whole week?" I ask.

"Yeah...." he nods. "Sorry I couldn't find it..." he apologizes.

I fling my arms around his neck.

"It's fine! I'm just happy enough that you took so much time to look for this one pencil," I say quietly.

"But... It's not the same," he insists.

"I don't care. This is more special than the last one," I say.

He finally gives in and hugs me back gently.

"Thank you SO much, Lay oppa," I say.

"It's nothing, compared to seeing your sad face when you're doing school work," he replies. I chuckle.

"The sad face was probably because I didn't want to do those work, though," I say. He chuckles.

"You still had a sad face~" he says. I laugh.

I bury my face into his shoulder. He buries his face into my hair.

"Did you change your shampoo?" he asks. I chuckle.

"Yea, it's the smell of the beach now," I answer.

"Ah~ That's why it smells so comforting..." he comments.

"Oppa, stop~ It tickles~" I say.

"Your hair is so soft..." he says, sounding sleepy.

"Ya, you can't sleep like this," I say.

"Mmhmmm," he replies.

"Ya~...." I sigh.

"_______-ya...?" he calls.

"Hm?" I answer.

"I love you..." he confesses sleepily.

"...I love you too, Lay oppa," I reply.

He rests his head on my head, falling asleep.

I keep standing, arms still around his neck, listening to the sound of his quiet and constant breathing.
