Christmas is coming soon. But there are still lots of pastries to be bake in the bakery. Since we are improving in business, we decided to add some sandwiches, coffee, tea and juices in addition to pastries. I even add macaroons to the menu. It took me days to learn how to bake them. And my, many of our customers order the macaroons the most and they love it. To celebrate the festive season, we decorated the bakery with Christmas decorations and added gingerbread cookies on the menu. I hope everyone buys them.

It was my lunch break. I sat down with Hae Rin to have a cup of coffee and a plate of sandwiches. We were thinking about what to do with our families during the holidays.

"The bakery looks pretty with the decorations," I said while admiring the beautifully decorated bakery. Hae Rin nodded her head in agreement. "That should be the way. Decorating the bakery according to the holidays."

"Christmas is around the corner. What are your plans for the holiday?" I asked.

"Joon Hun is planning to take us to a gourmet restaurant on the eve," she replied.

"That's nice," I said while sipping my coffee.

"What about you?" she asked.

"My in-laws are here. We'll be having dinner on the eve at our house," I replied.

Hae Rin began to sigh. "How nice to spend Christmas with your own husband and his parents."

"Yeah. It's my first Christmas with him," I sighed too. "I'll bring back some of the gingerbread cookies I bake. I hope they like them."

"If your customers love your pastries, I'm sure they will," she said.

On the eve of Christmas, we decided to close the bakery for two days to celebrate the holiday. Our employers need a holiday break too. We said our festive greetings before they leave for their homes. Both Hae Rin and I hugged each other. "I have to go home now. Merry Christmas, sis. Enjoy your time with your new family," she said.

"You too. Merry Christmas, unnie," I said back.

When I got home, snow began to fall from the sky. Sigh! How I love winter, especially during Christmas. I wish I could watch the snow fall longer. But I better get inside the house and warm myself up. Inside, my sister-in-law was decorating the Christmas tree with Eric, her son and my nephew-in-law. "The tree looks beautiful," I said as I took off my coat.

"I thought we might help set it up while we're here," said Ahra.

"Welcome home, yeobo. I didn't hear you come in," Kyuhyun called. I smile at him and kiss him. "I was helping omma prepare dinner for tonight." "That's rare. But thanks, yeobo," I said.

"Dinner is ready," I heard my mother-in-law calling. And we all gather together at the table to have our dinner. After that, we sang some Christmas carols with Kyuhyun playing the guitar. It was a fun night singing carols and spending time with my new family together. Suddenly, before we sang the next carol, Kyuhyun spoke up, "Attention, everyone. I would like to sing a song dedicated to the woman I love the most."

Aww! What a sweet husband I have. Singing a song dedicating to me. My in-laws started cheering for him as he strummed the guitar and started singing the song.
