“I don’t want to marry Kris……” You said

Kris almost got a heart attack, but he knew this day will come sooner or later.

“….at least not so quick. We didn’t have feeling for each other in the beginning, but we develop feelings for each other. I don’t know if we will be together forever, but I would like to try.” You said and you looked at Kris.

“So you would like to continue the arranged marriage.” Kris mom said happily.

“I would like to live like this a bit longer before I  decide to marry Kris or not. Are you okay with it?” You asked.

“Of course, you can. We love to.” Kris mom said with a smile.

“We won’t arrange any engagement party or marriage if you don’t like it.” Kris dad said

“Thank you” you said.

“Yi Fan, are you okay?  You are so silent.” Kris mom said worried.

“I am okay. I am only a bit tired.” Kris said.

“You must be tired of travelling. You can go rest in your room.” Kris mom said

You and Kris stood up and walked to your room. Kris hugged you from behind as soon as he closed the door.

“Baby, I almost got a heart attack when you said that you don’t want to marry me. I thought you will leave me.” Kris said and he hugged you tighter.

You loose Kris hugged a little bit and turned around.

“Why did you think that I will leave you? I already said I would like to try to accept your heart.” You said and you looked at Kris in the eyes.

“I-I” Kris stuttered “Do you really love me even if we didn’t have an arrange marriage?”

“I think so” you said while looking away

“You don’t love……. Lay?” Kris asked

“Lay just like a brother to me, because Henry is not around me. I don’t think Lay love me either” You said

“Lay is a really good friend. He keep his promise.” Kris muttered.

“What for promise?” you said

“Nothing. I am tired. I will go to rest.” Kris said and let you go.

Kris lay on his bed and you followed Kris to his bed.

“Tell me~” you whined while you were shaking Kris

“I’m tired.” Kris said

“You are dirty. You need to take a shower at least.” You said

“You first.” Kris said.

You pouted and walked to the bathroom. You shook Kris again after you took a shower.

“Kris, it’s your turn.” You said

Kris sighed and he got up from his bed. You lay on the bed when Kris was showering. You spread yourself as wide as possible when Kris was done showering.

“Keep your arms and legs with you. I would like to rest also” Kris said

“I won’t let you sleep on the bed as long as you don’t tell me the promise with Lay.” You said

“I don’t want to hurt you.” Kris said and he tried to push your arms and legs away, but you didn’t move an inch.

“Then tell me.” You said.

“First you need to promise me one thing.” Kris said.

“What is it?” you asked

“You need to promise me that you won’t leave me when you know the promise.” Kris said

You promised Kris after you thought for a while.

“Lay and I promised each other that when we fall in love with the same girl he will give up.” Kris said and you sat up.

“Why Lay needs to give up?” You asked.

“I made the same promise to Lay.” Kris said

“So….you both will give up?” you asked and Kris scratched the back of his neck.

“Something like that?” Kris unsurely said.

“Lay loves me?” you asked and Kris sat down beside you and he hugged you.

“Don’t leave me.” Kris said

“I don’t think Lay loves me.”  You said

“He admitted it.” Kris said
