The driver was driving you and Kris to the mansion from the airport.

 “I will go to the company. You can go home and rest.” Kris said and he instructed the driver to drive to the company.

“I will go with you.” You said

“You don’t have to.” Kris said

“I insist.” You said and Kris let a sigh.

Kris put the rabbit plushie out of his luggage when you arrived at the company.

“Give this to Lay and go to my office.” Kris ordered and he walked with you to the elevator.

You stepped out the elevator on the 15^th floor and you saw Qian.

“Jia! Long time no see. How are you?” Qian immediately asked

“I am very good. I just came back from Jeju Island.” You answered

“Oh really, I would like to go there also.” Qian said

“It was for business trip, but it was fun.” You said

“Your rabbit is really cute. Is it for me?” Qian asked with hopeful eyes.

“I’m sorry. It’s for Lay.” You said while you scratched the back of your neck and Qian pouted.

“Then you will treat me lunch tomorrow.” Qian said

“Okay.” You said with a smile

“Is Lay in his office?” You asked and Qian nodded.

You walked to Lay’s office and knocked

“Come in” you heard Lay said.

“Lay oppa!” you said and Lay got a little shocked.

“Oh, you’re back.” Lay said and you nodded

“Look what I got for you.” You said and you held the rabbit plushie before Lay.

“I’m not a kid, you know.” Lay said while he was scratching the back of his head.

“So you don’t like it? Kris won it specially for you, because it’s look like you” You said with a pout

“No, it’s not like that. I like it. I will keep it together with the unicorn.” Lay said and he accepted the rabbit plushie.

Then someone cleared his throat. You looked around and you saw Kris.

“What did I said?” Kris said

“I’m sorry. I’m done now.” You said and you walked to Kris.

“See you tomorrow.” You said to Lay

“See you tomorrow” Lay said

You walked with Kris to his office. Kris let you do simple task only, like bring him coffee and copy a file. Around 7 o’clock you and Kris packed your things and the driver drove you back to the mansion. Kris’s parents were already back from France also.

“Did you tell Jia?” Kris mom said when she saw us.

“What should I know?” you asked surprised.

“So you didn’t?” Kris mom said to Kris and Kris nodded

“Jia, we have something to tell you. Would you like to know it now or after the dinner?” Kris mom asked

“Mom~ we just arrived.” Kris whined

“Yi Fan, you promised us.” Kris mom said

“Let Jia change her clothes at least.” Kris said

“It’s okay. You can tell me after dinner.” You said

“Okay” Kris mom said and you and Kris walked to the bedroom.

“Is there something happened?” You asked

“Nothing. You will know after the dinner” Kris said

The dinner was really silent. Nobody spoke a word.

*what happened? I should choose before the dinner. Stupid me* you thought

After the dinner everyone walked to the living room and sat down. You sat beside Kris with Kris’s parents across you two.

“You know your parents company doesn’t need our help anymore, right?” Kris dad said and you nodded.

“Kris told me that when you were in Jeju Island.” You said

“And you earned even more money for our company than your parents company needed. “ Kris dad continued.

“Why didn’t you tell me that?” You asked Kris, but Kris didn’t reacted

“So we would like to cancel the arrange marriage. Please don’t misunderstand us. We really love you to be our daughter-in-law, but we know you don’t have feelings for each other. We would like you to be happy so we don’t want to force you to marry Yi Fan.” Kris mom said

You looked at Kris and then back at Kris’s parents like a lost puppy. You really didn’t know how to react.

“We want to let you choose.” Kris mom said.

“I don’t want to marry Kris………….
