Jia’s pov

Today, I left for Changsa. I'm not the only one who leaves. Kris parents left for business trip in America also. Kris will be alone for the whole week.

Lay’s parents already waited for Lay when you and Lay arrived at Changsa airport. Lay was very happy to see and hug his parents.

You cleared your throat, because you were standing a bit like a stranger at a family reunion.

“Oh, I’m sorry. This is Rong Jia Li Kris’s fiancé and these are my parents.” Lay introduced you

“Nice to meet you. You are so beautiful. I hope Yi Xing can find someone like you also.” Lay’s parents said and Lay blushed

“Mom~ Dad~” Lay whined and you laughed.

“I would like Yi Xing and you to stay at our place when you and Lay are in Changsa. Yi Xing grandparents really miss Yi Xing also. I really hope you don’t mind” Lay mom said

“It’s okay with me if we stay in a hotel if you mind.” Lay said

You know Lay missed his family very much and he really liked to stay with his parents for the whole week, so you agreed.

The house was not so big, but you can feel that it is a very warm house. The grandparents of Lay lived in the house also. When you arrived they warmly greeted you. You brought some red ginseng for Lay’s family also.

Lay’s mom cleaned the guestroom for you. You decided to go to the company tomorrow, so that Lay can be with his parents today. Lay didn’t want to bother so you and Lay went to the company only for a tour.

Days went very fast in Changsa. The project went very well also. Lay spent a lot time with his family. Tonight Lay brought you to the night market. You played a lot of games and you eat a lot delicious food. Without your knowing it was already past midnight. At this moment you suprisedly got a call from Kris.

“What are you doing now?” Kris immediately said when you accepted the call.

“I am with Lay at the night market.” You answered

“WHAT?!” Kris shouted through the phone and hung up

“Hello?” you said, but Kris already hung up

After Kris hung up Lay got a call. It was Kris also.

“Do you know it is already past midnight” Kris immediately shouted through the phone when Lay accepted the call.

“What is the problem with it?” Lay confusedly asked.

“You know it is not safe for a girl to be out after past midnight.” Kris irritably said

“Don’t worry, I am with Jia.” Lay innocently said

“Go back to the hotel NOW” Kris commanded and impressed the word ‘now’ and hung up.

With a sigh Lay brought you home. Because he knew that Kris didn’t let it down if he didn’t bring you home.

“I’m sorry” you apologized when you arrived at Lay’s parents’ house

“It’s okay. I can understand Kris. Good night.” Lay said

“Good night” you said and went inside your room.

“Why Kris did called me. He didn’t call me when I was in Shanghai” I muttered with a pout.

You changed in your pajama and lie down on your bed. Your phone rang when you almost fell asleep. You answered the phone without looked at the caller ID.

“Hello?” you sleepily said.

“Where are you?” Kris asked

“In my bed” you answered without thinking and you heard a sigh

“Where is the bed located?” Kris annoyingly said

“Lay’s parents ‘house.” You said

“Why…..”You tried to say, but Kris already hung up. You sighed, because you knew Kris was in his scary dragon mode again.

You turned in your bed and fell asleep.

The next day you woke up by a loud bang. You quickly walked out your room and you saw Lay’s grandma on the ground. You ran to her and you saw her unconscious. Lay dad quickly called the ambulance.

Lay and his mom went with the ambulance to the hospital. You went with his dad and grandpa with the car.

When you arrived you saw Lay sitting in the waiting room.

“Are you okay?” you carefully asked.

“I am okay. The doctor is checking on my grandma.” Lay said.

“Don’t worry. She will be fine.” You tried to cheer up Lay

“I don’t think I will go back to Korea on Sunday.” Lay said

“I understand. Can I stay with you?” you said

“But I don’t want to bother you. You can go back to Korea by yourself.” Lay said.

“I am worry about your grandma also. Please?” you begged

Lay sighed and agreed. “But how about Kris?” Lay said

“He wouldn’t mind. He doesn’t like me near him anyway.” You said
