Someone knocked on the door and you let a relieved sigh.

*saved by the bell knock* you thought

Kris’s mom opened the door.

“Oh sweetie, you are awake. Are you feeling better?”  Kris mom asked

“I feel a lot better now.” You said

“Good, I made some porridge for you.” Kris mom said

“Thank you.” You said and you walked out of the room with Kris mom.

*I really don’t know how to answer the question.* you thought

“Please sit down, I get the porridge for you.” Kris mom said

You messaged Lay when Kris mom was in the kitchen.

[10:06 PM] To Lay: Would you like to eat lunch with me today?

[10:10 PM] From Lay: Of course ^^ I pick you up at 1 PM?

[10:12 PM] To Lay: Okay

Then you felt someone sat beside you. You looked up and you quickly looked down when you saw Kris.

“I would like to take you out for a date today.” Kris said

“I-I’m sorry. I have already agreed with Lay to eat lunch together.” You said

“I go with you.” Kris said

“I-I just w-want to have l-lunch with L-Lay only.” You said

“I go with you.” Kris said a little louder

“b-but…” you said, but you got cut off by Kris mom

“Here is your porridge, sweetie.” Kris mom said

“Thank you. Today I am going to eat lunch with Lay.” You said

Kris mom nodded and said “Yi Fan, can you pick up my diamond bracelet at the jewelry shop for me?”

“Of course. I will go with Jia.” Kris said and he looked at you.

Around 1 PM Lay arrived at the mansion. You sneaked out of the mansion and you quickly stepped in Lay’s car.

“Hi, are you okay?” Lay asked

“Can we talk at a café?” you asked and Lay drove away.

Kris kept calling you, but you didn’t dare to pick up. You and Lay arrived at the café and you sat down.

“What’s wrong?” Lay asked

“Kris confessed to me after you went away.” You said

“How did he confessed to you?” Lay asked and you told him everything.

“hahaha…He is so silly and do you accept his heart?” Lay said.

“I don’t know. I never thought about it. I wanted only be friends with him when I accepted the arranged marriage.” You said

“You can think about it now. Just follow your heart. I will respect your choice. We remain friends right?” Lay said

“Thank you.” You said with a smile.

At this moment Lay’s phone rang and he picked up.

“Hi Kris.” Lay said

“Don’t say that I am with you” you whispered

“uhmm….No” Lay said

“okay, bye.” Lay said and he hung up the phone.

“Kris asked about your whereabouts. Why didn’t you allow me to say that I am with you?” Lay said

“I would like to think about the confession without Kris around me. Kris made me really tense and nervous.” You said

“Did you tell Kris about it?” Lay teased

“I didn’t really talk to him after he confessed to me. That’s why I sneaked out today. Actually he wanted to come along.” You said

A scary dragon stormed inside the café when you and Lay were eating lunch. You got scared and you kept looking down. The scary dragon sat beside you.

“Do you know how worried I was when you didn’t pick up your phone and Lay said that you wasn’t with him?” Kris said trying to keep his voice down as much as possible and you kept looking down.

“I-I’m sorry.” You stuttered

“Can we talk outside the café?” Lay asked Kris, but Kris just kept looking at you.

“Jia won’t sneaked away right?” Lay asked you and you nodded.

Kris sighed and he walked out with Lay.
