“I heard from Yoseob and Doojoon that you met up with a friend.” Kikwang muttered as the two of you were working on your homework together in your living room.

“It wasn’t Junhyung if that’s what you are wondering about.” You stretched out your arms, “I’m done, what about you?”

Kikwang nodded, “I’m sorry.”

You stood up with a hum and went to the kitchen to grab a water bottle for the both of you before returning to the living room. Kikwang took the water bottle from you with a quick ‘thank you’.

“Does it look like we’re together?” You asked, remembering what Hyunseung said to you earlier.

Kikwang choked on the water he was drinking and coughed for air as soon as you had asked. You gave him a strange look but realized that you did asked a weird question.

“Take your time to breath.” You couldn’t help but slightly smile.

“W-what makes you say that? Did Yoseob or Doojoon say something to you?” Kikwang asked as soon as he caught his breath.

You raised a brow seeing how flustered he was acting, “No, it was Hyunseung. What would Yoseob or Doojoon say to me?”

“Hyunseung? Who is he?” Kikwang tried to change the subject.

Kikwang was confused that someone he didn’t know would think that you and him were together, although it’s not as if he didn’t want it to happen.

“Someone I met when I was still dating Junhyung and became friend with. Apparently, he thinks that there is something more to us since I did talk about you a lot when I was with Junhyung and also by how close we are now, seeing how we did had no contact for a while.” You took a sip of your water.

“You talked about me?” Kikwang asked, blushing.

“Well, of course I would talk about you a lot. Hyunseung even reminded me that Junhyung and I would get into an argument over you.” You shook your head when you remembered how childish Junhyung would be.

Although KIkwang didn’t like the fact that you were talking about the time when you were still with Junhyung, he did wanted to hear more of the things that involved him. One of them was the argument you had about him.

“Why?” Kikwang just couldn't help it that his curiosity wanted to know.

“Hm, let me think for a bit. Oh yeah, it’s because Junhyung would always get mad that I talk about you a lot in front of him. Said that I shouldn’t be talking about another man.” You played with your ear.

Kiwang nodded, feeling sort of happy, “Oh.”

“I mean, what’s there to be mad about. You’re important to me so of course I would want him to know about you, too. I like you just as much as I like him or maybe even more, I don’t know.” You shrugged.

Kikwang covered half of his face due to the embarassment and also the heat that was rising to his head. He could feel imaginary steam escaped his red face from being too flustered. However, you didn’t pay much attention to his reaction.

“You like me more than Junhyung?” Kikwang mustered all his courage to ask.

You gave him a look, “If I didn’t, you wouldn’t be here right now, would you?”

“As a friend or more?” Kikwang stared at you dead in the eye.

You paused for a bit, taken back at what Kikwang had just asked you. It was just like what Hyunseung had asked you.

“I like being with you, however, isn’t that what it means to be best friends?” You sincerely asked.

“Wait…yes, being best friends means you trust each other and are comfortable with each other but I’m asking if you feel more for me?” Kikwang tiredly rubbed his eyes.

“Like romantically?...I never thought about it.” You stated.

Kikwang sat up straight and leaned in closer to you, “You said you like me more that you liked Junhyung, right?”

You nodded, still not understanding what he meant.

“Doesn’t that mean…that you do like me romantically?” Kikwang couldn’t help but hope that it was true.

“I don’t know.” You shrugged.

“So, what happens if I just kiss you right now?” Kikwang was really pushing his luck but he didn’t care if it meant that you felt the same as him.

You leaned back away from him, still trying to grasp the situation. You were trying to figure out your feelings but like you told both Hyunseung and Kikwang, you never thought about it. Therefore, everything was confusing you to the point that it was exhausting. 

“Does that mean you like me more than a friend? Like a lover?” You asked when you saw the way Kikwang was looking at you.

For the first time, you paid attention to Kikwang’s reaction and you knew your answer without him even answering you. Truthfully, Kikwang was too shock to even answer himself anyway.

“Let me think about it.” Was all you said to him.

After that, you made Kikwang leave so that you could take in all that happened. You ruffled your hair in confusion. *I was never good with this.*
