"Yaejin-ah!" , I hear someone call my name. I turn around to face them.

"Oh, hi, Hyeomin." I greeted her.

"Hello! Mind if I join you at lunch?"

"Sure."

We head to the the cafeteria for lunch. I spotted Jiae in our usual place.

"Oh, you brought her...." , Jiae said seeing Hyeomin's face.

"Why? Missed me?" , Hyeomin teased.

Jiae stuck her tongue out. "Like I would."

"You guys are really warming up to each other." , I said to them.

"Well, she's actually warming up to everyone. She's all buddy-buddy with them." , Jiae said.

"Yup." Hyeomin said. "Everyone's fine with me now, but you guys are different."

"How different?", I asked.

"I don't know. Maybe like "best friends"?"

"Pffft.", Jiae scoffed. "Me? Best friends with you?"

"Come on. Give it some thought. I know you love me somewhere there." Hyeomin points at Jiae's chest.

Jiae looks at Hyeomin for a moment, but later laughs at it.

"What? Is there something on my face?" , she asks.

"No. But fine. We are "friends"."

"See? I told you you love me."

I just laugh with them along their conversations until someone interrupted it by getting my lunch which I didn't notice until Jiae hit that person with her hand.

"Ah, ouch! You don't need to punish me violently." , he said.

"Oppa! What are you doing here?", I asked my brother.

"I was just trying to take care of my little sister." He said with a smile.

"Yeah, by eating her lunch." Jiae said rolling her eyes.

"She doesn't eat it anyway.", he murmured.

"Yes, I do." I said trying to defend myself with me eating lunch.

"No, you don't. I'll tell eomma you don't eat your lunch."

"No, you won't. You forget everything before you even tell eomma."

"Aish, this girl."

"Um, who is he?" Hyeomin asked. I forgot she was even there.

"Oh, him." Jiae said. "This guy is--"

She was cut off by himself. "I do my own introductions. I am Lee Sandeul. I am Yaejin's brother."

"Ah, okay. I'm Kang Hyeomin, Yaejin's friend."

"Well, it was nice meeting you. I'll be going now."

Just as he was about to leave, I caught him. "Aren't you forgetting something?"

He looked at me confused. "Well, thanks then." He then got my lunch and ran away.

"That's not what I meant!" , I yelled at him while he was running away.

"How come this is the first time I see him?" , Hyeomin asked.

"You really didn't notice him?" , Jiae asked, but Hyeomin just shook her head.

"Well, I know you'll see more of him from now on." , I assured Hyeomin.
