"That ramen would be 9,000 won, sir.", I said to the customer.

"Oh, here you go.", he said, handing 10,000 won. I looked up at him.

"Myungsoo?"

"Yaejin? What are you doing here?"

"As you can see, I work here."

"Ah, well, keep the change.

"Okay."

He went to eat the ramen at the table. I went back to work. Time passed by.

"Yaejin. Shift's over.", said the boss.

"Ne, I'll go now."

I got my bag and went outside. Myungsoo was there.

"Yaejin-ah!", he called.

"Oh, Myungsoo-ssi. What are you still doing here?", I asked.

"I..uh... I was waiting for you."

"Mm. Say what you need to say."

"Uh, I forgot."

"Okay, well, see you at school.", I said, turning around.

"Wait!"

I turned again.

"You want a ride?"

"You don't really have to."

"Just come.", he said. "You know I've been a jerk to you. This is the least I can do."

"Fine." Then, I asked, "You can drive?"

"A motorcycle.", he replied.

We went to his motorcycle and he gave me a helmet.

"Here,", he said, as he handed the helmet to me. "You're gonna need this for safety."

"Like, I didn't know that.", I mumbled.

"Erm..., you should, you know, hold on to me.",he said, shyly.

"Uh..", I said. "Okay."

I held on to him, the whole ride. This is very awkward. We're not that close.

He asked. "Where's your house?"

"I'll give directions.", I replied.

"Uh, sure."

There was silence, then.

"So,", he said, trying to start a conversation. "How's school so far for you?"

"The usual.", I answered. "Nothing's happening much."

"How about Sungjong?", he asked. "I realized some things happened one day."

"What do you mean?"

"I know it's been a while, but, I still remember it. You tripped onto Sungjong."

I suddenly remembered. My face flushed. Why did he have to bring that up?  Now, I remember those lip of his. Curse those lips. "How'd you know that?", I asked.

"I saw it.", he chuckled. "It was kind of funny. Sort of love scene?"

"It was an accident."

"I know.", he said, still chuckling.

"Never bring that up. Again."

We reached my home, finally. Before he would asked more questions.

"Here you go.", I said, giving him the helmet.

"Thanks for bringing me home.", I said.

"It's nothing.", he said.

"Well, see you at school."

"Yeah, school. Bye." Then, he went away.

I looked back at the house. I see Sandeul, looking through the window, smiling.

I went inside. First thing that someone says, "That your boyfriend?" Of course, it was Sandeul.

"No, it was Myungsoo.", I responded.

"Eh? Kim Myungsoo??", he asked. "That kid was a bastard."

"He isn't anymore."

"He better."

I went to my room, took a shower, changed to my pj's and laid in bed.

Kim Myungsoo, you.... . You had to bring that incident up. You made me remember those beautiful lips. I admit, they are beautiful. Really. Grrr...

Then, I drifted off to sleep.
